Okay, I am going to close down and consolidate several of the Divisions, possibly leaving up to seven of the divisions in tact, or as low as 4. The idea is that with all 13 "open", we spend more time looking for Shinigami than actually roleplaying, and thus I will make this easier to deal with. However, I have several Ideas for this, and I would ask your opinions on them:
1) The Divisions:
1st Division: Large Scale Operations and Intelligence (10th and 3rd Combined)
2nd Division: Special Forces / Assassination & Undercover Operations and Counter Intelligence (2nd and 9th Combined)
Kidou Corps / Kidou Tactics & Control and Research and Development (5th and 12th Combined)
Reserves and Medical Assistance (4th and 8th Combined)
Diplomacy and Internal Affairs and Seireitei Defense (6th and 7th Combined with 13th)
Offensive Tactics (11th is Stand Alone)
Now, four of these will already have their own Captains. The other two, however, will be chosen by a Melee between all E-ranks. The survivor chooses his or her or its or squirrels division to run. Then we shall have a second melee for the same thing. The winners will be upped to C-rank, and will train from there. That is, if their fighting does not increase their rank further than that. This will also increase the ranks of all involved.
Ideas? Comments? Concerns?

My suggestion is to roll with fewer divisions open. We don't have many active members at all, so four divisions might be limiting availability, but if we look at the consistently most popular divisions of other guilds and in general:
2nd, 10th, 11th, 13th. Beyond those, and people don't see a ton of variation. The best people try for otherwise are 4th, 6th, and 12th.

I kinda like this idea, that way, the squads can work together, instead of the squads be snotty towards each other. I also like the fact you have to earn your title. makes you learn to be a better RPer in general.

What I'd like are the ones listed above. To me, they fit together. And 4th will serve a purpose when shinigami must go there to be healed.

I like it but I think the 3rd, 6th ,7th divisions should be together and the 10th, and 13th together.

The thing with training is that it's pretty non-attaching. Even with our current shinigami who are 'training' there is no character involvement except with what they are doing. No connections are being made, there is no character relationship, Character development is nil. It's pretty much "I'm training, I'm now stronger, I go away now." Kind of a thing.

Could we do something similar for the humans? Like limit what areas humans can live in or just make them all have to live in karakura, because there arent that many of us and if we are all in different places we wont have anyone to rp with and most of the Visoreds are in Tokyo. sweatdrop

Well, the S.L.I.S.K. system is in place for that reason, Tsukino.
Everyone, I will be removing the stat system. however, a Class system will be replacing it.
Also, the Stat System will now be an...option. You may use the stat system if you wish to define your character further. Like, I will biggrin And Kazz might. Anyway, new updates are coming to the guild to make things easier.

Personally, I've never found the idea of combining and closing divisions very fond. Personally, I think we should restructure it, so that the divisions are still growing. When X shinigami remain active, members get the grand opening of a new division.
