Shinigami are a race of extra-dimensional beings who survive by killing humans to extend their own lives. The main thing all Shinigami have in common is the Death Note. This supernatural notebook allows them to end the lives of humans before their times, adding the human's remaining lifespans to their own. Sometimes a Shinigami gets bored and lets their Death Notes drop into the human world. Soon these Death Notes are found by humans but what will they do? Will they use it for justice? revenge? profit?
This story takes place at the beginning. Before any Death Notes have been discovered. What happens next is up to you...
