 Chogan had run into the filly briefly before with several other foals, so when he saw the brightly colored soq again, his face lit up and he instantly trotted over, his tail wiggling back and forth like a flag blowing in the wind. He had sadly forgotten her name, as their meeting was brief and Chogan was almost overwhelmed with the amount of names being listed off, he felt like they had slipped through one ear and out the other.
"Uh, hello again." he said softly. "'Member me?" he cocked his head to the side slightly, his eyes sparkling in hope that she did recognize him as one of the mates she played with briefly not too long ago.
He wiggled his tail again, seemingly unable to hide his excitement that he had found another foal besides his own family to play with. He loved making friends. Maybe they could go play-wrestle, or go play in the mud...or do any kind of foal play.
It hadn't occurred to Chogan that she was any different from him, thus she had to live the exact same things he did right? He smiled at her softly, his tail twitching still, making his rump follow suit softly as a soft breeze flew by, tickling and tangling their hair gently, while he waited for her response.

Isadora Fayth perked up from the flower she was investigating, swiveling her ears and then her attention to the foal that approached her. Bright pink eyes peered at him for a moment before she recognized him, then a dazzling smile split across her face as she turned fully toward him. "I do! I do remember you! She wiggled her own tail in excitement, thrilled that they were meeting again, though she was sure she had missed his name and hadn't introduced herself.
"I'm Isadora Fayth! You can call me Isadora Fayth, Isadora, or Fayth!" Nods matter-o-factly and grins once more. "I'm sorry but I didn't catch your name earlier!" (sorry its short! D; )

Chogan jumped a bit as energy coursed through his body, thriving off the excitement that she had remembered. He shook his tail quickly, swishing it back and forth as he listened to her list off her many names.
"Wow, ya gotta lot of names. Isadora's a cool name though!" He looked at the flowers that she had been playing in a curious way. "So," he drawled. "Are there any cool bugs in the flowers?" It didn't once occur to him that bugs may not be her forte and that the flowers were actually what had originally drawn her attention, but to a boy of his age, gender differences didn't occur at all and he remained completely blissful in thinking that all were the same.
He analyzed the flowers, accidentally stepping on one of the soft buds that swayed ever so gently in the wind. He felt the oils ozze under his hoof, but paid no attention. It was only a flower. It would be different if there had been a cool bug on it.

Isadora looked at the other little foal, still not sure what to call him, as he hadn't said. She wiggled her tail and nodded. "I suppose it is a lot of names." Then she gave a small gasp and watched sadly as he squished a flower under his hoof as he inspected the ground...for bugs? Ew. Bugs were gross and crawly. They bit you and had too many legs. Except for butterflies. Those were okay, they were pretty. Oh and lady bugs...but nothing else.
Scrunching up her velvety purple nose she shook her head vigorously. "Bugs? Bugs are so icky!" She shook out her fur at the thought of them, possibly one was crawling on her? She shivered. "The only bugs I like are butterflies and lady bugs! The rest are way too gross!" She looked at the flowers around her and smiled. "We could look at the flowers though! And if I see one with a bug on it I can let you know?" She grinned, thinking it was an excellent plan.

"My name's just got...Chogan....end. My parents don't have last names, I guess." He flicked his tail as he continued searching for any squirmy, crawly bugs. But at the mention of her not liking bugs, the male foal's head snapped up, faster than a cheetah on the hunt. He stared at her for a long time, as if she had just said she liked to torture and maim little children.
"You don't like spiders!?" It was an innocent question, but he had said it so loudly he head it reverberate in the woods, bouncing off the trees, like they were revolted by the idea as well.
He looked down to the flowers, gingerly stepping about them, realizing that there were differences between them, and he didn't quite understand why. "You can look at the flowers, I'll stick to bug searching." He walked further into the flower bed, stepping on a few other flowers as he did so, using his nose to search the ground for any sign of life. He wasn't afraid of bugs, he found them fascinating. They were so small, and yet there they were, existing and living.
"I found a ladybug..." Chogan said softly as he gingerly allowed the small bug to climb onto his nose. "See?" He was trying to reach out to her, to get a better feel for the differences in them. "Why don't you like bugs? I thought all soq liked bugs?" It was an innocent, and simple question. The world was so vast and yet it was hardly understood by the small foal. What he learned was by when he ran off from his mother, and even that was just encounters with other soq, mostly ones like him. Why was this one so different?

Isadora grinned "Well its not really a last name. My name just has two parts. My mommy's name has two parts too, but my sister and mom don't." She wiggled her tail at her explanation and grinned for a moment, then wrinkled her nose.
"Spiders?!" She shivered and pranced away a little, feeling as if one might be on her. She shook her head. "Oh no! No I do not like spiders." she watched him walk a little ways off then in search of bugs, then stuck her nose down to some squished flowers and tried to stand them back up, but to no prevail.
Isadora looked back up at Chogan when he came over with a ladybug on his nose and she looked at it's tiny body crawling about. "What if it goes in your nose?" She thought about his question for a moment and shrugged. "Well they bite, and crawl and leave gooey stuff on you and they just move so fast they're creepy." The filly shuddered again at the thought, then perked up her ears. "I'm sure every one likes different things..." Or perhaps she was the only one who didn't like bugs? What would people think? She would have to ask her mommy if she had to like bugs. Yes.

Chogan watched the bug on his nose, now more ever-carefully than ever. Isadora's comment wasn't unjustified. "I could sneeze it out." He shook the ladybug off his nose, then went trotting up to the filly. "Butterflies don't bite? And the slime's the best part of some of them!" Chogan couldn't help but run in circles, accidentally losing his balance and crushing a few more flowers. "Oops..." He may be young, but he wasn't thick. She liked the flowers more than she liked the bugs. It was strange to him. His sister didn't mind bugs, and of course his brother played with him and the bugs all the time. Could there be differences in the world such as this?
"Do you...like the flowers?" he asked softly. He stood up, gingerly trying not to continue squishing the oily petals beneath his hooves. "My mom likes them a lot too."
He looked down at the flowers he had squished, smelling them, and trying to make them stand again, yet nothing seemed like it could change the soft plants' fate. He pursed his lips, giving up in defeat, looking back up to the purple filly instead. He tried...at least.
