Ah recess that time where Lissy could plan her next move! The first prank of the day had gone pretty badly really when it came to it. Complete fail, the glue hadn't dried so the teacher had picked her glass up fine, granted there was a mess when it came to looking at the desk but the teacher had just looked at her and carried on! Where was the acknowledgment in that? The next one would have to be a good one, well thought out...
To be honest the school was a bit of a dump and the teachers all a bit on edge since the whatever it was that happened a while ago. She had enjoyed the time off school for sure but the dump they had come back to... oooo maybe she could just make the teacher jump, that would be funny!
She was leaning against one of the school walls looking out at the other kids, she could go play but.... she rather enjoyed plotting!

Istas was finally happy to get out of the class room for a change. Now if she could manage to hide from Billy the 3rd Grade Bully and not be his target for today it would be really nice.
Istas was walking past Lissy towards the plastic tube maze on the playground. She'd think of something to do once she got into her little hidden spot, if she could.

Lissy didn't know much about the 3rd grade bully, she had heard there was in the 3rd grade but being in the 4th grade meant that generally she didn't care much for those who were below her. Istas caught her attention though and she followed, sometimes younger kids did stupid things that could give her an idea or two.
She then watched the girl hide and well yes there was a little confusion there.
"Why are you hiding?" She just said in a very matter of fact way. She was on her own, maybe she was playing hide and seek or something? There had to be some reason for it? Why else hide at recess, the only time you get to escape and be crazy and free from the teachers! If only for a small time!

Istas had been watching out one of the windows, when she heard a voice causing her to jump. Butter yellow eyes turned to find Lissy, "Oh... uh..." She saw Billy walking across the playground.
"Because of him." She pointed out the window towards the 3rd Grade Bully. Her eyes turned back to Lissy, "It's easier to stay hidden than to get picked on all the time."

Lissy wasn't one to hide from people and she didn't see the point of it. She looked as the kid she was pointing at and laughed.
"Oh come on you could take him on!" She laughed again and looked around the floor by the tree's that were near the fence. She ran off and then came back again with a couple of pine cones.
"Here put one on his seat, keep the others for future use. Once he knows someone else is better then him he will stop!" Granted she didn't know this was true but it seemed right in her head. No one had ever picked on her but then it was possible they said she picked on them. Normally she played her tricks on the teacher though not her classmates, she liked most of them!

Istas looked at the pine cones she was handed, almost curious before picking up her teddy bear bag and placing them inside. "Alright...." She would probably dispose of them later. "If I can manage to get one there without being caught."
She pulled out a coloring book and looked at Lissy, "Do you like to color?" She asked curiously holding up a book with zoo animals on it. She didn't know what else to do, as she often colored alone in the tubes until recess was over.
"Or... would you like to do something else?" It was especially rare she had kids other than Ainsley, Ridley and Sam talking to her.

"You just hide and colour?" Lissy looked at her really rather confused. "How old are you?" She had to wonder because the girl wasn't in her class so had to be younger right? She looked at her again, really rather confused. There were loads of kids to play with and she was hiding from a boy?
"Get out of there, being scared of a boy is just stupid. He probably likes you anyway. Apparently boys try and hurt girls they like because they don't like to admit it... oooo maybe he wants to kiss you!" She laughed at the thought, the boy wasn't exactly anything special and Lissy couldn't find it amusing.
"Maybe you could ask him to play kiss chase or something? He will either agree or like leave you alone after that!" The idea had caught on in Lissy's mind and she was half tempted to go and tell the boy herself. She looked at Istas though and just laughed.
"Or you can hide on your own and colour, do you not have any friends?"

"I'm 10 and I like to color, I want to be an artist or something one day." She said with a smile, "Like Miss. Bailey." The child gave a nod but paused.
"Ehhh I don't think he likes me." She said looking to see where Billy was now, but he was out of sight apparently messing with some other kid. She wrinkled her nose, "What's kiss chase?" She looked at Lissy stupidly she'd never really heard of it but it'd probably help to have more friends than just Ridley and Ainsley.
"I do, just one of them is a bit... ahhh... what's the word...." Istas frowned not wanting to be mean about it so she shrugged it off after a second, "well anyways the other is normally rough housing with boys." She counted Sam as her friend too but he didn't seem to be out here today. Apparently they had rotated Recess times.

Lissy was slightly surprised that she was ten. Why weren't they in the same class? Lissy just shrugged.
"An artist sounds kind of boring." Lissy couldn't sit down and do art, in fact she couldn't really sit down and do anything. She liked to be up and about and doing stuff. She loved swimming mostly but she also danced and ran around like a pain in the arse that she was.
"You don't know what kiss chase is?" She laughed, what kid didn't know what kiss chase was? "It's what the name says, you chase someone and then try and kiss them! Loads of girls play it, see over there!" She pointed to some of the girls in her class chasing this poor boy around. "You really not heard of it before?"
As for friends Lissy was slightly confused by the fact that Istas didn't really explain one of her friends and then kind of just dismissed the other one. Though rough play with boys was lots of fun!

"It depends on what you want to do." Istas replied looking at Lissy, "There's plenty of Art that's fun, and super messy." She smiled, before placing the coloring book back in her bag.
She looked out the window when Lissy pointed to the girls chasing the boy. "I don't normally pay attention to something to like that." She paused, looking at Lissy, "So what do you normally do?" She asked curiously, perhaps if Billy wasn't such a bully Istas wouldn't have to normally hide in the tubes.

"Messy sounds good but colouring is just boring." Lissy wasn't going to budge on that one. She really did find it boring and well why would she enjoy it? She was a doing girl, sitting down wasn't really something she was very good at.
"What do I do? I cause trouble! It's lots of fun! Like this morning I glued the teachers book to her desk but it didn't have enough time to dry properly so she picked it up and there was glue all over her hand. It was pretty funny." Lissy chuckled remembering the teachers face.
"I was deciding what to do next when I saw you run and hide. Anyway aint that kid younger then you? Why don't you just stand up to him?" Lissy could be seen as a bully herself with how pushy and demanding she was - but she was generally super nice to her friends, just a bit bossy. Either way she wouldn't let anyone bully her, she had too much pride and confidence for a ten year old to let someone try and take it from her.

She nodded, "Well I don't really have anything that makes much of a mess with me since it's hard to carry messy things around." She scratched the back of her head, "Maybe Miss Bailey has something?"
She paused, "Oh, you didn't get in trouble?" She asked curiously lofting a brow. Well if Lissy could do it maybe she would at least find something interesting for them to do. The child frowned slightly, as she pondered.
Istas frowned, "Actually he's 11, he got held back A few years.... I just ended up starting later than others. Since we were in the process of moving here..." She said with a frown, thinking about, she probably should've been in grade four but things happen.
"I... figured if I tried to ignore him he'd go away." She admitted with a frown.

Lissy would have liked it if Istas had messy stuff on her it would have worked well for the plan she was creating in her head. Oh well!
"Nope didn't get into trouble!" Lissy was annoyed about that, it seemed the teachers view on her was to ignore her and the tricks she pulled which meant Lissy would have to be a little more inventive in the future!
"He is 11?" Lissy looked at him again and then lent back against the tube Istas was hiding in. "Maybe I could play a trick or two on him..." The idea amused her slightly and she would have to think this one through.
"What is he like? Who does he tend to pick on?" Lissy wanted to know everything. She didn't like bullys and so playing a trick on one would be just too much fun!

Istas blinked and looked awed, "Wow, I would be afraid that if I tried something like that I'd be in trouble. Unless it was Miss Bailey then she'd think it was an accident."
She looked out at Billy, "Yeah he's 11." She nodded before pausing with a chuckle, "That'd be a change of pace."
She paused when asked what he was like, "He has a big mouth, always talking during class if it's not to his posse, they're all 9 though.... it's making fun of me or someone else that he seems to find something to rub in. He tends to tear up things that belongs to others. He also calls others names. Like he calls me curly ears..." She paused what else had Billy done. "Oh... and this one time... he decided he was going to swipe someone's lunch and put a dead bird in their box." She made a face of utter disapproval. She'd been glad she hadn't been on the receiving end of that one.

Lissy looked as if she was concentrating hard while listening to Istas talk.
"Really?" She looked disgusted at the bird thing. Granted Lissy was all up for practical jokes and stuff but on the adults not the kids. She very rarely played tricks on other kids unless it was completely harmless and she knew the kid would take it well.
"I will have to come up with something good for him..." She smirked and then smiled. "Oh are you going to camp? Do you know if he is?" Camp would be the perfect place to teach him what he really was and then he would learn to behave at school as well! Lissy liked this idea very much! She already had so much planned for camp - the minute she was told she was going she had started plotting.
