It was a gorgeous day in Camphoreon, with the sun shining and hardly a cloud in the sky. It was the perfect weather for people to be out and about, enjoying the beach, the shops, the parks, and whatever else the harbor town had to offer. The temperature wasn't too hot, nor too cool, it was just right with a sea breeze blowing in giving the air that slight taste of salt.
It was rather fortunate for the young man who had decided to do his errands in town that day. He had been due for a monthly trimming, and had to seek out a place in which to get it done since he was new to the area. Naturally they had to be professional and know what they were doing. He didn't let just -anyone- touch his hair after all. He had found a suitable place, and without any surprise, the stylists had been practically drooling on themselves when they saw him walk in. It wasn't every day that they had customers with such long luxurious hair.
Fit for the occasion, Asch had dressed more casually than was usual for him. He wore a black sleeveless shirt with a pair of blue jeans and boots. Fairly simple and nondescript, although that hair of his certainly made him stand out. Also, the sword that he had with him, which he kept on him in the city... just in case.
After having his hair trimmed, he had been content to stroll around town, and eventually ended up in the harbor-side park. The place was lush and well kept, and certainly not unpleasant to be in. He had then parked himself in a bench overlooking the water. That's where he ended up staying for quite some time, with his Zorua curled up beside him and his sword leaning against the bench. He sat quietly with a deeply thoughtful look on his face as he stared out at the ocean beyond, looking in the direction of his homeland.

No more papers! no more studying! no more tests, or lectures! from here on out everything was going to be hard work and life experience!
School was over with! Rosie was graduating, and she could not be more excited... and nervous at the same time.
Such a big step to take, and for the past couple of months, she couldn't help but wonder where she would go from here.
She knew what she wanted to do, there were just so many options as to how she can become an accomplished Pokemon trainer.
Would she leave Kodo? go to one of the League regions and take part in the Gym challenge? ... she wasn't so sure... somehow the thought of leaving Kodo wasn't really something she felt was the right thing to do.
inwardly curling blond hair swept over one of her cheeks as she tilted her head softly, wearing a thoughtful expression as she watched her pokemon playing in the fresh park grass.
She had a lot to think about... but maybe she should give it a little more time, Right now, she should just enjoy her freedom for a little bit, and spend time with her Pokemon.
Out with her today, were Three of her pokemon, the young Melody, a beautiful green Charmander who was trying desperately to try and keep up with a much more energetic and boisterous pink Eevee.
Helping her keep an eye on the two was her beloved Vahy'n, the pokemon who once was partnered with her late mother.
"What do you think?" Rosie started, speaking to Vahy'n who turned her head up to look at the blond trainer.
Rosie lifted her face up to the trees, before looking back down at Vany'n with a smile.
"Do you think after this maybe we should see who would want to meet up for Lunch?"
"Vaaapo" Vany'n chimed in reply, seeming to agree with this idea.
Rosie giggled softly at the reply, and nodded. looking back to the two younger pokemon.
"Melody, Shine~ come on" She called to them.
The two pokemon raced each other back toward Rosie, Shine winning easily, being older, faster and better on his feet. Plus, Melody falling onto her chest helped his chances.
"Up~"
Rosie plucked the fallen Charmander, holding her to her chest as she turned into two controlled twirls, her pink summer dress swirling around, before she hurried off down the path. about to reach into her bag to see about contacting her friends when someone caught her eyes.
Rosie stopped completely, blinking over at a boy sitting at the bench sitting just off the path she was on, she knew that face right away!
"What are the chances!" She said loud enough for him to hear. "I was just about to go find you." She added with a laugh.
Melody looked over with large Gray eyes, chewing on her own tail.
Vahy'n however, frowned sofyly as she stopped beside Rosie, her tail instantly being pounced on by Shine.
"VAAPOR!" She yelped, startled.

Asch could have easily enjoyed the peace here for hours, not having anything he had to immediately tend to today. It was an off day for him between missions and he could spend his time as he wished. However his deeply thoughtful expression eventually turned to one of disinterest and boredom. He sighed to himself as his eyelids drooped, the notion of taking a quick nap certainly crossing his mind. Tyke certainly had the right idea as he snoozed quietly.
However, a nearby girl's voice suddenly caught his attention and green eyes snapped in her direction. He didn't know her, but there seemed something vaguely familiar about her, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He blinked one, for her attention seemed to be towards him. Was she talking to him? Asch glanced around for a moment, and upon realizing there wasn't anyone else around, looked back to her.
"What are you talking about?" He said back, a little bit confused as to why she was addressing him so casually, as if she knew him. With the words from his master, the Zorua's ears perked up and he groggily lifted his head to blink at him then towards the girl and her Pokemon. Her Pokemon were of particular interest. "Rua!" he barked before jumping down from the bench, about to approach. "Tyke," Asch then reprimanded, gaining a surprised look from the Zorua who then sat obediently.

Eyebrows arched when green eyes opened and looked back to her. her posture straightening up a little when he spoke to her. Something seemed different about his voice, and about the look in his eyes.
Blue eyes blinked a couple of times, before she smiled again, taking a few more steps over.
"I'm talking about for Lunch, I was going to see if you and the others wanted to meet up with me?"
Her head tilted again, looking him over again, her eyes catching his hair. "Oh... Your hair, you changed it." She commented, a little taken aback. did he get extensions? Still, she smiled at this, showing that she rather liked it. "It looks really good on you."
At the sound of another Pokemon, Shine's long ears perked up high over his head, and he leaned around Vany'n to look at the other pokemon by the bench. "Veee!" He yipped, pouncing forward, only to be stopped dead when he found his tail being pinned by a blue striped paw.
The movement from the pokemon on the Bench of corse got Rosie's attention, and with a sudden gasp, blue eyes wide, she knelt down. taking a pause from the new look Luke seemed to be wearing, as astonishment set in on what kind of pokemong this was. "Its a pokemon from Unova!"
Melody stared at Tyke for a few seconds, now at a lower level to the other pokemon.
"Chaaar" she squeaked, holding a claw out, as if trying to reach him.

Asch stared at this girl for several long silent moments. She wanted him to come with her for lunch? He didn't know her. What was all of this about? And then she commented about his hair, which drew a slightly odd look from him. That is until the last few incidents at the base came to mind. People mentioning the Luke they had met in Camphoreon. His eyes widened slightly. Did this girl know him as well? Also, he remembered his most recent conversation with Faleen, how she had mistaken this Luke for him and asked about her sister. Was this her sister? Come to think of it, he could see the resemblance. That was probably where that feeling of familiarity came from.
Now... Asch had a couple options. He could tell her that she was wrong and go on his way, or he could just play along and see if he could find out more information from this girl. A part of him just wanted her to go away, but... if she could be useful... Still, meeting up with some more of the idiots friends could blow his cover.
"Hm..." he hummed to himself before moving to stand up. The sea breeze tossing his long red hair as he did so. "What others?" He asked as he paused to stretch a bit. He had been sitting there for a while after all.
Tyke tilted his head at the funny looking green charmander. He then snickered a bit and in a flash, changed his appearance to look just like the little fire type. Asch looked down at the mischevious Pokemon as he used his illusion ability and Rosie's attention went to him. "Yeah, its a Zorua," he told her plainly.

"Zorua" She repeated with a smile. "And is Tyke what you named him?" She asked, glancing up at Luke for a moment, having thought she heard him call the pokemon Tyke.
When the pokemon suddenly transformed, Rosie's eyes snapped back to it and widened in surprise, when the little fox disappeared and a replica of her Charmander was standing in its place.
"It knows Transform? thats amazing!?" she sounded utterly delighted at this.
"I haven't learned much about the Unova pokemon yet, Where did you find this little guy?"
She set Meldoy down, letting the amazed Charmeleon go over to the Zorua now looking like her. Shine was quick to step up next to his younger team mate.
The Eevee cooed He asked in awe.
Melody was chiming in, tail flailing behind her as she leaned forward to sniff at the pokemon that was looking like her right now.
Rosie Smiled, watching the pokemon, before placing her hands on her knees to help stand up again.
linking her fingers behind her back and turning her full attention back on to Luke to continue with the idea she had for lunch.
Opening her mouth, about to answer his question but paused, taking a step to the side when Luke stood up, to give him more room.
Now, Rosie was one who greatly appreciated beauty, once look at her Pokemon and one could tell she had an eye for it as well.
So when Luke stood, the wind playing with his hair in an almost poetic sort of picture, her eyebrows arched slightly over her eyes, and her lips parted softly, as if still taking a pause from what she was going to say.
The way Luke acted, the way he looked, especially in the way he walked, Rosie came to really see him as the runaway prince, still dressed nice, in that style of the Grand Ile, one that Rosie was becoming very interested in.
Luke acted indifferent, moody at times, but really, he was a gallant soul, who had such a capacity to care, not that he would ever admit it, or that he made very easy to see at times. Since his whole demeanor and appearance gave off this impression.
So it puzzled her as she why he had decided to take such a drastic change of style, now the runaway prince looked much more.... well, Royal.
Even in the way he carried himself. He was now reminding her of those handsome princes from story books... only he needs to smile a little, that would help.
She was still convinced he was a prince... Clearly.
Still, it was a little unusual that he would go for such a drastic change, those extensions were amazingly done, and he even got new clothes, good style for men, she wondered if he got them himself.
She couldn't help but wonder why, he was fine the way he was before.
She returned a soft smile to her lips after a moment of observant awe with with a little uncertainty.
"Well, is Guy still around? I was going to invite both of you? And I was thinking about inviting Seraphine, but I think she might be at that new shop opening at the mall." She giggled lightly at this, with a tone of fondness.
"I'll ask her anyway though."

"Yeah," was Asch's reply to the Zorua's name. Although when she mistook Tyke's ability for knowing transform, he raised his brows slightly. "No, he doesn't. That's the ability that all Zorua have, its called illusion." Even so, it was still pretty amazing, and useful. Having a Pokemon that could take on the appearance of any Pokemon or person was definitely handy.
At the question of where he got him, Asch paused for a moment before giving his reply. "Someone gave him to me." While that was true, it lacked a certain amount of detail.
Tyke was eating up all this attention though, and grinned broadly when the Eevee approached. the fake green charmander said with a shrug. Then in another flash of light, Tyke changed his appearance again, this time into the pink Eevee.
When Rosie stood and paused, Asch frowned lightly as the girl seemed to stare at him for a few moments longer than necessary. Comparing Luke to a prince wasn't too far from the truth, although not entirely accurate either. The same might even go for Asch as well. But the red head had no idea what was going on in that girl's head, and simply thought her staring was a bit... odd, and it left him wondering. Perhaps if he played along a bit longer, he could find out more about that idiot and these friends of his. However, one name Rosie mentioned gave the boy pause, and he had to quickly hide his look of surprise. Guy was here too? Just the mention of his name stirred up old memories, which he quickly banished.
"I haven't seen him," Asch said regarding Guy, but made no comment about Seraphine. He didn't know anyone by that name, thus had no opinion regarding her one way or another. However, Asch was leery about seeing his childhood friend again.

"Illusion" Rosie repeated, correcting her mistake on the pokemon's ability,
tilting her head slightly as she looked over the Zorua, there was still so much about the Unova pokemon that she didn't know yet.
"What a nice gift, and I bet Mieu is happy to have a teammate"
As she spoke she reached into the small bag at her side, pulling a pink pokedex out, opening it up and scanning the dark fox pokemon to add its data to the devise, so she could study it closer. blue eyes widening a little with the information, and a soft noise indicating a pleased understanding.
She didn't linger on this information for very long though, returning her gaze up to the man she thought was Luke before closing the pokedex.
"Oh, well, if you know how to get a hold of him, we can meet somewhere. I know you don't have gear, I wasn't sure if he had any either."
She offered.
Vahy'n, while keeping an eye on the other two pokemon, would cast her glance up at Luke every now and than with a soft frown, she of course knew that this was not Luke, he didn't smell like Luke, but who was this boy? And why did he look so much like Luke?
So far he wasn't doing anything wrong, Rosie mistaking him for Luke wasn't at all unusual, and her approach could be taken anyway from someone who didn't know her.
When the Zorua turned into Shine next, the pink eevee's mouth dropped in amazement.

Instead he simply watched as Rosie scanned his Zorua with her Pokedex. His gaze lingering on the dark fox for a moment until Rosie spoke up again.
"I don't," he admitted, for in actuality, he hadn't even spoken to Guy in 7 years. He would actually prefer not to see him at this point, for it would bring up too many questions. Asch simply wasn't prepared to face his childhood friend just yet. Not when the dreck was still ignorant of his existence. He planned to keep it that way until the right time.

Rosie tilted her head at this, blue eyes blinking a couple of times as she watched him for a couple of seconds, "I see, well, we'll catch him another time, or if you want to wait till he's free, we can go get some lunch later."
She knew Luke was usually very dismissive, but there was just something really different about him today, not just his looks. He had seemed so excited to see his friend Guy.
"Is everything alright Lu-"
She started to ask, with gentle concern, but her question was cut off when there was a flash, and she glanced over to see another her standing by them.
Rosie let off a surprised gasp, her eyes widening in surprise as she lifted a hand to her mouth.

Asch frowned a bit at this, and seemed to be growing a little irritable despite his attempts to remain as indifferent as he could. Thing was though, he'd never properly met "Luke" and didn't really know how he acted, thus it wasn't like he could replicate his personality very well.
"I don't care. Do what you want," Asch then said abruptly, scowling and turning his gaze away from Rose to see.... another Rosie. The red head blinked in surprise and dropped his arms to his side. However, a glare quickly over took the boy's expression.
"Tyke! What did I say about that?"
The Rosie duplicate snickered mischievously before heading to his master's demand, and reverted back to his normal appearance. "Zooor!" Tyke then said as he leaned against Asch's leg innocently.

"They really can look like people! Thats incredible" Rosie said with an air of awe, watching as the pokemon was scolded and turned back into its little foxy self again.
"I didn't expect that." Rosie added with a little giggle to the dark type.
Shine and Melody were both highly impressed, chittering away and bounding around. the only of the group that was not reacting as animatedly was the Vaporeon, who still sat with a air of dignity, though her eyes were wide in surprise, fins splayed out.
Rosie shook her head, okay, Luke seemed grumpier than usual, and while most people would leave it at that, Rosie was the kind of girl to take things into her own hands and help a friend out.
"Okay, just you and me this time than," She announced, perking up and stepping over to him to.
He did say do what she wanted. she wanted to go get Lunch with her friend. So, she figured thats what she was going to do.
"Come on, I know this good little Italian shop, we can pick something up for the park."
She seemed to have her mind made up now, shaking blond hair away from around her cheeks and holding a hand out to him.
Shine said, pounding in front of Tyke and dropping into a play bow, he wanted to play more with this new pokemon.

"Most people don't," Asch said back. It wasn't unusual for people to be startled or surprised when a duplicate of themselves suddenly appeared, and with good reason. It was a bit unnerving to know that someone could walk around, looking just like them. He knew about that all too well.
Tyke looked quite pleased with himself despite Asch's scolding, especially as the two other Pokemon chittered about how awesome he was. The fact that the Vaporeon seemed indifferent, didn't bother the Zorua at all. Can't please them all.
Rosie's announcement drew a blank look from Asch, until she held out her hand to him. He looked at her hand for a moment with a soft frown, but his stubbornness showed through as "Luke" folded his arms across his chest. Apparently he had no intention of willfully taking her hand. "Fine," he relented, although set on walking himself without physical contact.
Tyke's ears perked up at the mention of food, green eyes widening, and he let our a cheer of excitement. ""

She didn't expect him to take her hand at all, she would have honestly been surprised if he had, but she found that a gesture as such was an affective way of welcoming someone to start walking.
She smiled when he did, folding her hands behind her back and glancing down at her pokemon. "Lets go guys." She told them.
reaching down to pick up Melody when the youngest pokemon ran over to her.
Vany'n took up walking next to Rosie, while Shine stuck around Tyke, trotting around him playfully, bumping into him a few times, like clumsy young pokemon do in play.
Rosie quickened her pace enough to catch up with the one she thought was Luke, stopping once she was next to him and keeping in stride with him.
"I really like what you did with your hair. where did you go to get it done?"
she asked, tilting her head and looking over at him.
"And why the change?"
