Thats right on Saturday the 11th of June The Roost is Going Live to Abbey road for an event, it sounds grand ....but its not.
Inspired by our fantastic Beatles pidge, I thought it would be nice to have somthing mildly Beatles flavoured.Recently I saw this webcam feed running from Abbey Road, showing the famous crossing and thought we could have some fun with it:
'......How are we turning this webcam into an event?'
Starting at 11PM NZT Sunday 12th/ 12 Midday GMT Saturday 11th
We will be going to the live webcam feed, you are going to harness your latent psychic abilities and predict the times of the following events:
1. London Bus Goes Over the Crossing
2. Tourists Pose for that Famous Photo
3. Black Cab goes Over the Crossing
4. Pram Goes Over the Crossing
Prize for each correct guess (Or Nearest) is a colour custom pidge
Notes:
You do not Have to be here and watch the webcam at the time, you will be informed if you win, though it would be fun for people to join in and watch for a laugh (I've got a feeling the 'Pram' one might take a while, but we could be surprised)
The time we will start the event will be Midday GMT
If an event is occuring at the time we start running (bang on 12, it will count)
If an event happens and we have two times the same for it, the first person who posted first will recieve the prize.
