Gabriel gave a low growl as he walked silently into the open field. His mind was heavy with thoughts as he was tired of trying to find out where Adalyn was. Hania Shen he had found finally and more then that, he was happy to see he was safe. Even though he didn't like his lifestyle choice he was at least happy he wasn't whoring around having kids with different females. That always irritated him for some reason and more then that, he felt like he could in the end be the one doing it as well. He didn't respect females enough and it was obvious. His tolerance for them was pretty much non-existent as well.

As he walked, he looked around. Nothing was ever around and it if was, They were always fawning over him. Giving a snort, he stopped and stuck his hoof in the mud. Today was going to be aweul. He could just feel it.

Bellezza walked quietly about the area. She wasn’t one to stray too far from her home in the forest, unless she got particularly bored. In which case, she tended to wander a bit father than normal. And today just happened to be one of those days. Walking quietly along the forest edge, her soft purple eyes turned up toward the sky, watching a few birds overhead. She loved birds. They reminded her of her father. Though at the same time, they reminded her of the lack of wings that she didn’t get from him. But growing up, she was always told she was the most like him, wings or not, so she didn’t mule over it too much lately.

Lost in her own thoughts, Bellezza didn’t realize she was being hunted. A Kalona stallion walked quietly behind her, wings folded, growling lowly in his throat. Her ears flicked at the noise, and very slowly she turned around, staring toward the stallion quietly. The staring match only lasted a few seconds, before he was moving toward her, hooves slashing, tail whipping to see if he could get a good hit on her. Bellezza’s surprise caused her to rear up. She let out a loud whinny, kicking toward him, trying to dodge and back up at the same time. She wasn't a fighter by nature, but when she had to, she would.

Gabriel looked around feeling like something was wrong. He could feel it just he couldn't see it at the moment. He heard a noise and his nature was to help anyone that had that kind of sound coming from them. It was more like a distress call and it was in his blood to do something. Huffing a bit, he tredded slowly towards the noise flicking his tail behind him in a slightly annoyed manner before seeing the problem before his eyes. A female was being attacked by a male kalona.

He was torn. He didn't like females, but then he didn't like kalona's hurting other and pretty much worshipped that breed. It was hard, but ultimately, he came to a decision quickly since he had to.

"Hmph...picking on someone weaker then you...how sad.."

He muttered about the kalona as he slowly walked over glaring at the stallion, but got in a defensive kind of stance. He could fight and he was going to have to.

Bellezza reared up again, before her eyes flickered when she saw something moving moving against the dark green of the forest. Her body lowered, she backed up farther, shaking out her head and flicked her ears, staring toward the male that had just walked into teh area. She was surprised to see anyone out here, let alone another male. A sense of almost dred crossed over her. Were these two friends?

But then he spoke, and curiosity and shock crossed over her features. He was going to help her? The stallion let out a small bellow, flaring his wings out and beating them in the air a few times, before somewhat charging toward Gabriel, trying to claim his prize as his own, and not something that Gabriel could have.

Gabriel watched the stallion begin to charge for him causing him to growl then glance over at the female making sure she was alright before charging right back at the other stallion. Gabriel was pretty big for a cross breed and more then that he had the advantage over most others. He could be a little slow at times, but it wasn't like he was a tortoise.

He growled more and more as he approached the other before feeling the collision. He let out a small snort and tried pushing against the other. He bit at the others net hoping to leave a bite mark that the other wouldn't forget so easily.

Bellezza took another couple steps back, shaking her head some, before her eyes squeezed shut. She hated fighting. Ever since she was little she hated fighting. Her ears pinned against her head, before she heard the almost sickening crack of the bodys hitting together. It caused her eyes to flash open and stare at the two males, body letting out a small quiver of fear and sickness of having to be near such a thing.

The stallion got the hint, wincing and beat his wings again, before breaking free of Gabriel. he hissed, and snarled, before rearing up, and flicked a glance at Bellezza. Promising to come back for her when the stallion wasn't around, he turned tail, galloping away. Bellezza stood almost emobile, watching Gabriel with an almost critical eye, her scar over her shoulder aching somewhat.

The stallion looked at the female some with his breath heavy form the slight rustle him and the other stallion got into. He stuck his hoof in the mud watching closely as the kalona ran off, finding it funny the male didn't stay to fight more since he always liked a good fight. Flicking his tail, he approached the female slowly lowering his head some as his almost white blue eyes peered at her through his mask.

"Are you alright? I won't harm you like he was going to, but you need to be more careful."

He said to her giving a slight snort.

Bellezza watched him critically. Her fight or flight response was raging in the back of her mind. If this stallion seemed to do something that looked harmful, she would run. But at the same time, she was curious about him. About the mask that resided over his head. About the markings that ran along his body. About everything. Her father always got onto her for being so curious about all these things, but she couldn't pull herself to run.

Shaking out her long mane, Bellezza let out a small sigh, and nodded her head. "I am fine, yes. Thank you though, for running him off. Last thing I need are more scars." She murmured softly, befoer tilting her head, eyeing him once more. "Your eyes are very striking..." She said, an almost innocent flare running through the compliment.

The stallion gave a snort since it appeared the female didn't have a wound on her. He had many, but they were probably more noticeable then hers. Many battles and many injuries would end up doing that to you.

"You shouldn't have any scars on you. Females shouldn't be fighting or at least they shouldn't be fighting in battles they know they wouldn't be able to win."

He nodded and he was a realist most of the time. There was no way she would have beaten that kalona by herself.

"My eyes? Hmph...they are eyes nothing more."

He snorted and looked away from her with a low growl in his throat. The compliments were something he could do without. He couldn't stand them and didn't want them. He knew how he looked.

Bellezza tilted her head curiously. Shaking her head, she caused her mane to fall lightly over her left shoulder, and walked around him, heading toward the field. Running along her right shoulder, which faced Gabriel, was a long scar, old, but prominent against the white/purple fur. She walked quietly toward the field and sniffed somewhat at the grass, before looking back toward him. "Oh? Well when said female has no choice in the matter, they tend to try to fight either way."

Shaking her head again, Bellezza glanced up at hte sky, blinking slightly. "They kind of remind me of the sky." She stated, before turning back toward him, her ears flicking to face him. "My name is Bellezza. And you are?"

The stallion snorted and looked away from her a bit. She was too blinding for him. Bright and colorful were not two things he enjoyed seeing. He only could stare at her hair because it was white and nothing too eye-rape like.

"I'm Gabriel. My eyes are sort of passed down in my family...the color is at least."

He gave a nod as his mask slid around a little bit on his head. He growled and tilted his head to one side before fitting it back in place securely.

"Why are you wandering around here alone? Your pretty much an open target with the colors you have going on. You can't blend in with anything."

He told her tilting his head slightly and narrowing his eyes on her.

Bellezza blinked, tilting her head toward him again, before arching a brow. She let out a small trill of a laugh, before shaking her mane out and shifted, laying quietly in the grass. She prefered to lay down, gave her a better viewing point of the area around her. Of things she couldn't see. She smiled some, before closing her eyes and shaking her head. "I'm out here alone because I like to wonder alone. Usually I can take care of myself. That's the first time Iv'e been attacked since I was a foal." She stated simply, turning her eyes back to him.

Gabriel watched her more thinking she needed more training if anything. He didn't want to offer either. He would help her if he was asked, but it was the female's choice and most he knew would rather learn on their own. Independence was a trait he liked to see in mares, but it was something that he didn't see very often anymore.

"I see. Maybe you should find someone to train you. Learning how to fend off attackers is a good tool to have especially when you are a wanderer by nature. If you don't have that skill...you run the risk of getting really hurt."

He told her truthfully since he was injured so many times as a foal. He was lucky to even be alive right now.

Bellezza watched him with a curious gaze, before shaking out her mane and letting out a small snort. She didn't mind not having training. True, it would very much so help, but at the same time, she really didn't mind it at all. If she needed to fight, she knew how. She may not be as great as some of the other people otu there, but she could hold her own well enough. "I'll be okay. I know how to keep myself safe." She stated simply, before sniffing the grass again, nibbling it some.

Gabriel watched the female closely wondering if she was up to something and more then that he didn’t know what he wanted to say to her. He felt the conversation had just died and if anything he was on the verge of walking away from the brightly colored mare.

“I see. You don’t seem the type oddly enough.”

He shrugged and turned away from her unsure of what to say or do. He wasn’t a social creature and was he was, poison was the only thing that spat out of his mouth.

“Well…I should get going. I saved your life so nothing else for me here.”

He nodded to her as he began to walk away very slowly. For some reason his shoulder was hurting from the collision. Dammit..

Bellezza watched him with some curiousity in her gentle purple eyes. She tilted her head for a second, before nodding ever so slightly, and foreced herself to stand once more, ears flicking a bit as she watched the male. "All right.. Thank you, Gabriel, for helping me..." She said, smiling lightly, before shaking out her mane, and started to wander in the oposite direction, her eyes foward.
