In ten days the world of Haven will be turned upside down. There will be casualities.










DAY 1-- the weather is nice and temparate, sunny with a trace sign of clouds. Traffic is flowing nicely. Birds are singing. People great eachother with cheery smiles--considering all the heros and villains are friendly now and there are no more gang threats. Everything is just plain peachy...except the mainland TV channels are nothing but static, although that's just a reason to go out on a picnic and enjoy the nice day.


DAY 2-- The TV's are still out. A few people are getting a bit angry, so they turn to good old radio, which, within a few hours becomes nothing but static. Slowly, step by step, the island of Haven loses all contact from the mainland.


DAY 3-- The bridges to the mainland are closed off, and no ships have come to port in over three days. Haven slowly comes to realize that its on its own.

DAY 4-- In the middle of the night a bright green light flashes in a line all across the sky....and in the morning a grey cloud is seen approaching from the east, it extends for miles and miles, with no end in sight.

DAY 5--The grey cloud sits over the sky, blocking the sun, the air turning hot and damp, and eerily still.

DAY 6-- after the grey cloud stewed for a day, it starts with a single spark in the sky. Within moments Haven is in the midst of the most violent storm it has ever seen. Buildings catch on fire from the lightning, the power goes out, every other hour there is another large grey funnel lowering itself to wreck havoc for five hellish minutes. The east side begins to flood, and hail falls in bone breaking fist-sized pellets. (happy Valentines day)

DAY 7-- Storm continues...run for your lives, etc.

DAY 8-- The storm slowly dies away into a cool fog, with a slight patter of rain. With the end of a storm comes the assumption that the worst is over. But only a few hours after the calm a body drifts onto the shores of Haven, within an hour eight more are found. As the fog clears hundreds and hundreds are seen bobbing slowly and quietly among the waves. They are all from the main land.

DAY 9 -- Haven fears the worst, and issues a blockade against all mainlanders. The bodies are tested for disease, but the only connecting factor is two small pinholes beneath the victims' ears.
