Sherryl

Sherryl is a loving and focussed coordinator, but she was once a spoilt brat who only wanted to get into the pokémon contests scene because her parents forbade it.

Now in her fourth year on the contests tour, Sherryl has taken to using flying types, having fallen in love with their grace and style.

Although she has only reached the Grand Festival once, more and more people are taking notice of her as she hones her skills and matures into a wonderful coordinator.

Quentin

Quentin has long studied pokémon coordinating – travelling across regions, watching winning performances and following the best coordinators – but until now has never entered a contest.

While he'd never argue that any one type stands over all others, Quentin is a strong advocate for normal types and has learned that if trained correctly they can be formidable opponents.

Having spent so much time learning all he can about contests, Quentin usually knows best and therefore often looks down on others—especially those just starting out on their journeys.

Gwen

Gwen specialises in electric types, using their abilities to put on dazzling shows which led her to the Grand Festival in her first year as a professional coordinator, and every year since.

Thanks to her moderate success over her six years of competing Gwen has garnered a cult following of loyal fans who swoon over her every performance on a contest stage.

She handles admirers coolly, brushing them out of her path in a way that leaves them awed, though those who despise her – jealous of her talent – see her methods as rude and ungrateful.

Trey

Trey is a natural coordinator with abounding talent, able to think up ingenious attacks in an instant and have his steel-type pokémon implement them perfectly on their first try.

Having appeared on the scene from nowhere, Trey was just a part of the crowd until he beat Madeline to the first ribbon of the 2011 contest season, flooring her pokémon with ease.

Since then many have tried to learn more about him, but he doesn't seem to exist off the stage; nobody knows where he came from, why he became a coordinator or – most importantly – how he got so good.

Madeline

Madeline is a seasoned coordinator who won the Ribbon Cup twenty years ago and retired from the stage in order to travel the globe, but has now mysteriously returned to competition.

Specialising in dragon types since her return, Madeline is still learning how best to utilise their skills in contests, but even so she will always be one of the favourites to win the cup.

Although always easy-going and ready to teach in the past, Madeline has changed over the years and age seems to have made her cold and determined—or perhaps there's something more behind it.
