Niflhel was standing on a soccer field, an abnormal haunting place for him but he brought a ball. Kicking it he was never very good at Soccer but had improved since middle school. Chris couldn't laugh at him anymore at least. Kicking the ball he sent it towards the goal but it fell lamely before making it. Okay Chris could almost not laugh at him anymore.
The older boy frowned slightly as he looked at the ball. "That's not how it's done." He grabbed the chain and aimed for the black and white offender giving it that extra whack to slam into the net. He grinned, "That's how it's done."
He was using this as a chance to practice his chain work and some kick boxing moves. It was an odd choice of training methods but it seemed to work. However, it also kept Niflhel distracted where he didn't notice anyone else either.

Ixion had been on his way home when he skirted across the field and saw Nifhel. His patrol had been uneventful, now his night was getting interesting. The young senshi had never seen a Knight before, and for a moment he was hesitant about approaching. The boy’s first thoughts were that the man in the strange outfit was with the Negaverse, as his aura wasn’t distinctly senshi. As a chibi senshi, his senses about this sort of thing were not fine tuned. He knew there were senshi, and there was ‘others’ and chaos. The distinction between ‘other’ and chaos was not well apparent.
It took a few minutes for Ixion to determine that Nifhel’s power signature was not one of the Negaverse. Thank god for that, since his last encounter had left the boy with a wounded hand. His injury was still not fully healed. Though you could not see the bandages underneath his glove, Ixion did hold his hand in an awkward manner.
Tentatively, the little orange and grey senshi approach the strangely dressed man. He came up behind him. When Nifhel went to get the ball, Ixion followed him like a shadow, silently following the man but unsure of whether to speak.

Niflhel felt the power signature first, it was weaker than a normal senshi's but still there. He then heard the footsteps behind him in the grass as he went to fetch the ball from the net. His brow lofted, "You know, you don't have to try to sneak up behind me."
He said as he turned around and blinked a few times. A kid?? Niflhel's eyes narrowed slightly as he looked around, a kid was a senshi?? "Well hello there." He said after a second stooping down so he could be eye to eye with Ixion and not his full 5'7" height.

Nifhel’s obvious ease and relaxed position at Ixion’s presence made the boy feel more comfortable. He definitely wasn’t going to kill or attack him, right? Cautiously, Ixion reached out and lightly tapped Nifhel’s shoulders. Tap… tap…. His face remained stony, but mildly curious as an eyebrow raised. “I just wasn’t sure what you are. ...What are you?”

Niflhel couldn't help but chuckle, "What? Well.. I'm a Knight, a Page to be precise." He looked at the kid, "And what are you?" He countered with a grin.
It was only fair, the soccer ball was on the ground beside him, one hand placed there, the other was draped over his knee. Watching the child with the same curiosity why was a senshi so young, was the kid even a senshi?

A Knight? That was a real thing? “Page, like a piece of paper? You're a paper Knight?” Were Knight made of paper and made real, straight out of a storybook? Ixion was sure he knew a few girls who would love that.
Ixion took a defensive stance, as if the question was offensive. He was a senshi! Obviously! How could there be any doubt? “I’m Ixion, senshi of coal! Can’t you tell?”

Niflhel started laughing, "A page like King Aurthur use to be. While page is a piece of paper, it's also a knight in training." He explained as he watched the kid.
He paused when the kid took a defensive stance. The knight still looked confused, "Yeah... but you're awful young." He commented watching the senshi of coal.
There was something sneaking up on them cautiously, it saw the ball. Normally Youma's didn't care, but it just had to have that ball.... it was creeping up on them hoping neither one noticed as it skittered through the field.

“I don’t know him really.” English mythology wasn’t high on his reading list, nor something they had yet covered in school.
“I’m not that young! I’m not a baby!” The eleven year old rolled his eyes. Seriously, why did everyone have to treat him like he didn’t know what he was doing. “I’m totally capable…”
The boy paused. Something was stirring his senses, but when he turned to look at what lurking around, he saw nothing.

Niflhel chuckled, "He's a king. He had this big round table. You should drop by the library sometimes. I heard they have puppet shows if you like that sort of thing."
He shook his head, "That's not what I meant. I meant I don't expect a squirt running around trying to be a super hero. It's bad enough I know some of my friends that are a few years younger than me are senshi." He paused, having noticed something dart across the field. His eyes narrowed at the movement as he leaned off to the side.
There was a very serious look on his face. "I think we have company." He said softly.
Indeed they did, the youma skittered again and it fuzzy, had a head and one foot. How the hell it was so sneaky even Niflhel didn't know. "BALLLL" It cried as it made it's way to them, quickly on finger-like toes ready to ram into the smallest one.

The koosh-ball like youma nearly ran straight into the small senshi. Reflexes acting quickly, Chibi Ixion grabbed hold of the strange monster’s fuzzy head. It felt oddly squishy under his hands. Without thinking about it, the boy tossed the thing aside like he was a bullfighter. It was a light as a basketball, and was easily flung to the side. The youma made a sad little cry before calling out for the soccerball again, “ Baaaaaaaallllllll!?”
The youma somehow sprang back up onto it's foot, wobbling back and forth.
Ixion glanced back at Nifhel. “Looks like you’re not the only one who wants to play.”

Niflhel started laughing, at the youma. "Well lets give it what it wanted." He smiled picking up the soccer ball and throwing it towards the Youma hoping to smack it the thing in the head.
He grinned as he thing got smacked but it kept bouncing the ball on it's head before kicking it towards niflhel at what might as well be super speed, "Woahh..." He dodged throwing his chain towards the ball deflecting it. "You little koush faced jerk."
The bouncing thing headed towards Ixion next, "ball!!" It cried wanting to play more and break some bones in the process.

“Ixion Coal Rush!” Instead of a ball, the koosh youma was met with a hard lump of coal. The coal hit the youma directly in the eye, though it did not break into soot. The youma still ended up blinking furiously as it teetered on its single foot, trying to keep balance.
“What is with this thing?” Ixion took the opportunity to pick up the ball and bounce it back at the youma while it was somewhat blind.

Niflhel watched as Ixion called his attack and smacked the youma. Good, he managed to get up and get his footing whipping his chain out towards the youma while it was distracted. "Careful about that ball!" He called frowning when the other kicked it back.
"I don't think it's going to go down like that, he packs too strong of a punch when he kicks it." He wasn't even sure how the thing kicked the ball but it certainly got a lashing to the back.
Which caused the youma to whine in pain, "b-b-balllllllllllll!" It would get them both for this, for hurting it like this. It seemed to be getting mad, and with Niflhel's chain in reach it tried to latch onto it.

Chibi Ixion watched the youma bounce the ball away and the way that it sprang back and forth on its foot. Even though the youma was partially tied lashed from Nifhel’s chains, it still had a strong shot. The ball flew back at Ixion, nearly smacking him the face, but Ixion was quick to dodge that. Dodging balls was one of the few things he was really good at.
The youma was like a spring, spry and bouncy. It seemed that attempting to knock it over with the ball, or really anything wasn’t going to work.
“We need to get it off it’s foot! Or still atleast!” The boy looked around. The goal post! “Do you think you can tie it up” Ixion pointed to the post before picking up the ball and running over to the goal.
“Fuzzy ball! Is this what you want? You’ll have to come get it!” Ixion began kicking the ball back and forth under his feet, traveling a figure eight around the goal.

Niflhel was trying to keep it from bouncing but only one leg it was hard to do. This thing was worse than Tigger, he tried to pull the foot out from under it but it again ended up bobbling back up.
"Yeah, I know." He said when he was told they needed to make it still, however the goal post was a good idea. "Yes. That's what chains are for sometimes." He watched Fuzzy keeping it on the 'leash' and running trying to keep up with the thing that was following Ixion when it started going around the goal Posts Niflhel tied off the chain to keep the thing from going much further. "Well... he's on a leash now."
The fuzzy monster whined when it couldn't move any further than the chain would let it. It didn't like this, it couldn't reach that ball, "BALLLLLL" It cried out.
"Kid you ever use a punching bag?" Niflhel asked looking at Ixion.
