He had been lonely for a little while. The dancer had been getting over a broken heart and slowly it was working but yet at the same time it was hard process and he wasn't sure how he was feeling about it. He was starting to feel good but with his cubs grown and them going out and doing their own things Kova was left with really no one to keep him company. He didn't have his partner in dance and song, he didn't know what to do with himself because of that.

He found himself wandering out of his home from time to time because of this. He enjoyed wandering out of the pride when ever he got the chance it was calming and pleasant to be able to see new sights. But he always wandered home at the end of the day. He could never leave his home but he was still enjoying the chance to go out and about for at least a little while. For now he was wandering toward a small lake he knew of that appeared around this time of the year. When The heavy rains had passed it was around for a little while longer before it disappeared. He knew it was still around,, it was a place his motehr used to take him to when he was much younger.

He moved over by the water shore and leaned down to lap some of it up. He sat back on his haunches looking across the water thinking about life and how he was going to go from here, he didn't want to spend any more time thinking about the past, he had to do something else now and that was all to it and he knew it.[ If only he could figure out something. If only something could come this way.

Leaving... seemed like a good option. She was ignored in her pride. That was a good thing. Getting noticed meant she'd be asked questions about everything about her life and she wouldn't be able to answer one of them. She'd never had a boy interested in her, she didn't really have any friends, and honestly? Svetlana felt like if she was the only one left in her pride, and someone walked up, they'd ignore her and turn away. That's how little the girl thought of herself. Who could blame her? Growing up an Amazoness with no sense of prowess and power? That was a piss poor excuse for it. Why couldn't she be like most of the females of her pride?

She hung her head as she walked. She had no idea where she was going, her paws were hurting from walking so much and she was thirsty. Svetlana hadn't found any water all day and had no idea if there was water out here. What if the only water had been in her pride?! Would she die of thirst? Is that why no one left and came back?

It was already evening and the only thing she had to whet her throat was rabbit blood; it was really salty and didn't really help her cotton mouth. Ugh, she needed water, and fast. Turning her head, she colored in embarrassment. How did she not smell that water? There was a figure there, already, but what did she care?

She practically ran up to the water and dumped her whole face in it, gulping at it like it was the most delicious thing in the world. And to her, it was. Svetlana even forgot about the figure that was by the water.

Kova watched slightly confused at the female who ran up to the water, he had never seen her around this area. He was a pride lion however he was used to the lions that were around this area, he had seen them a lot and it was interesting to see this female that he had never seen before. He looked down at the water, he drank some of it and it wasn't too horrible however she must have thought otherwise. He stayed quiet for a few moments not wanting to startle her and make her choke on the water that she was not enjoying. However once she seemed to settle he spoke gently.

"The water is rain water. It's a temporary lake, this water isn't the freshest. It's nice to look at though." He mused as he looked back out at the water before back at her. she was beautiful and she had such natural colors like a lot of his pride. All though different colors were allowed it just seemed to be a gathering of natural colors. It was interesting that was for sure. He looked at her markings and admired them. They were pretty beautiful, she was pretty beautiful.

He paused and turned away before speaking again. "I'm Kova'Rytmi, It is nice to see a new face around here." He said simply not really too sure of what else to say to her. He looked down at his paws feeling a little embarrassed, why couldn't he be as out going as his mother and siblings, or for that matter his children?!

Fresh or not, it was water and it was the most delicious water she had ever tasted. She was never taking it for granted again. Looking up at the voice, she licked water as it fell off her face and then flushed a dark shade and seemed to back up and trip over her own paws all at once, falling in the water with a startled yelp.

Purple eyes stared at the brown male as she regained some composure. Even if it was just a sense of it! "....I... I'm Svetlana.... M-most call me L-lana..." She didn't have a natural stutter, but meeting males mad her so nervous. Males weren't top on her 'things I like' list. At least the one in the Amazon pride. She shifted from paw to paw and then looked down at her paws and moved out of the water, shaking herself off before she looked up at him again.

He was very handsome. He looked nice, too. His tone was gentle and his words weren't mean or hurtful. It made her relax a bit more and she gave a small smile. "S-sorry.... if I interrupted something, or disturbed you.."

The stutter was odd. He had heard about stutters before but never really seen some one who stuttered. It was kind of odd really, but he wasn't going to say anything about it. As he watched the female he was a little surprised to see her nervous he wasn't use to seeing some one that nervous around him. He was normally a very friendly male, when he thought about it he realized that she didn't really know that...

He shook it out of his thoughts when she spoke and he smiled softly at her. "It is very nice to meet you Lana." He flicked his tail around him quietly before speaking to her again. "It really is nice to meet you." He then heard her second comment and shook his head. "Oh no!" He chuckled before motioning his paw toward the water. "Not at all. I'm just here to enjoy the sights and take some time away from my pride to clear my mind." He then smiled at the thought of his pride he loved it a lot. "Do you have a pride?" He asked curiously not very sure what else to say to her, but she was really pretty.

He paused before speaking out loud. "In my pride we have a huge watering hole, it's called lake victoria, the sands are black however it is the freshest water around. And our pride really only welcomes female rogues in with out a problem." He paused and laughed once more. "Really they only get nervous around males and have to check them out before they even think about joining. then again it is a lot of females in charge. But I know they would welcome you if you want some fresh water." Oh god! Now he was rambling!

She listened to the tale of his pride before thinking of how to word her answer so it didn't make her seem like such a spineless coward. Then again, everything would make her seem that way. Wiggling her toes, Svetlana looked to them and gave a shrug. Did she have a pride? In a way yes and in a way no. She half wanted to turn back to go to safety, but she was unhappy there.

"...I didn't fit in so I left it," was all she said about her pride. The there was no stutter right now. She wasn't nervous about answering it like that. That was the honest truth, once it boiled to the surface. She didn't fit in with her mother, her siblings, her pride, her area. It was to harsh for her. She was a gentle soul and all she felt in that pride was disappointment. She wasn't a strong female like they wanted her to be. She knew nothing of the hunts, nothing of their ways. Lana had taken to staying by herself all the time when she was but a cub. Others would pick on her, the males would bully her. She didn't know why either.

Being an outcast with no reason hurt someone's feelings when they were as tender hearted as Lana was.

Kova looked at the female slightly excited to hear what kind of pride that she was had came from. He was a very curious lion and at times he was curious of what kind of prides were out there. He didn't have the heart or the want to leave his pride and see other places he loved his family and his pride much too much. He really loved his pride more than anything else. He paused he wasn't really that sure of what to say to the female after she said that she left her pride.

"I'm really sorry to hear that." He said as he looked down at his paws. He always kit into his pride so he was wondering what it felt like not to fit in with the others around him. He wasn't sure if she was raised there but if he was he couldn't imagine leaving his parents and his family. He really couldn't.

He looked up at the lioness once again and shifted on his feet before speaking to her. "If you need a place to stay for a little you are welcome to our pride. I don't know how you will fit in but it's still welcome to anyone who needs a home at east for a little while." She nodded at the idea it was pretty true, he didn't like the idea of the poor girl wandering around the pride lands not really know what to do or where to go. He wasn't sure if the girl figured out what she was going to do with herself but he knew that he didn't want to turn some one away. The Pridelands were harsh.

She wouldn't go into detail as to why with a lion she'd just met, and his offer struck her as a little odd. In her pride, that wouldn't have happened, she didn't think. Looking back up to him, she took a deep breath and nodded. Being lost, hungry and thirsty made one weak. She was weak right now and all she really wanted now that she wasn't thirsty, was some sleep. Food, she could do without, but sleep, not so much for the moment. ".....Kova... was it? Uhm..."

She wanted to accept. But what if the pride didn't want her there? ".......Do you know anywhere outside of... your pride that I might rest?" She didn't know if she was ready for a new pride just yet. It was hard enough leaving her mother there. She adored her mother with every fiber in her, but she just couldn't ...... stay there anymore.

".....I...I'll hunt and ...... leave your lands tomorrow..." Her ears were pressed down. She didn't like the idea of leaving, but really? Would a pride let her linger outside of their boarders for days?

He looked at her curious of what she was going to say next. There was something interesting about this lioness. As of what he wasn't really that sure yet. He really wanted to find out what was so interesting about the lioness and not only that but he also wanted to know why the lioness was so skittish. He had so many things he wanted to know about the lioness however the only thing was that she seemed like she wanted to leave right away. He paused once again and was about to speak before he heard the lioness speak once again.

"Well, there isn't a place outside the pride but there is one inside the den but very close to the borders." He paused for a moment flicking around his tail before speaking once again. "Oh no!" He said simply shaking his head a few times he didn't like the idea of her leaving right away. "There is no rush at all for you to leave!" He chuckled shaking his head. "You really are welcomed to stay as long as you need He nodded once agian before pausing and looking at her. "I mean that is if you want to, I mean there is space in the pride that is open, just don't be in a rush if you need a few days to feel better!"

His laugh made her it on the inside of her cheeks and look to the side. She didn't want to be laughed out, but he didn't seem to be mean about it. It was just a good nature laugh. Her ears flattened either way, slightly embarrassed. Her smile grew genuine as she listened and then sighed. Good. Because she probably wouldn't hunt too much tomorrow. It would be rest day and then she'd go hunting that night or something to that affect.

Purple eyes blinked as she sighed softly and nodded. "...OK.. I'm.. .....I've never been in another pride.... or by them. I uhm...." She didn't know what to do really. "Can we go now? I'm... tired."

And she looked tired. The longer she wasn't on the move the longer her face grew and the heavier her eyes seemed. She let out a yawn as if proving some point and flushed.

Kova paused for a moment did she really sound like she was okay with staying. Oh he was excited! He was hoping to introduce her to his mother. That would be interesting. His mother had a interesting charm she could get almost anyone to join the pride or at least thats what it seemed like when Kova thought about it. He paused for a moment and then flicked his hair around thinking quietly to himself before she spoke once again. "Yes of course it's not that far away!" He smiled brightly as he started to lead her in the direction. she was really hoping that she was going to enjoy it.
