 Patchems was alone in a meadow with a lake near by. It was nice to lay about and relaxing seeing there is nothing she can be the boss about. She stretches a bit as she continues to lay about. Watching Flowers bloom and feeling the coll spring breeze blow through her main and tail. It was nice and a bit too lonely for her. She sighs a bit as she wonders if she would meet another on this most perfect of days.
Closing her eyes and laying her head down. She allows her hearing to guild her if anything should come her way.

 Ramiro dove through a low settling cloud, his wings beating softly against the current to enjoy his new found sport. He didn't fly often, but when he did he usually flew with some elegance to his recklessness. He crashed through another low cloud and nickered in his delight at the gentle mist that welcomed him from the action. It was so much cooler in the sky. The wind blew so freely amongst the clouds and there wasn't any obstacles. Save for a bird or two... He blinked in just enough time to notice a pair of birds fluttering blindly towards him and managed to dodge the twitterpated duo with a snort. Birds always knew how to spoil some good fun. Well, this temporary break in his favored activity alerted him to just how hot he was getting. Perhaps a small dip in the nearby lake will cool him off. He shifted in his flight and pointed his muzzle down, diving towards the lake he had spotted below. He quickly picked up speed and probably seemed as if he was falling to any that didn't know him very well. He pulled up at the last moment, rapidly flapping his blue wings to straighten his flight path and glide into a skidding splash within the lake itself. He ended up near the edge with enough room to wade happily before easily walking out of the water to sun himself dry. He was unaware that anyone else was nearby... otherwise he probably would be showing off far more than he had already.

Patchems heard the splash as she opens her eyes looking at the stallion. Oh great another male to tell me how odd I look with my patches. She thought as she slowly sets up and shakes the bit of water that he had got onto her. She looks at him a bit. "Well that was graceful." her tone of her voice is one of someone who is annoyed.
She walks over to the lake a bit away from him as she gets a drink. Well it was a nice day. her thoughts continue as she keeps her eyes on the Stallion that crashed her nap in the sun. She then noses the water putting her nose fully in the water then tosses her head up with a rear to get water droplets to fall onto her back.
She then watches the stallion a bit. "So do you crash everything in a flashy way?"

Ramiro shook himself off, though nearly froze in mid-action to the sound of a voice nearby and almost allowed himself smile to the thought alone. 'Graceful? Me?!' he thought to himself. He was nearly excited by the comment had it not been suggested in such a tone.
He turned his head towards the female, about to make some snide comment about how he's always graceful, but the sight he saw was clearly unexpected and... only slightly disturbing. He took another quiet moment to shake himself off at a safe distance before stretching his wings out to sun and dry off.
"It would have appeared a little less careless had I known someone was watching." he smirked then nodded his head in her direction. He thought it best to be kind to her in the moment. His father didn't spend endless hours teaching him manners for nothing. He may have been a little unsure of this female due to her rather unique coat, but that didn't stop him from trying to put forth a little bit of charm. Besides, he had few friends yet. Perhaps she'd be worthy enough to be considered one such ally. Her tone had already proved that she held some spunk to her demeanor... why not?
He chuckled a bit, seeming to puff up his chest slightly. "The name's Ramiro..." he started again in an almost suave tone. "And who might I have the pleasure of meeting this day?"

"The name is Patchems." Her vocie soft though the tone of it is one you can tell she uses the most. It is a protection tone, annoyed, and evil all in one. She walks like she owns everything she touches and as if no one could ever tame her. After all she acts like she is too good for anyone to tame her heart or soul. And her spirit will remain free. No matter what happens.
She waits for the name calling and snickering at her markings. "I wasn't really watching. I was trying to sleep until getting splashed woke me up." She prances a bit to where she was to begin at. Seeing she is done drinking. The wild flowers area her add something to her temper. But her movements speak loud and clear that she is the boss and not a soul can chance that.

He perked his ears and only slightly tilted his head at her actions, each step and prideful stride of her being seemed to echo dares into his thoughts. She seemed like a right challenge to even befriend. Oh... this would be fun...
He grinned and somewhat mimicked her actions. The ground beneath him was his and he was quite proud to think of it such. He fluttered his wings a bit and chuckled to her words.
"Believe me, had I known a unique and charming being such as yourself was nearby I would have splashed a bit further away."
He looked her up and down again, trying to picture her in a way her father would be fond of. She was a pretty little thing... once you got passed those patches - which were pretty on their own - she definitely was something to behold. And her actions seemed to shower the area with confidence.
"So what brings a Princess like you into my neck of the woods?" he then asked, keeping an eye on her regardless of the amount of arrogant charm he started to splash into every action and statement. Whether it was his or not, he couldn't say. The fact was, she was in the same area that he was in... so therefore, it was his area for the moment.

Cocking her head a bit at his words. Princess.. What in hell was this Stallion talking about. Her eyes glare at him for a moment as she takes in a deep breath only to release it slowly. "Unique, Charming, and Princess. Such words have no true meaning to me it is arrogance that they are even used." She states a bit as her tone is up protective as in attack mood.
He mocked her. Somehow he was. But why would this Stallion even tempt it. After all she isn't a push over and if he was going to push her then she would just have to push back even harder.
"I come to this spot a lot for bathing in the sun and relaxing. Not a lot of others about in this area so it is peaceful. What brings you here?"
This area was hers and he had the nerve to call it his own. She sighed but thought that she should humor him a bit if nothing else.

Ramiro shrugged and blinked in slight shock at how easily she snipped back at him over something so simple.
"Arrogance?" he asked only slightly dumbfounded. "Wha- Me?" he snerked a bit as if he was slightly hurt by the accusation and shook his head. She was a bit of a spitfire queen, if anything. "Alright... Fine. I'll take the Princess one back." he smirked. "But the other two shall remain."
She stepped around for a bit until he found a nice sunny spot, not too far from her but not close enough to give her too much discomfort of his presence. Girls like her needed to warm up to him and she was proving to be one such a creature that would need more time than most girls.
"I like the currents over the lake." he started again, gesturing a bit to his wings. "The wind provides a sufficient amount of lift to keep my hunk of mass up in the air."
He tilted his head towards her curiously. "What about you, though? Do you live around here?"

"I live in the nearby forest so I am here a lot." Watching him closely. She would never understand about the currents and what not. After all she isn't a Wind type. Thinking about commenting on the whole wind current and his hunk of mass but choses not to seeing it is something she has no say in because she doesn't know a thing about that issue.
"So the Sky is more domain then the ground I take it. If that is the case..." She turns so her back is to him and then rears up pretty high and mighty. "No worry of me ever stepping into it." Her front hooves hit the land as her movements were very graceful again like she owns all she touches.
Her smirk creeps onto her face as she closes her eyes. If this Stallion thinks he can win her over then he is wrong. Her thoughts loud and clear in her mind.

He made a face as if to ponder that thought a moment. "Nnnno..." he started soon after, shaking his head a bit. "Just today. To be honest, I prefer the ground over the sky. But that's only if I had to pick between the two. I wouldn't give up my wings though. Their too..." ... he thought about using the term 'important' to finish that statement, but thought quickly enough to catch it for something a little more appealing to himself. "... too attached to me."
He chuckled faintly at his clever little joke.
He then tucked his wings against his sides and shrugged into them a bit. "You have a strong set of legs there..." he nodded with a sly smirk. "Do you like to run?"
"And you can step on or in my land all you want, gorgeous. Unless you're there for blood... cause then you'd have to put up with my father..." He shuffled a bit on his hooves at the mention of his father. He knew parentals weren't exactly a good subject topper, but maybe if he showed a little compassion for his elders she might sway a bit more in his direction? It was worth a shot, at least. She was turning out to be a real tough nut to crack.

"And why would I be somewhere for blood? I might be Choleric but Blood is going a bit too far don't you think?" Was he trying to bait her? Well it isn't going to work. Why would she fall for such a trick? After all she isn't a prize for a Stallion to show off to others. She is the leader in her life and no one is going to take charge of her.
She won't allow it. If he tried then maybe Blood would fall. "I run a lot. I love to see how fast I can go." She wasn't going to ignore anything he was saying even if she wasn't answering it in order. "And no s**t your wings are attached to you. If you tried to talk them off you would hurt yourself."
What was this Stallion thinking. "Mind you if I touch it then for the time I am touching it. It isn't your land but mine. Until I remove myself from it. And if for Blood why would I have to put up with your father?" SHe was going to say something about him not being able to handle one little mare like herself. But didn't.

Who... Spitfire Queen indeed. His facial features skewed as if he was confused by her words then shook his head.
"I didn't mean anything by it. Just... offering a friendly warning. There was a Skinwalker in our lands not too long ago. It tried to attack my father, but he managed and drove it off. Since then, the poor old sod has been fretting over every little thing. He would go into a panic if I strayed too far from him for months until I convinced him that I was old enough to fend for myself. But he's still a little weary about meeting new Soqs because of it..."
He looked her over up and down. He knew his father would wind up treating her like a princess with all his manners and things and probably end up getting more girls that Ramiro could possibly dream of... but Saluki was one to be quiet and what Ramiro considered a follower. The only time his father ever took the role of a leader was when Ramiro was a foal. Demanding this, that and the other - all in the efforts to keep him safe, he would say.
He then chuckled softly and shook his mane. "Fine! This land is your land." he gave in easily, not wanting to heat her up any further to risk losing her so soon. "I guess I should be asking you if you will allow me to accompany you then? If only for a little visit?" He swished his tail softly into the wind and took a few small steps towards her direction.
"In all honesty, I'd like to get to know you better." NOW his true charm began to show through - not the bold and brazen form of it he practically forced upon everyone he encounters - but the calm and sincere charm. It could probably be easily distinguished as one he doesn't always embrace, though it does slip out from time to time... especially when HE least expects it.

"The Friendly Warning noted." She watches him get a bit closer to her. "Accompanying me to where? If you are just in the same area then you aren't really accompanying one. Accompanying another is going somewhere with them. And only would you wish to visit?" Trying to understand this Stallion was giving her a headache.
"To know me better??? Why??" Her tone of voice is shocked a bit. No Stallion she has ever met so far has ever wanted to know her better. Was this a trick? She steps closer to him and walks in a circle around him. Wondering what it is he could be up to.

He seemed to chuckle a bit in a small bout of confusion. "You don't meet very many Soqs, do you?" he asked a little amazed at how she seemed to coil at his offer.
"Well, forgive me for using the wrong term, then... Visit, yes." he nodded and watched her curiously as she started to circle around him. "And why not?" he asked as he began to turn with her, seeming to lather on the charm with his posture and grins once more. "Any being as graceful as yourself is bound to get some attention from a bunch of handsome Soqs. But, I'm not one to try and compare to any of them, let me assure you." he chuckled again - in his thoughts, he added 'because I know I'm handsome enough.' - and flicked his tail a bit.
"Besides..." he started once more, standing still again to allow her to continue circling if she so wished. The world was beginning to spin on him anyway. "You seem to be all alone here. I've found that a little company now and then is a welcomed relief. Don't you think so?"

"I have a met a few stallions." She stops circling him as she turns her back to him and sways her tail side to side and trots to the lake. All of this chatting has given her a bit of a dry mouth. Once at the lake she stops trotting and walks into the lake until the water is up to her chest. Leaning her head in she takes a drink.
While doing this the breeze catches her mane and tail making them dance on the surface of the water and in the air. She looks back at him a bit. She can't figure him out. First he is more like her having to be the leader and boss. And now charming. What was going on?
"Company is something that sometimes becomes annoying. Though I normally don't have a lot of it. I avoid it most of the time." She moves slowly out of the water.
