[ ► ►► The year 2121 was the year that the first Pokemon was invented: Mew. It was a simple formula that the scientists of the 22nd century had learned to duplicate before the modern-day Pokeball and Box System that you have come to know and love in games. The outbreak of Pokemon was a much celebrated, much excited result.
However many knew that with that came with the obstruction of the food chain. Many of the top animals were previously extinct, a known fact that was never discussed. The world was already dying from a radiation that seemed to affect everything except for the newly- established Pokemon. Mew had learned how to regenerate his own body to become any pokemon and reproduce from scratch.
The dying population and the thriving Pokemon intrigued the scientists, to the point where they began research on humans. It wasn't until 2530 though, that the human population, upon almost dying, had been introduced to a gijinka, a mixture of pokemon and human DNA to gather a halfling appearance. However, in a controlled environment that was a city, a city with the remaining homo sapiens that reined rulers saw the mix inferior. The bulbasaur was driven to suicide.
They realized, though, that there were other human-like creatures to test their studies on: Vocaloids. Of course, Vocaloids never felt. They don't know emotion or greed, how could they be a problem?
Little did they know that this was untrue in all forms. The human population is dying; is this replacement worse?]

-First of all, I am the highest authority in the roleplay. Anything you say or do can get you banned, so watch it.
-Send all profiles through me. I do not want Mary-Sues and Gary-Stus in my roleplay.
-All characters shall be Vocaloids or scientists.
-No bed scenes. Seriously, I don't mind Yaoi or Yuri, but this isn't real life, so keep it in your pants and keep your clothes on. This technically is action, so.
-Title PMs Vocaloid.

My name is Michael Salvatori Gravano, and I am 32 Years old. I think my birthday is 03/22. On that day, my mom and dad gave birth to a male People always look at first impressions. I'm pretty friendly, I always try to get on peoples' good sides. I'm not as interested in these experiments as the other scientists, and I'm frankly a little confused about the ethics. And then backstories are cool. I wasn't originally a biologist. I actually started as a theoretical physicist (best job ever. You make up sh*t and try to explain it) but I was brought on to the project because of my analytical skills. To be honest, I couldn't care less about this job offer... Then I saw the paycheck. The topic of forced genetic alteration always seemed a bit controversial to me, even slight changes to flies and mice. I had always felt this way, but greed was the electromagnet to my moral compass. I didn't even know what the hell a vocaloid was, I barely knew anything about pokemon! I was too busy worrying about string theory and the origin of the universe to bother with biology and sh*t like that. But the money changed my mind. I like: - physics - art - philosophical discussion But don't come near me with - archeologists - sports - monotheistic religions My master is dolofonos daimonas

My name is Luki Megurine, and I am nineteen years old.
I think my birthday is January 30. On that day, my mom and dad gave birth to a male.
I've been injected with Audino DNA.
People always look at first impressions. Luki is described as the serious type of person that never says anything towards anyone and rarely smiles. He is something seen as being scary but he's nice underneath his layers of seriousness. He is actually good with little kids. Not in the way you're probably thinking Kk. >C
And then back stories are cool. Luki spent most of his life relatively normal. Go to school, learn, study. Make grades according to how his parents wanted. Got a junky car for his birthday. The typical for a person. He wasn't friends with many though. A lot of the kids thought he was mean and scared a few. Once he got into a fight after and another boy hit him on the back of the head. The fight got heated and a few noses were broken along with other bones but Luki won.
On his eighteenth birthday, he went into town with his parents and spent the day eating and playing tourist. The ride back ended in tragedy when a drunk driver hit their car and threw it off of the interstate. His parents both died instantly along with the drunk driver. When the paramedics reached him, he was in critical condition. They told he was going to die until some scientist came and reconfigured his DNA. He became an Audino Gijinka and his hair turned to its pink shade. He is also called a VOCALOID now.

I think my birthday is (7/01). On that day, my mom and dad gave birth to a (Guy)
I've been injected with (Glaceon) DNA.
People always look at first impressions. Eccentric, I guess. I don't really care and I'm mostly off in my own little world, much like Miku. I guess you could say I'm a sadist, but only when people deserve it. If you mess with my friends, I will hurt you.
And then backstories are cool. I was born a regular person, but was stolen from my parents; I'm sure I have brothers and a sister because I hear of them frequently. But I digress, they took me and quickly I learned that my chances of being a poster boy for normality were gone, gone, gone. I found myself feeling as if I was melting; it's kind of funny how in about a couple years you go from liking cold to being Frosty the Snowman. By the way, Happy Birthday!
Anyway, I'm fairly well kept in this tiny cesspool of no morality. Where I am, I'm fairly cool, and I can always see the breath exiting from my mouth. Since my mutation, I have gained Ears, a tail, and a slight blue tint that is not automatically visible unless you look hard. Believe me, I bite, just only when needed. In the science world, I need to to prevent myself from losing my cool, which the term I use is actually in the literal since. I'm hoping to stay in the lab, where what is, what I believe, safer than what lies outside. I don't do mondays, and I certainly don't do deserts.

Lose our way [ You might assume that when in danger, the wise thing to do was panic until you became encased in a comatose of denial and doubt. This was not the case as it would've been for say, the average Joe or Jim going about his daily mantra. Kaito sat in his cage, his breath as always, visible as he sat back in it. Call him Boo Radley, but there was no way he wanted to leave the domain of his iron bars. Touching at them slightly, the blue form toyed with them. He didn't care for metal too much; the alloy and the makeup would break after enough ice, but what was the problem? He was inside the cleansed environment. At his best, he got plenty of food. The other world, the one outside, was full of so many uncertainities. The real world became something of a bad idea over the years.
Kaito's tail swished gently behind him as he drew on the cage with his finger, invisible paint spewing out until everything was covered. Blue was such a clean color to him that he couldn't help but love it, along with white, gray, and black. ]

Michael strolled past the cages, making marks on his clipboard. Nothing ever changes with these guys, and Michael didn't care as long as he still got payed. Michael still had some time to kill after he finished, so he just sat in front of Kaito's cage, staring at him until he reacts.
Man this guy's boring. I bet he wouldn't even emote if someone farted in his face. Michael thought. Come on. Do something.

Michael just grinned and celebrated a bit in his mind. "Nah, mate. I was just killing time since I finished my work early. How do you stay entertained?" he asked, "I never see you do anything whenever I go through here."
Michael was pretty lazy when it came to his job, but even he found ways to entertain himself. That's probably why he was more interested in their lifestyle than their genetics unlike the other scientists he worked with.

Lose our way [ Kaito sat back a bit and looked at him a bit. He had seen him around the lab, Michael. It was Michael, right? He was never quite sure. His perspective on white coats like him was that they had no life outside of the lab, like teachers in the eyes of kids. When you see them outside of class, it completely throws you off to see that your assumptions were completely wrong.
His head couldn't tilt much more, but somehow, it did. "What do I do?" He repeated.
Kaito shrugged. "Dunno, really." He said, looking down at the fingers that were making an invisible painting for his eyes only.

Michael stared at Kaito's hand as he drew on the floor. "Well," Tomas looked from side to side to see if anyone else was around, "Do you like drawing? I could give you some paper if you want." Tomas suggested. He grabbed a few sheets of blank paper from his clipboard and one of his pencils and slipped them through the bars of Kaito's cage.
