Sanctuary
The year is 1885 in the country of Kalamar, and peace calmly rolls across the country side. Everything changed in two years, and peace became fear in the blink of an eye. Late 1885, around October, deep in the forests of Kalamar a demonic seal broke. A Hellgate had opened and an explosion with the magnitude of three nuclear bombs went off in a small cemetery in the forest. At the epicenter of the blast nothing but smuldering earth, and charred trees were left. A shockwave of demonic force rocked the country. Over the next few weeks people began to notice the animals in the country never came out during the day, and their appearance became gruesome, and sickly. The demonic shockwave had changed the animals, and some of the plants turning them into horrific beasts with a thirst for bloodshed. As the monthes past more and more beastly attacks ocurried by nightfall. The humans began to construct a safe house from the attacks in late 1886. It was then that some of the humans realized they had been effected by the demonic shockwave aswell. Some of the humans gained unique powers such as, power of the elements, or mental telekinesis, and other powers. These special humans began to use their powers to fight off the terrifying beasts in the forests, and they began to lead people back to the safe house. These special humans dawned the name "Hunters" as they bravely went out into the unknown searching for other survivors. It is now early 1887, around April, and the Sanctuary is completely constructed. The humans have a chance for survival, they just need to survive each night, and pray each day that their Sanctuary will hold.
