Tobeko bustled about in his area trying to clean it up while the babies were asleep, casting an eye in the direction of the napping area every so often as he went to make sure they were all still there. Small puffs of dust poofed into the air as he dusted a bit with his feathers, sorting out what was too broken to be useful and what was too useful to be disposed of and what was to be disposed of but perhaps at a later time because it could be useful. He carefully dusted around the collection of little colorful orbs that broke so easily when dropped but were apparently used in some kind of game he's seen the humans playing early on the music day before all the big humans came. He loved his little color orbs and sometimes when the babies were restless and fidgety he would hold one up to the light from the colorful window with the pidge-human creatures painted on it and smile as he watched the young ones stair in amazement at the colorful lights it cast on the floor. He finished dusting and began to sort through his orb collection, making sure each and every one was there.
"Purple sparkly orb, check... greeny bluish sparkly orb, check... orangish flamey sparkly orb, che-...? Orangish flamey sparkly orb...? Oh no!" he gasped and began frantically looking through the rest of his stuff for the fire colored marble he'd found very long ago, it was his favorite.

The North had finished looking after several chicks for the day and was lazily stretching his wings in the high beams of the ceiling when he couldn’t help but notice a pidge playing with little shiny objects. He didn’t want to yell down to him, he'd just got his charges to sleep and he knew how much of a pain getting them to settle could be, but North was terribly nosey. He fluttered down a little clumsily and sauntered over with a grin "Ooh interesting!" He crooned, looking at the way they reflected the light slightly. "Are these human things?" He inquired as the other pidge looked quite flustered about something, North was a bit oblivious to the birds worry, and he really could be like a big dumb rock sometimes.

"Y-yes... I collect them..... sparkly orbs" Tobe replied with his stutter as he looked around. "An-and i've misplaced my f-f-favorite one!"
He hobbled over to pile of miscellaneous things and began to shift through it looking for any glint of the orangish flamey sparkly orb. "C-could you help me look for it?" he asked looking back at The North, "I-if you don't mind, that is. I-i-it's really very important to m-me" He glanced to where the babies were still sound asleep before going back to looking.

"sparkly orbs, they are nice arnt they" North kept looking at them glint, "What colour's the one youre looking for?"
He turned to see the other pidges feathery rear in mid air as he was intently rummaging. North tottered to a cardboard box and with a couple of wing strokes flew up and landed in the box with a soft crunch of paper, he was carefully shuffling paper from side to side inside the box, 'why was paper so rustly and noisy?'
carefully peeling back paper, he was left looking at a glass covered rectangle showing and image of humans, this was no good, not useful for anything. All the things in the box felt to be the rectangles.

"I-i-its's orange and r-red and yel-yellow.... L-like Fire only c-cold.." Replied Tobeko as he moved to yet another pile. This pile was of all kinds of small trinkets figurines and broken little toys he'd collected, he shifted through the maze of small green human statues and a glint of something orange and shiny caught his eye.
Excited, he hurrily uncovered the rest of the object but to his dismay it was just the orangeish sweet rock ((lollipop)) he'd found a few days before. He gave it a lick before setting it beside and shifting through the other little human statues he had. "I-i had it o-out last Mus-music day and i don't r-reme-member where I p-put it."

"Mabye it rolled somewhere?" He saw how prone to wandering off the little balls were. "I hope no-one pinched it, these are awfully pretty" North knew others would treasure things so unusual and beautful. He shifted out of the box with a soft rustle and started to look amongst the boxes, in any cracks and nooks the ball could have rolled away. He scrabbled and fluffed as he shimmied between cardboard, he really needed to slim down a bit, he huffed as he breathed in.
"I tell you where I've seen orbs like those before though" He remembered somthing he'd seen once before. "You ever been to a witch ever for fortune-telling?" North had been several times, he was a bit supersticious, and believed in what most pidge dissmissed as nonscence, it probably was really. "Well.... I've heard some of them use those to peer into, I think they see shapes of your future in them" He hadnt just 'heard' he'd seen it before first hand, but he didsnt want this pidge to think he was silly.

"R-really?" said Tobeko looking to where the other pidge was, "I-i just collect them b-because the shine ma-makes the little ones h-h-happy. And I-i like it too." he went back to looking. "D-don't sup-p-pose a witch might have cl-claimed it?"
He hobbled over to where The North was and looked around, just then he spotted another glint on the floor. He hobbles to it and saw his very favorite marble caught in a crack in the floor. "Oh no.... oh-oh nooo... I-it's the orangish flamey sparkly orb, i-it's c-caught in the fl-floor!" he tried to stay quiet for the sleeping young but his dismay made it difficult. "If-if we try to g-get it, it will f-f-fall to the mus-music room!"

"Nah, prolly not, just thought it was funny thats all" He snerked as he spoke "Wondered if you might have been planning to become a witch!" He giggled and snorted, bieng a witch was very much a girls-only job, the thought of a male witch had North in stitches. Well at least he amused himself.
Tobeko had noticed somthing, he became very agitated. Sure enough when North looked through the crack the little marble had dropped into it so far it could only drop through and down into the noise-room below.
"Eggh if we tap or budge it or anything it'll drop wont it?" He looked through the gap and wondered, 'If it did drop though it was quite a drop, would the little ball smash?' "If it does drop, how strong are those balls? Could it shatter?"

"Y-yes... sparkly o-orbs are v-v-very breakable..." he sighed as he looked at his treasured orb with a forlorn expression. His beautiful and most favorite of orbs was going to be smashed!
He looked below to the music room, trying to see anyway he could save the orb from it's fate and he noticed that the crack was over one of the long-seats the humans sat in. He saw the padded red cushions and hope crept back into his sad mind. "I-if we can m-m-make it fall on the long-seat I-i-it might n-not bre-break." he pointed out. "B-b-but we aren't a-allowed down there... H-h-h-happy H-hour said..." The hope began to fade again, he was not one to disobey the rules, though his love for his sparkly orb was almost enough to overlook that standard. It was his most very sacred treasure after all.

Run away train had been out on another busy day of trying to find anything useful to the flock. He did love exploring and finding discarded trinkets, and today wasn't a bad haul! In his claws, he had ha shiny swirly coil of metal. It wasn't long, but it was pretty ridged and springy. Though what Train hadn't thought of was how he was going to land with this shiny bit of treasure. Oh dear. He returned to the roost, and decided, he might as well just go for it! He lifted his legs, holding the spring out and flapping, he attempted to land on the spring. Of course the bird had underestimated just how this would work out. Landing on the metal, it compressed, and then extended again under the bird's light weight, sending Train, and the spring, tumbling beak over tail along one of the rafters before he lay in a heap, half trapped in the spring. Oh dear, and he tumbled into the nursery! There were babies sleeping! Well, no one was awake just yet. Maybe he could roll and... Oh, there were a couple older of the flock! What were they looking at? Something interesting? Something Train had to see, of course. He began scooting closer, the metal clicking lightly against the wood as he flailed to get closer. "Psssst, hey, what's going on? Can I see too?"

"Eggh still it'd probably be better to catch it it wouldnt it?" He looked at the little ball glinting in the crack sadly, It really would be a shame if it broke though.
another pidge had taken interest in them just staring at the floor and tottered over. He was a very bright and bold looking pidge.
"Oh hey, its this glass ball of his, North motioned to the other nanny, its worked its way down there and we cant get it out without going downstairs"
He budged over to see if the other pidge could offer any solution
"Here have a look down there, see what you think"

Train blinked several times. "Pretty glass ball, right?" Not like there were many ugly ones. It was the shiny glittery things that caught everyone's fancy. With some more wiggling and flapping, Train managed to wiggle most of the way out of the spring without too much noise and came over to look at the poor trapped glass thingy, the spring still stuck to his leg. He tilted his head one way, then the other, looking at it. "What a dilemma." He said while thinking. He wasn't big on the inventing, that wasn't his job. He only brought useful things, they made things that were amazing. "I wonder if we can find something to make the crack bigger. If we make the crack bigger, can't we just pull it out? Someone had to have made something for making cracks bigger. Or maybe something sticky to just pull it out?"

Tobeko looked around for something that could help out but saw nothing, not until he looked to the newcomer pidge's foot did an idea strike him. "Y-y-your shiny coil m-might help." he said. "I-if we c-c-could some how h-hang a hook or sticky t-thing from it we c-could maybe pull up the Sp-sp-sparkly orb."
Tobe had wanted to be an inventor in his younger days but a damaging collision with the window had left him unable to form big ideas very often, and he was better at using his skills to make thing to help care for the babies so a nanny had been his calling. He hobbled back over to the pile of green human statues and pulled out his sweet rock, he had seen little humans break open sweet rocks and knew that some had sticky stuff inside. He hurried back over to the other two and held out the orange lollipop. "T-this m-m-might have st-sticky stuff ins-s-side. If we c-could break it open w-we could use it!"

((Aw poor tobe, is that why he has the stutter?))
North watched as the brightly coloured male struggled with the coil, he diddnt seem to mind it too much. It must happen to these scavenger types a lot, he mused.
"Sounds like a good idea"
He looked at the little orange blob, interested, human things were always very strange and exciting, especially thier food. North was quite a large bird, not comletely unfit, but pretty heavy-set, he liked to call it big-boned, and he would be the first to admit he was a great fan of food, of any kind.
"You want a wing getting that off? or can you manage?"
He said to the scavenger, with the coil in question around his leg.

((I hope nobody minds me joining! <3 )) Breadcrumb was new to this area, he wasn't quite sure where he was, or for that matter what he should be doing. He'd had pretty good luck so far, finding the tasty snack which he was named after. But he was lonely, and needed to find someone else to hang around. He didn't like to be alone, it made him nervous. And when he got nervous, he got fidgety. When he got fidgety he knew he didn't look cool, and most importantly when he didn't look cool, he had no chance of finding a nice lady Pidge to settle down with. However, in the middle of his worrying he noticed something out of the corner of his eye, he thought he saw something...Were those other Pidges? He wasn't sure..... Muttering to himself, he tried to spy on the others while seeming as nonchalant as possible, and failing at both.
