Aden was whistling as he headed down the hall toward the front door of the Labs, he was expecting a spawn in today for his sonogram to get a look at the baby that he was carrying. Always exciting since he rather liked to see what the second generation spawn looked like, not to mention that seeing the babies proved that even without this place they could thrive... well... to a point at least with this case. Edes was male and he had gotten into the position of pregnant through magical means and needed the facility to help him to birth the baby as well... but still!

Checking his watch he saw that he had some time before then set time that Edes was meant to show up so the moment he was outside he got his back of smokes out, withdrew one, and lit it up. He would take a few drags but as soon as his patient arrived he would toss it. No reason to risk anyone other then himself with his terrible habit after all. Aden walked over to lean against the wrought iron gate, enjoying his vice while awaiting the arrival of his patient.

Aden looked around for a moment then grinned a bit when he was told that Edes was going to be the only one here today, "Is that so? Just the two of us? I am quite surprised that Cody is allow that after our last goodbye." He said, sounding quite amused. He was sure that the Greed spawn wanted to strangle for the kisses, likely more because he dared to kiss Edes though.

The man unlocked the tall gate around the place, dragging the heavy thing out of the way for Edes and once he was within he closed it behind him and locked it once more, "So, tell me. Have you been taking your vitamins on time? Eating well? And not carrying heavy things?" He asked of Edes, wondering if he were as rebellious as Ciaran had appeared to want to be when he'd given the weight restriction to the Envy spawn. Surely he could better trust a Kindness spawn to obey the order, right? He sure hoped so...

"Come on, you tell me as we go. I have a room set up so that we can get a look at your baby, see how far along he or she is, are you wanting to know the gender? Or do you want it to be a surprise?" He asked, curious about that.

"I see... well I will make sure that you are kept very safe so that he has nothing to worry about." He was sure that Cody wouldn't be terribly pleased to learn that his pregnant wife had come to this place on his own to visit with Aden of all people. He would be sure to look after him and the little one that he was carrying.

He listened closely to what he was saying before he gave a little chuckle and a smile, "I am sure that he still loves you very much even if he does get a little frazzled at times, and I am sure he knows that soon enough the two of you are going to have a little one to tend to." He said, looking over at Edes and his big belly. He was sure that things would get even more interesting come the time that the baby arrived he thought to himself, "Will Cody be coming along when its time to deliver the child?" He asked, curiously. Edes would need to go into surgery and he found himself wondering what the Greed spawn would think of that happening to his wife when he didn't seem to want anyone touching what was his as he put it. He just hoped he wouldn't try to get in the way...

"I will do my best then to learn the gender, the last time I tried for another of the patients here who is carrying... two of them actually, their baby seemed to be a bit shy so I couldn't tell them. Just a warning that I wil try but might not be able to tell for sure, alright?"

Aden led the way to one of the private rooms, opening the door up, "It might be a good thing Cody isn't here today since, to do this, I am going to be asking you to lift up your shirt and I will be touching your belly. I doubt he would be to pleased with that idea." He said in a laughing tone of voice, as though touching his belly was so scandalous.

He motioned to the bed, "If you want to lay down there and uncover your belly we can get to looking at your baby." He told him, going to turn on the machine, allowing the screen to pop up that they would be looking at to see the baby. He was quite excited if the smile on is face was any indication. This was the good part of his job, getting to see the little ones, much better then doing things like stitching up wounds or anything of the like.

Once Edes laid down he picked up a bottle, showing him, then gave a smile, "This will help the machine I am using but it will also be a little cold, just a warning he said before he poured the needed amount onto Edes's belly, smoothed it over the skin, the reached out to pick up the hand held device for the machine to press it to Edes's belly, moving it around for a moment before his lips turned up into a smile, "Here we go, see this?" He asked, lifting his free hand out to move his hand over it, "This is the head here, arms, legs, and... ahaha, a little tail and wings." He said, making sure that he saw it all.

He gave a smile as he looked back at Edes for a moment, then back to the screen once more, "Lets see... gender is... haha, look at that. Seems that Cody was guessing right about her being a... hrm... wait." He paused a moment, head tilting to one side in a thought manner before he started to move the device around a little, a thoughtful look on his face as he did so.

"Yes, it is quite funny that neither of you have a tail but it seems that your daughter does. Must be from the grandparents." He said as he moved it along, "And no problem, it was odd it looked for a moment as though she had two tails but that can't be right." Though he had seen some pretty strange traits in the various spawn now that he thought about it, it could be possible, yes?

He continued to move the device around for a moment more before he gave a little whistle, "Ahhh, alright. I see." He murmured, looking over at Edes before he touched the screen once more, "You get to tease Cody about only being half right, this here... this is your son."

Edes's excitement was far to adorable, made the Doctor give a bright smile as he looked the pair over again, finding it amusing that one of the twins, the girl with the wings, seemed to be trying to show off the most for them. He manipulated the device along his stomach for a moment to make sure to get the best look at each of them, getting a picture of them, "Alright, there we go."

"Yes, they both look quite healthy and are getting quite big. I think that your pregnancy is pretty far along so I want you to keep a very close eye on everything, and I will see you back here in a couple weeks at the most." He said, said to him, setting the device he was holding aside and tapped a button on the screen. He picked up a towel and wiped the gel away from Edes's belly so that he could pull his shirt down one more, "There we go. All done and..." He reached over to pick up the two pictures that were printed from the machine, "You can take these home to show to your hubby."

Rising to his feet he offered a hand to Edes to help the man up to his feet, not sure if, given the size of his belly, if he were able to do so on his own easily.

Aden couldn't help but to grin, "I am sure he will be thrilled... or he will have a heart attack, one or the other." He said with a grin, leading the way to the front gate so that he could allow Edes out and gave him a smile, "Be careful on your way home and make sure to get a lot of rest, its good for you and for your babies." He told him, giving him a gentle pat on the shoulder, then allowed the cute spawn to go on his way.

"I will see you in a few weeks Edes!" He called after him, giving a wave, then after the sloth spawn was out of sight he got himself out another cigarette to indulge in before heading back inside the facility.
