This is a sword guild.. so I'm thinking people will agree with me on this...
Okay. Does anyone else think it's kind of stupid that in all the horror movies the bad guy uses stuff like a hook(I Know What You Did Last Summer), or an ice pick, or a butcher knife, stuff like that? I mean, honestly, If some psycho busted into my room with some wimpy "weapon" like that, I'd grab my machetes and wail on the creep.

it does seem like they have really small weapons. But i think there is some kind of unwritten rules of horror.
eg: the smaller someones weapon is, the more likely a person is to survive, the journalists always die, everyone takes the dark scary alley etc.

they take the dark scary alleys cus it looks to scary for anybody to go down.(lame but true) and they split up cus they are to stupid to know two against one always wins.

It's kind of ironic though how non-horor movies have the beter weapons though, I mean; if someguy came a you with a meat cleaveryou would tear him apart with a decent weapon that all American people seem to have in movies. (quite often a baseball bat). If, however, a man came at you with a no-dachi you would piss yourself and run (unless you know how to handle a sword [or baseball bat] properly properly).

Now,On Paracite Eve the video game,the weapons are pretty cool when you're facing Eve(Or whoever it on PE2..) that don't make sameful ..as well as "resendent evil"...

its the unwritten rule of horror movies but ya...if some one did bust into my room i have my boken by my bed and well its not made of the strongest wood saddly but anyways i sleep by the window so i would break it over there head then stab them with what i have in my had becuse remeber whenit shatters its made good for splatters

Man, if someone attacked me like that, I got some s**t by my bed I'd just throw at them then run to grab a pole thing that was from my bed frame and fend em off with it. This is because I own no swords. crying

eh i sleepo by the wall with the window on the other side of the room. my reverse blade is under my mattress and my knife is under my pillow and i have a sword on my wall next to my bed so anybody that trys that with me is screwed.

You guys are crazy,but I deffinetly feel where you guys are comin from!!!^_^me myself the closest thing that I have as a weapon in my room is a real expensive light sabor you know the good almost authentic hard kind and some silly string so i'd spray him and then beat him down with the sabor!!!!!!

I don't know, some horror movies have big weapons. Like the chainsaw texas massacre, I don't think a chainsaw is a small weapon.

Yeah, but it's not exactly fast or accurate either. I could beat the Texas Chinsaw massacre guy without too much effort.
