Zirconia lived for spending her free time keeping tabs on her senshi, even more so with the current goings on in the BMC, though she was chickening out, lurking around other members and decided to pester Kallichore, hoping she wouldn't be turned away. It was difficult to tell anymore with how high the emotions were running at the last meeting.
"Kallichore!" Zirconia called out as soon as she sensed the signature in her pursuit of the cadet, hopping down from her perch to spy the senshi of madness, tail swishing in a vague glimmer of hope that she'd be okay with Zirconia tagging along for the night for company. Normally Zirc wasn't very open to new cadets and wasn't until they'd been around for several meetings but desperate times called for less picky measures, and Kallichore's first impression was that she was at least a smart one, so the cat didn't mind speeding up the process of warming up, especially when she was so desperate for company.
She didn't say much beyond getting her attention, just waiting eagerly for her reaction. She wouldn't push herself on her if Kallichore wasn't up for it, but she was also watching for the slightest invitation to stay.

While Kallichore was still learning the ropes, she'd found that through intense training, she'd attained super senshi status - something that came with a more powerful attack and more tattered clothing. She was beginning to wonder if there was some cosmic joke being played on her; that some deity upstairs simply wanted her to look like an escapee from a mental facility. During the time she'd spent at the BMC compound, she was a quiet and diligent worker. Worry oftentimes played on her face in private with Serpentarius. After the meeting they both attended, they grew anxious at the stability of the court. The Inner Sanctum was at odds with one another, something that did not happen in a stable group. If the BMC crumbled, Kallichore wasn't sure where she'd go.
She was deep in thought when she heard the cat's voice. The feline was still very unfamiliar to the cadet, and her voice came off at first as completely unrecognizable. Confusion made the gray haired senshi turn to find the feline behind her. Turning to face the cat, Kallichore wondered why someone from the Inner Sanctum would come to see her, aside from Ares and Albali. Those two were the ones who accepted her into the organization in the first place and acted as leaders.
Kallichore realized that while the cat knew her name, she didn't know the cat's. Kneeling down to face her on a more even level, the senshi found herself somewhat confused. "Yes...?" Without a name to call the cat, she didn't want to be disrespectful and call her 'kitty'.

"Zirconia," She stated with a bit of an annoyed tone, trying to remember that she couldn't hold it to a newbie cadet to remember everyone's name by heart just yet.
And then she just sat down, tail swaying behind her expectantly as she stared with a long, expectant silence. She didn't have any official business to take up with her because she wasn't there on business in the first place. She was just being nosy and clingy and Kallichore hadn't had to deal with those annoyances yet.
Which made it hard to put a dignified spin on why she was there in the first place. "Well, uh... Are you going to patrol?" It was better than awkward silence, right?

The cadet nodded with a slight frown. "Zirconia." she repeated, adding it to memory. Weren't Negaverse agents named after gems or minerals or something? Obviously things worked differently in Zirconia and Ares' world than they did here. Kallichore had a lot to learn. "Patrol? Perhaps. I was more concerned with an operation that was coming up. I'd like to make sure everything is accounted for before we put it into action."
By the BMC rules, she had to bring up part of the plan with the Inner Sanctum. They had to find out what to do in case the group found and captured Negaverse officers. After what happened with Operation Rota, bringing a Negaverse officer anywhere near other senshi was a bad idea. At least for the inexperienced like herself and Serpentarius. Their goal was information and infiltration. That was it.
"Are you checking in on us?"

"Yes. Well, no," Zirconia's knee jerk reaction probably wasn't the best way to explain herself, she realized, and decided to clarify one important detail. "Not on official ISS business." Geez, did this senshi ever have a full time guardian before.
"Oooh, operation," She said, closing the distance from respectable to maybe a little too friendly. "I haven't heard of an operation. What are you planning?"

The super senshi nodded and made herself comfortable with her feet tucked beneath herself. She only thought it polite to sit on Zirconia's level. "Yes, I'm surprised the others didn't tell you." Kallichore thought information traveled in the blink of an eye within the upper tiers of the organization. Tilting her head, the senshi explained further. "There is a taco shop of particular interest due to its recent bouts of Negaverse activity. Serpentarius and myself, along with a few others, are set to investigate soon."
The teen spoke more like a military strategist than a cadet, but that was simply how she thought about things. Since Operation Rota did not go off without a few hitches (and deaths), Serpentarius was wary as well. The air between the two senshi was electric in excitement and anxiety. "I will remain on the outskirts, watching while Serpentarius infiltrates the establishment by pretending to be an interested civilian." Kallichore took to making a small drawing by tracing her finger in the dust on the floor, marking out the perimeter of the taco stand and its surrounding areas. "I'll be in this area. Once she's inside, myself and the others will go in and find out just what is behind the vast amount of disappearances."

"Maybe they did," Zirconia said passively and leaving it at that. She wasn't the most attentive when it came to talk about what cadets were up to, often regarding them as the 'babies' of the groups and dismissing 90% of what they did outside of larger scale operations as child's play.
She watched Kallichore explain the plan, eyes carefully following her diagram in the sand with a nod. "Very interesting. You two came up with this yourselves?" She asked, sounding impressed even.
Kallichore was definitely on a good list in Zirconia's infinite list of categorized people. If she fed her as much as Euterpe he might even be out of the running for secret favorites.
"What if there's an ambush here separating you and the others from Serpentarius?" She asked, mostly just quizzing. Overall, she thought it was a decent plan that was both ambitious an an appropriate venture for the two of them.

The super senshi nodded in the affirmative before amending her statement to include further (and truthful) information. "A mercenary whose name escapes me at the moment explained that the restaurant is of particular interest due to suspicious disappearances. Serpentarius and I came up with the rest." After tracing the final outlines of the designated area, Kallichore leaned back to examine her work. The two cousins had been by the area a few times to investigate, pretending like they were walking home from school. Melinda borrowed one of her cousin's Meadowview outfits to blend in and not attract any unwanted attention. Two girls from Meadowview would not be as conspicuous as a well-to-do girl from Crystal.
"If something should come between Serpentarius and I, I will take whatever course of action necessary to ensure her safety." The super senshi frowned vigorously. She thought she had covered all the possible bases, but Zirconia was good to ask these questions. In truth, Kallichore would stop at nothing to save her cousin. She refused to lose anyone else in her family, blood, marriage or otherwise. The senshi was beginning to discovered a ruthlessness within herself she didn't know she possessed. "I've stopped a corrupted super senshi in her tracks before as a regular senshi. I think my power packs enough punch to stop someone much more easily now."

"Ah... good to know," Zirconia pondered, just scanning and rescanning the rough diagram and committing it to memory.
"You're very impressive, for a cadet, I can see why Ares saw potential in you," She said with a sage nod, trying to pretend that there was never a time she wasn't 100% behind Kallichore's induction to the BMC rather than apathetic until her attention was grabbed. But Kallichore's ruthlessness was something Zirconia could sympathize with.
For the most part, she was a neutral cat, apathetic to the war and humans and their silly problems, but the parallels were her adopted family, and fierce loyalty could make one passionate and bloodthirsty for any cause when there was enough love to fill in the blanks.
"Would you feel terribly imposed on if I came along?"

"Not at all, Zirconia. Perhaps you could assist. You're much smaller than the rest of us and much less likely to be detected..."
Kallichore's voice dropped to a mumble at the end, indicating she was thinking intensely about this proposition. A cat on their side could prove to be the tide-turning device they didn't know they had. Zirconia could enter into the building relatively undetected and it seemed as though cats possessed the same glamor that protected a senshi's identity. Whether or not this was true was anyone's guess and was based purely on speculation on the senshi's part. She didn't recognize Guardian Cats right off the bat, so she assumed they had to have some kind of magic to protect them from getting snatched.
It was rude of her to assume Zirconia would be willing to take on a role beyond that of an adviser, to which Kallichore blinked out of her plan-obsessed stupor. "Ah, that is... if you would like to engage further than just observing." The last thing she wanted was to insult a prominent member of the Court. Ares would frown on that intensely. "Thank you for the compliment."
Mentioning why Ares saw potential in the senshi made her heart swell with pride. Indeed, Ares was a hero to Kallichore, being able to do what she did with such a level head. Ares proposed plans like no one before her, and no one since. She wanted desperately to make a difference somehow.

"I could," Zirconia pondered, frowning a little. She was something of a larger cat, at least a little larger than the average housecat and that sometimes brought attention from strange people trying to pet her or something equally detestable.
"I may be of some assistance, though," She added. She did have fairly strong senses for detecting enemies, and while she could also be detected by captains or generals, ********* had once described her starseed as 'neutral', so she had the advantage of not instantly being honed in on as a 'good' cat.
"If anything I'd be able to point out enemies' locations the moment they power up and their ranks. At least you would not unwittingly end up cornered by a general. I'm afraid other than that I'm not much help, unless you're requesting my presence as a civilian." Which would make her even more useless as a guardian, but being on two legs had it's own advantages over being an animal.

One thing Kallichore was not introduced to was the fact that guardian cats could take on human form at times. The information was shocking, and no doubt the senshi's surprise played across her face. "Well, I..." she paused, her thoughts screeching to a halt. Zirconia was one of the most important members of the Court. Her asking to come along was probably a test set out by Ares. She swallowed a lump in her throat. "I am requesting your presence in the form you find most fitting."
After further deliberation, she amended her statement. "I believe you being in your natural state may be for the best. You would be smaller, less conspicuous, and you could hide in the foliage at these locations," She pointed to several areas that sported landscaping that would be easy for Zirconia to hide in. "and you could give us reports once someone powers up. That could be very helpful."
Leaning back, the senshi studied the map with fervor. "Leto could possibly camouflage herself or a small group for infiltration purposes..." Kallichore's voice trailed off, her brows furrowing in thought. What would Ares do?

Zirconia nodded, though, entirely unaware as far as Kallichore's demeanor, since she definitely wasn't there on any business so official as a mission from Ares.
"All in all it sounds like a solid plan," She said, taking note of her own plans that mostly involved observing how well Kallichore carried out this plan for personal reference.
"I'm surprised you actually took the initiative what with... you know," She didn't really want to say out loud that the Court was out of sorts, and she didn't even know the half of it.

"Surprised I took initiative?"
What shocked Kallichore the most was that no one else seemed to go forward with any preconceived plans at any real point in time. It was odd. Didn't anyone else have the desire to further the designs of the court? She shook her head, frowning in thought. Being inactive or passive was something she vehemently avoided if at all possible. Idle hands and minds were wasteful, in her opinion. But as much as the senshi was proactive, she had no idea what Zirconia was talking about.
What looked to her like Ares putting... what was her name? Birhan or whoever on the spot. It was like a test. Was that unusual? "I just want to assist the court in any way I can. You all were nice enough to take me in. It's the least I could do for you, seeing as you all took a chance with me." It was honest, direct and somewhat heartfelt. It was quite unusual for Kallichore.

Zirconia nodded quietly and then sat there staring expectantly. And stared. And staaaared. Like she was expecting something.
It was awkward, to say the least. And Zirc didn't seem to be stemming any awkwardness by breaking the silence to just outright say what she was expecting.
