It would seem that there are many games that are having the third installment come out this year.
Such as:

F.E.A.R. 3
Dungeon Siege III
Gears of War 3
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3*
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Max Payne 3
Battlefield 3
Dirt 3
Stronghold 3
Serious Sam 3: BFE
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Saints Row: The Third
Resistance 3
Diablo III (Supposedly. Beta is more likely)

There are probably a bunch of non mainstream games that I haven't named.
So, a lot of games are coming out with a third installment, but my questions are simple.
Do you think any of them will be good?
Are there games that you would you like to see a third or even a second installment of?

*Note: I know CoD:MW3 isn't the third installment of Call of Duty, but it is the third Modern Warfare.

Well out of all these games the ones i know i will be playing are F.E.A.R. 3, Gears of War 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Diablo 3 (most likely for this one <<).
I believe that all the ones I have mentioned will be good... as for the other ones I couldn't really say other then what I've heard or think about that specific game.
As for games that i can think of atm that i would like to see a third or second installment of... Bioshock 3 (called Bioshock: Infinite), Dragon Age 3 and Mass Effect 3.
For some reason I can't think of any games right now in this criteria that don't already have a planned sequel but, the above mentioned games will be seen in either 2011 or 2012 depending on the title.
Edit: I would like to see an Amnesia 2 because Amnesia: The Dark Descent is the best survival horror game I have played yet.

Dungeon Siege 3, Stronghold 3, and Diablo 3 are really the only games I'm interested in. All the rest are shooters (except for Dirt). :/

Diablo's pretty much guaranteed to be good since it's made by Blizzard, but I'm not entirely sure how stronghold and DS are gonna turn out. I played Stronghold: Crusader, and though it had really unique, realistic concepts, the difficulty was just brutal. I couldn't even get past the 4th mission in the first campaign, it was that hard. So I kinda hope it'll be a bit easier.
I've never played Dungeon Siege before, but I like diablo-esque games so I might take a look at it.

I'm really looking forward to Uncharted 3 Drakes Deception Because I fell In love with the second and the third seems to be more unique. I'm soooooo excited to play the multiplayer beta this summer!!!! Bioshock infinte looks great and the new idea with the sky is cool. I wonder if Rapture is connected in any way... Well I hope Eleanor is going to show up? Idk when Bioshock 3 takes place
