Adolescent. The word and growth that had come with it still stunned the young daughter of two of the Pride's members. Her pale coat blended well into the snow as she let her larger feet pad across the snow. Shaking a bit of her dual-colored mane out of her heterochromatic eyes, she was currently just finishing what she supposed would be called training. She loved it here, within the Pride. It was amazing, honestly, and the fact of the matter was, that she loved it even more for her family. Especially her brother, the one ever so capable of spinning a tale.
Curious as she likely shouldn't have been, she'd wandered out a bit further than she was used to. Laying her lithe body down in the snow, she licked at a strange mark on her chest that came not from any of her family. She rather thought it was a pretty thing, as odd as it may have been. Looking out over the snowy expanse of her homeland, she was thinking at the moment, thinking of her dreams, the ones that somehow teased her mind with the stories of the dreams her father had before coming to the pride. She liked dreaming. Eira'ffres found that oft times dreaming was what allowed her to relax..."So strange..." She murmured, to the lightly falling flakes.

Isolde had been enjoying the renewed prosperity in her pride's lands. Since the spring things had gone well. New members, new births. Good hunts and (relatively) warm days. There was no need to go fishing in her secret stream, and at long last her members were starting to talk in kindly words about her reign.
Today she'd decided to go walking among her lions without her dear mate's company. He was always eager to be by her side and be helpful, but there were young hunters needing trained...and with no cubs of her own to submit to his attention, she'd felt uncomfortable being near for that event. Perhaps something was wrong with her? She pushed the negative thought away. It was such a nice day, why waste it with worry?
Her brown and green form stuck out easily from the snow, but her eyes were sharp and used to spying the better blending members. And one was just ahead. Picking up the pace, she strode up to the younger female and smiled down at her. "It isn't often one prefers a nap in the snow over one in the warm dens! You must be blessed by the gods to be warm that way." She chuckled.

Her ears perked at the sound of a voice, eyes gazing at the female behind her. When she spoke of napping in the snow, a wry smile spread over the younger's maw. Chuckling, she swiped a tongue over her rather thick coat, "I've grown used to the snow. My thick coat and paws help with that, so I suppose the Gods are to be thanked for such fortune." Her words were soft spoken, even tempered. This was Eira's way, since she wasn't much for speaking up. Bowing her head, the odd-eyed adol smiled, "My name is Eira'ffres. Daughter of Illyon and Merino." Yes, she always introduced herself that way.
Pulling her form up to a sit, her tail curled elegantly around her paws as her head canted to the side, waiting for a return of the name. She did like the snow....It kept her thoughtful, and the beauty of it....was far from lost on the young one.
