Claudine stood motionless by the river that was not to far from the den in which she had been born. Her eyes were closed, taking in all the sounds around her. She had been searching for someone to hunt for hours now and no one worth the time had come a long. Claudine was not a light hearted filly like so many she had seen in these lands. In fact, she was quite the opposite, instead of being kind and curtious she prefered to push a soquili into a tree or trip them or something. She didn't know what it was, but she enjoyed hurting others. Her parents, if they were even worth that title were sickly nice. She often found herself questioning how she could be related to such soquili. In fact, she wondered how she had come out so evil when they were the total opposite. Hmmm... It would be a question to find out at a later time.

Chogan had been following the trail of his bat friend, Ahanu for quite some time now, yet the bat had disappeared into the canopy of trees, leaving Chogan to become quite sidetracked. He heard the soft, giggling gurgles of the river and decided he was quite hot from trotting along unbeaten paths that not many, other than soq would take.
He trotted up, spotting another soquili. His furry ears became alert as he watched the other in their statuesque stance. He became curious as to why there were so still, and he suddenly found himself unmoving, just like a statue.
The river though directed his attention once again and he went down to it, stretching out his neck to take a few sips of the crisp, refreshing water. His eyes however, were locked on the other soquili as his curiosity had become quite peaked.

Claudine didn't here the other foal coming until he was already there. She felt her heart grow cold as she came to the realization that she needed to train herself more so that she could not be snuck up on so easily. She closed her eyes briefly as the colt took a drink from the river. This was her chance... She could test how manipulative she could be on this unsuspecting little wreck.
Claudine opened her eyes and turned toward the pale colored colt with touches of a light brown on his back and face. She took in his blue eyes and the brown color around his eyes, causing them to pop even more. She was intrigued by his looks. But the real question was, could he keep up with her? This was certainly her first encounter not only with another foal but a colt. This would be her first experiance with someone who seemed less then dark. That, was what Claudine liked about him. "Hello, my name is Claudine." She said with a slight smile. Her smile neither gave away her innocence or her condement.
