I'm Galaxy Commander an avid fan of Roleplaying and I have been thinking of designing a guild for Claymore for awhile.

you like playing villains too neh? figures we would play similar although my primary roleplay character is neither villain nor good. Merely a weapon that has the honor code of a samurai. well sort of.

How ironic that I am one who would play any side or even a side that you may not know exists. I could be the evil man who strives to bring the world together or even the hero who's heart is filled with greed. Ah the possiablitys.

Greetings all~! ^^ I am Yoko. Roleplaying vet, not sure for how long but off the top of my head possibly four or five years. Anywho I've watched the entire Claymore series and starting to read the manga.. And since we're mentioning types of characters we can play I can be the typical knight in shining armor (literally as Galaxy knows) to the heartless villain who uses all as he pawns. And yes. I plays girls as well. ;3

Sadly I have not watched the anime or read the manga too much since it didn't interest me all that much, though I might start doing that later.

Indeed, also a question, are claymores limited to only their respective islands at the start or could I have a male claymore on the Female island?

Yes they are restricted to the island. As such the female claymores have been lead to believe that all male claymores succumb to the call of the yoma power as it is a stimulation of power and like when a male becomes aroused the male is almost incapable of falling to it's power and awakening. So on the island of Rabona this is something they are taught in their school. (This will be gone over with you when you go to the school)
As such something similar is told to all of the claymores on the male island.

Yes something that is prominant in the series is claymore rebelling or leaving the organization to be hunted as they grew uncertain by finding inconsistency's with what they've been told as to reality. In fact in one of the more recent manga chapters a village where the organization is making awakened males was found and destroyed.

Hey, I'm Das Ecks Makinuh, and my specialty is playing Evil/Insane characters, but I enjoy playing any type of character. I just wanted to thank you for the invite to the guide. I've only been roleplaying for about a year (Probably less) but I've been writing for much longer. Anyway, I haven't read any Claymore manga beyond the first volume, so forgive me If I get a couple things wrong. Anyway, I'm assuming that this takes place in a medieval times, so is there any specific uniform that the Claymores wear?

Welcome and no problem. Um yes they pretty much wear a silver'ish looking body suit with plates that hang from their hips and plates on their shoulders. They also have cloaks.. lets see if I can find a few picture references. This one works well for claymores Claymore uniformThis is what their uniforms look like when they are trainees: TraineeNice thing about the way I tried to work this guild is so you don't have to have even any real knowledge about the series to be in it successfully. Yes it is medieval based.

of course however the only thing is that everyone is essentially armed with the same weapons and equipped with the same weapons. That's just for knowledge though.
