Standing all alone in the middle of what appeared to be a derelict bathroom, Kioni stood there, looking small and frail among the broken glass and tilted stalls, the door keeping the rest of the corridor out long vanished to who knows where. Not seeming to mind the slightly musty odor coming from the mostly-broken toilets behind her, she stared with the utmost fascination at the remnants of mirror that still clung to the wall above the sinks, moving her arm slightly in order to watch the strange way her tattoos shone in the smooth surfaces. Never had she been able to figure out why she could not see anything in a mirror save for her tattoos, while the rest of the reflection was unobstructed fog, same as anything that she could not properly see. She had wandered in here purely by accident, and now felt as though she had stumbled upon the greatest discovery one could find in this awful, miserable place.

Whether it was night or day, the essence of the Asylum always had a sinister feel to it. Normally in his own little world shielded by his large draconic wings, Lucian would be doodling an alternate reality. His style of art.... very loose, edgy, perhaps even crazier than the Asylum itself. No wonder the boy decided to stay here. It must be simply.... inspirational to say the least.

But enough about that! There is business to be settled..... the business of finding a working bathroom. A bathroom you say? Trust me.... it's harder than it looks. The Asylum simply fails at maintaining its facilities, I mean why would they? The people running it are not benevolent benefactors no..... They are perhaps even more monstrous than the strangest creature around.

Creeping around, Lucian's every foot step could be heard, it didn't even take very sensitive ears to note when someones walking. Especially considering how worn out the floor boards of the mansion are. Door by door, filled Lucian with disappointment. The bathrooms ranged from vomit, blood, to simply being clogged up with who knows what! It wasn't until he passed a room with a girl just.... standing there did he begin to wonder. Could it be? A working toilet?!?!

No... that foul odor meant it was another dead end. A little bit of disappointment filled his gut accompanied by a silly potty dance hop. Sighing, he crouched over. He REALLY had to go. "Excuse me miss.... Sorry to bother you.... but is there.... even a small chance that there is a working toilet in the room you're in?" he asked with a glimpse of hopefulness in his voice. I mean.... there had to be a reason why the girl was in there right?

Hearing the footsteps long before the other had approached, Kioni whirled a bit and turned her head toward the door in time to see the stranger that stood within the opening. Her eyes widened as the other's inquisitive sound waves showed her that the other had wings; huge, clawed wings like a bat. What a strange bunch of people living here in this frightening old building!

Still, it was immediately obvious to her what this person wanted; the small hop was unmistakable. She wished she could tell him that it was, but she had not come in here to use the facilities, and had no idea of knowing if any of them worked. "Oh, hello there. It's not any trouble at all, but I'm afraid I have no idea if any of these bathrooms work. I found this place by accident, you see, not in search of a toilet. But if you need to.....go, I'd be more than happy to step out and let you see if any of them work." That being said, she looked down and carefully stepped between the puddles of stagnant water and shards of glass, surprised that she had come in here to begin with and avoided all of these obstacles without much thought.

Blinking for a moment, he thought about contemplating how one finds a bathroom by accident and not be aware if any of the toilets worked. But sadly, he just didn't have the time. Watching the girl make her way around the rather dangerous debris, he kind of wanted to help her out and just fly her around that stuff... but it seemed like she could manage. As he held his breath, waiting for the girl to step out, he bounced again.

When she finally made her way out, he bowed quickly and said, "Thank you miss!" and flew right into the facilities. Without much thought, he scanned around. Hm.... well it had some stuff still in it.... but maybe.... If he just flushed it, it would prove to be working. Disturbed to touch the flush handle, he raised his foot up and gently tapped it down. Fluuuuuuuuuuussssssssssssh! Victory was his and he let it be known with a silly fist pump while a "Whoooo!" sound echoed through the walls.

As he did his business, another flush could be heard. Making his way to the sink, life didn't want to give him a break. The water was barely running! Frowning, he waited for the water seep into a full cup in his hands before he rubbed them together. With how unsanitary everything was, he often wondered why people just didn't drop dead from disease and filth. Once he finished rinsing his hands, which took way longer than it should have, he used his elbow to close the water and shook his hands wildly in order to air dry them.

Making his way out of the smelly bathroom, he stopped and remembered there was a girl he met just a moment ago. Was she still there maybe? And if so.... was she dangerous? Nah... she seemed like a nice person. Peering slowly out the door way, like a child afraid of the oogie boogie monster in a closet, he checked and wondered where she might be now.

As the boy with the wings had rushed in to hopefully find a suitable facility, Kioni really had no other thought in mind but to remain in the hallway outside the bathroom door. Perhaps she would wait until he departed, if all he wanted was a suitable toilet, and then she could return to staring at the mirrors, contemplating her time here and watching the glimmer of her tattoos as they danced about in her vision, unhindered by the usual limitations her eyes had.

She smiled as she heard the flush followed by the exuberant cheer; he must have needed to use it very much indeed! Such behaviour would probably be looked on as silly by her elders, but if there was one thing she had learned quickly in her time here, it was that you found joy any way you could, and it was never, ever silly. She listened as she heard the trickle of running water and guessed that the other must be trying to wash his hands. She remembered the hardly perceptible echoes that had helped light up the bathroom before her visitor had come into view; it had highlighted the poor condition of the faucets. Sone were caked with something chalky, others were broken off altogether, jagged holes atop cracked and broken sinks, glass littering the edges like hardened and dangerous dropets of water. She would have to 'see' which faucet had actually worked and save it for future reference.

She watched asthe boy emerged, peering carefully out into the corridor as htough something evil lurked there. Which it probably did, but luckily all that there was in the general vicinity was the two of them; her ears confirmed that readily enough. Smiling in a friendly manner at him, she offered a small wave. "I am glad you found one that works."
