Aerobic Fads - A body is a beautiful thing, but Julia doesn't want to take any chances when she's sitting across from an interviewee. She is always on top of the latest new aerobic fads, trying all kinds of strange exercises in the hopes that one day she will not only stumble across the perfect routine, but that she'll stumble across it first. Won't all her friends be jealous?

Fashion - Another thing near and dear to Julia's heart is trendy fashion. However, she's usually a season or two behind on each trend - her wallet can't afford anything but the sale racks. Buying up last season's fashion has forced her to learn a little bit of sewing and tailoring to make even the most disagreeably-proportioned outfit fit her.

A Good Cup Of Coffee - This is probably the only thing that Julia doesn't look for the latest of. Way back in college, she perfected a combination of coffee, milk, and foam and it's the only way she'll take her coffee these days. She's happy to make it for others, though the consensus outside her earshot is that her doctored up cappuccino is so over-sweetened it could send a perfectly healthy person into diabetic shock, and so over-caffeinated it could promptly revive them.

Virtues:

Creative - In a business where stretching the truth pays the bills, Julia knows how to spice up her brand of news with just the right amount of out-of-context quotes, half-truths, and careful omissions. She applies this same puzzle mentality to every challenge in front of her. Even the most mundane tasks she will make unnecessarily complicated to prove that her unnecessary complications make it a much more interesting story to tell later.

Persistent - Julia doesn't quit easily, and she doesn't take no for an answer. She's actually pretty outspoken, even causing a scene when she's not getting her way. She's the one tying up the phone lines of a customer service representative, arguing with the hostess about her reservation, and otherwise making a show of a simple mistake until the other person backs down out of stress or even embarrassment.

All Ears - Julia loves to talk, but Julia also loves to listen. There's a lot you can learn from people just from having a chat with them, even a complete stranger. Julia never underestimates the power of words, and is more than happy to copy yours down for later very discreetly. Tell her more about it! But in actuality, she's a good listener when it comes to more sensitive issues. Within her circle of friends, she's always happy to take a call at any hour of the day or night and be the listener to someone else's problems. Because sometimes, that's all a person needs.

Flaws:

Gossip - Julia's habits have cost her a lot over the years. Lying is not acceptable behavior any more than it is an acceptable journalism practice. She's alienated all her old friends in attempts to impress new ones with wild stories, and her overdramatic articles have gotten her fired from so many journalism jobs that the only one in the city that that would take her would only take her if she wrote and worked under a false name.

Amateur - Jack of all trades, master of none. Julia's not terribly good at anything she tries to do, even though she puts her all into it. Her lack of experience puts her in a bad place when paired with her overconfidence. Maybe one day she'll stop looking for abridged guidance on Wikipedia and eHow, and start doing actual research into what she wants to do. Maybe.

Vindictive - Sometimes there are people that don't back down when Julia gets on their case. This is an act of war in Julia's world. She is not above petty vengeance - probably one of her favorite things to do at her current job is slander a person's otherwise good name behind the safety of her fake one. But pride goes before a fall, and Julia's never quite satisfied and always has to raise the stakes to continue a fight long past the sensible stopping point.


Current Occupation: Tabloid journalist for The Siren

Business Description: The Siren is a very disreputable tabloid exclusive to Destiny City. It would have been condemned to obscurity if not for the rise in strange local news, vaulting it back into the known media. After all, even the TV reporters are starting to sound pretty ridiculous. The Siren's approach to all the superheroes and supervillians in Destiny City is to always cast them in a negative light, capitalizing on their collateral damage and disruption to sell a few extra magazines.

Clothes: Basically this : a sweater coat, scarf, shirt, pants and tall heeled boots. Boots should be this in black. Scarf should be sea green to match her eyes. CC jacket color.

Julia sounds interesting however, there's a few things I see you might want to consider.

First off we already have a Weaver family. Yvette's last name is Weaver, in case you were unaware of that...

Persistent sort of sounds more like a flaw to me than a virtue. It's good she doesn't quit easy but the way it's written it and the fact she ends up embarrassing people, possibly even those people she's gone to eat with might be something you want to reconsider. Just for the fact it does sound really harsh.
