Sirius had been out looking for senshi, she wasn't sure how well they would react to get trying to subtly get information out of them, in fact part of her was feeling slightly bad about it. After all wasn't she on the same side of them wasn't she? Well at least this way she would find out whether that was the case or whether they hated her and the group she was apart of.

She had stopped in the park and sat down on the bench where she normally met Birhan though they weren't planning on meeting up today. She wanted to make a plan before she actually came across anyone, find some way of bringing up the BMC that wouldn't get her in trouble - after all she wanted to help them not hinder them even more!

She pulled out a notebook she generally carried away with her, it had a pawprint and was in her senshi colours. It also had a lot of notes in about well everything, the negas she had met and any plans she came up with.

She wrote BMC in large letters and put a line underneath it. Then she bit the edge of the pen and carried on chewing it till she put the notebook away and sighed. She was rubbish at talking on the best of days but she had to do this. The BMC may have more then one enemy and well that was enough for her to make sure she did something. She stood up and tried to pull her skirt down a little before trying to decide which way she would go to look for someone.

"Sirius!" Zirconia called out for the senshi the second she had her in her sights, the bulky feline trotting with a quickened pace to catch up with her while she was still zero'd in.

Since the meeting where Ares stormed out and left Birhan in charge, the guardian cat hadn't said much or socialized, not to the ISS or even the mercs, but she still felt comfortable to pester cadets with the usual frequency she imposed on the BMC as a whole, usually by picking someone to pick on and then hovering around them all night.

Sirius was tonight's lucky winner.

"There you are," She huffed, finally catching up before snagging a glimpse at the notebook. "What's that? Sirius, if you're going to be doing homework or doodling, you shouldn't be doing it in full fuku, that's just silly."

Sirius recognised the cat's voice as it called her name and she stopped dead. She hadn't expected to be found by Zirconia and she wasn't even sure whether the cat knew what she was going to be doing but maybe it was better that Ares found out sooner rather then later? It wasn't like they were doing this behind her back though Sirius did feel a little guilty.

"Zirconia!" She smiled as the cat got closer and then the smile vanished. Did she really think she was doing homework?

"It's my planning book actually! Birhan wants me to gather opinions on the BMC from other senshi, to find out the damage that was done with our relationship to them after..." She kind of trailed off not really liking to bring up the fact that they failed.

"You can come with if you want?" Sirius wasn't overly sure she would really need to ask the cat but it was polite yes? After all it would be nice to hear Zirconia's opinion on the group!

"Oh," Zirconia frowned a little, not sure she was comfortable with such an endeavor. It had become her firm belief that the fatal flaw in Operation Rota was that the current senshi were too young for such things, and she was quite certain other outside White Moon senshi wouldn't have any more understanding, in fact, almost definitely less.

"Yes, I'd like to tag along," She answered, closing a few inches between her and Sirius now that she had solidified her intention of trotting alongside her wherever she went tonight. "Are you sure... it's a good idea, though?" She asked, refraining from her usual _____ are too ignorant since that blank might offend whether it was filled with teenagers or White Moon senshi, or outsiders, or countless other subjects.

Sirius looked at Zirconia and bit her lip, the cat didn't seem overly optimistic about the idea and well it did worry her that she wasn't exactly over the moon about it.

"A good idea? Yep! I heard from a senshi that there are a lot who hate us, Birhan wants to find out who and why. I think it's just so we have an idea firstly what people know and secondly so that the BMC is fully informed about everything, on senshi side as well as nega stuff." Okay so she was possibly exaggerating because the idea came about after a talk where they both were worrying that they would get attacked by other senshi but that was something Sirius wasn't too sure should get back to Ares and her reasoning seemed like a good one.

"It's good to be prepared right?" Sirius looked at Zirconia again as if looking for some sort of approval. She just wanted the cat to see there was good intentions!

"I suppose," Zirconia said, trying to sound passive about it. "The group's understanding of their image is probably important. I don't think you're going to get very many tolerant answers, though." It came off as more of a warning. It wasn't that Zirconia didn't have faith in Sirius, but her faith in 'outsiders' was non-existent.

"Considering most every senshi I've seen on this side of the mirror is still in their teens, though, I don't think many of them are capable of understanding us. Practicality in war lends itself to some sort of disillusionment that tends to come from a few years of harsh reality. No offense, but you're all very young. I don't think many are going to see necessary actions as... well, necessary."

Sirius listened to the cat wondering sometimes just how old Zirconia was, not the cat in front of her but the cat inside that head. She sometimes spoke wise words and Sirius couldn't help but wonder.

"I agree completely. It just seems to make sense to find out what everyone thinks, after all a war amongst ourselves wouldn't be very good. If all the senshi hate us then we need to be aware of that in case one or two think it's their duty to do something about us. Killing negas is one thing but I don't imagine many of the BMC want to fight other senshi." This was Sirius's own opinions now and it was obvious, she was still naive about things.

"If the senshi attack us then they are stupid but at least we would be prepared and maybe by talking to them pretending to not be one of us, I can also make sure that those negative feelings aren't negative enough to cause us an issue." She wasn't sure how the other senshi worked sometimes. There were so many out there but at least she was part of a team that seemed to mostly work together. They had a goal and stuck to it at least.

"I don't know it can't do any harm knowing can it? They always say knowledge is power. Also I know some of the negas have been telling other senshi about what we did - I would like to know what is going on there too." Okay she knew a little more on that then she was going to share with the cat but she had hopefully made her point. She believed they had to know what the senshi thought about them just because they worked alone and not alongside them.

"No, of course not," Zirconia injected quickly. "I still agree, understanding the court's image in the eyes of other senshi is important." She was nodding quickly to try and cover up the fact she didn't really care what others think. But it was Sirius' project and she wanted her to succeed.

Though, she had to wonder...

"Sirius, what do you think about the court's actions?" She asked, looking up at her with fervent curiosity. She wasn't asking as some secret informant to Ares or the ISS in general. She really just wanted to know where Sirius was at this point. Her level of caring might've been elevated by the fact she felt like she was being kept in the dark about some things currently going on in Court politics.

Sirius looked at the cat and just smiled as she seemed to agree though how much Sirius wasn't overly sure. Such was the way of cats... Sirius hadn't met a cat that was easy to work out but then maybe she didn't want to work them out.

"What do I think?" She looked at Zirconia and bit her lip wondering what she could and couldn't say. Oh to hell with it, she might as well let loose about everything!

"I think Ares needs to think more when she acts, whether thats the whole of the ISS or not I don't know but Ares needs to be careful. Right now she is becoming as alien to us as those princesses. Surely that wasn't the point of the court?" Or maybe Sirius had misunderstood. "I will stick by the court till it falls apart, I believe there is real wanting to sort things out but sometimes I wonder if there is more reason for it to Ares after all this isn't her home, nor yours." Yet at the same time it was but then Sirius only saw Ares, though she didn't know the girl behind Ares she found it hard to believe that the girl inside there was what was being shown at their meetings.

"The BMC has taught me so much I couldn't thank it enough, the training everything. I at last feel as if I belong which is more then I could have said before! Maybe it would explain why I have only just upgraded when I have been a senshi nearly as long as Nemesis..." Not quite as long but Nemesis hadn't been in the business that long if she could remember their first meeting correctly. "I just feel like Ares is full of hate and... maybe I am wrong but I think she needs to show some more humanity to keep everyone on side." Sirius was backing Birhan now, she had pledged her full support to her and right now Birhan seemed more of a leader then Ares because she seemed to actually care.

Zirconia just listened to Sirius talk on about Ares and hung her head with a look something akin to shame. "It's not Ares' fault," She was quick to defend. "Ares... Ares was not the parallel captain for a reason," that was about as critical as she could get of the senshi of smoke, but she was at least willing to admit that. Aphrodite was the sweet talker, Nehelenia was the mover of masses. But Ares...

"But in battle, Ares is the best your could ask for. Politics and connecting is just not where she shines," There was a sad little grimace. It was hard for her to imagine such problems showing up if the parallels were unified, rather than just four scattered and misplaced souls. Like she needed another reason to be homesick.

"Perhaps Birhan can mend that a little," She admitted. It was a hard thing to admit, especially since she was against regime changes in general, much less regime changes that put a parallel out of the leadership position. But she did see Birhan having a better time dealing with the dissenters and maybe even composing operations more suited for the teenaged and immature soldiers.

"Maybe you need to tell Ares that, would she listen to you? The BMC worked together last time, the operation failed but they all worked together to pull it off right? It's just Ares doesn't seem to understand that you have to learn from your mistakes. Or maybe she doesn't care... I don't know. She seems power hungry at least from where I am standing. She is one of yours though, would she listen to you?" Sirius knew she was probably talking out of turn letting her thoughts out about Ares. She respected the leader and could completely agree with Zirconia that their leader was an amazing fighter, the best maybe but she wasn't a good leader. She didn't seem to know how to handle people.

"I'm sorry I probably shouldn't go on so much... I am just a cadet after all." It annoyed her sometimes that she was just a cadet. It meant she felt like she was at the bottom and well generally it meant she kept her thoughts to herself. However something had changed recently, she had let her thoughts out to Birhan and now Zirconia. A small voice in the back of her head was trying to shout warnings to her... she needed to remember her place.

Zirconia just made a little, unsure groan of a noise and awkwardly looked to the side. Would Ares listen to her? This was something she actually had no idea about.

Zirconia had always been one to agree with Ares. There were times when she didn't, in their long history, but if it was so polarizing that they were not on the same side of an issue, there was always someone more outspoken about it to butt heads over it and Zirconia could just say silent. To be here, with this problem, was unsettling and definitely uncertain.

Probably, for the most part, she didn't like telling Ares she was anything but right. Ares was battle-ready senshi she had always liked, because Zirconia herself had a long history with wars and tensions, though it was always on the political side of things. The one who had followed Tyndareus blindly and agreed any powerful monarchy near the moon was a threat to be watched. The cat who had encouraged an arms race between the Earth and Moon for annihilation. Nehelenia tempered her aggressive political views, and as much as Zirconia constantly asked herself, 'what would the queen think?' Nehelenia was still gone. That balance was gone with her. How could she say Operation Rota wasn't right, at the very least, in spirit, when she could rally for so much more extreme things? And especially since she approved another operation similarly executed.

She just shifted awkwardly on her paws and looked at the ground, and the up at Sirius, her brow knotted with all that inner tension. "Don't be so nervous," She said, almost like she was getting short tempered at the cadet. "The Blood Moon Court has no royals above you, everyone opinions are important. Even a cadet in training."

Sirius had no idea what was going through the cats head, nor did she want to know. She hoped that it would be all positive but then when she spoke the hopes of positivity vanished though whether that was because she was getting annoyed at Sirius well that was anyones guess.

"I know." She said in a rather defeated voice. She had decided that she had indeed annoyed the cat and should have just kept her mouth shut. She couldn't take back what she said though.

"I should probably get on..." She didn't want to tell Zirconia to go but at the same time she wasn't sure there was much else to say between them and well she didn't want to annoy her even more.
PostPosted: Sun Jun 19, 2011 8:05 pm

"I'm sorry," Zirconia said, ears flattening when she heard the defeated voice and approaching to rub the side of her head against Sirius' leg. She didn't mean to snap and demoralize the cadet. especially when it didn't have much to do with her.

"Your mission is a good one. We should find someone for you to interview," She concluded. "Let's go this way, I'll scan for any power signatures."

And she trotted off, hoping Sirius would be open to following her.

Sirius smiled a little as Zirconia apologized and rubbed against her. It was still so strange talking to cats like she did but she was getting use to it.

"It's okay and go and lead the way then!" She smiled, her voice a little more cheerful. It was nice to have the guardian cat beside her, it was reassuring but at the same time Sirius never knew where she stood with her or some of the other BMC. As Zirconia had said they were all equals but yet she never felt like that.

She followed Zirconia, trusting completely that they would at least fine someone so the BMC knew all their enemies not just the obvious ones.
