★ G e n e s i s ☆ A newborn terror will always come to startle the human mind. Some of them never go back. They always take a step forward. To the pure promise, to the place beyond their sadness.
Humans are just caged birds… All their life they hope to get different wings than the other birds. In the end, they find themselves flying through black, hopeless, clouds.
It’s the year 2012. And the world is still in contact. Life goes on. However, since 2012 came along, a strange thing hovers above the world.
A Tree.
A giant floating tree.
Unnatural as it can get. Its up in the sky and it moves around the earth, just like our sun. The tree is very powerful. It grants random humans, random powers. Even if they asked for it, or not.
Sometimes, the powers come at the worst time.
Sometimes, it comes at the perfect time.
Humans with powers granted to them are known as “Genesis”
It has led many to death.
And has led just as many to success.
Genesis are shunned by normal humans, and wanted by the government for testing. They're treated as monsters either way they go.
Theres two options.
Run. Or Fight.

☆ I n f o ★ T E A M S ! xxxxx► GENSISPeople who once had normal lives. They are now 'blessed', cursed some like to say, with powers. They arer wanted by the government for testing. Or Worse. Constantly on the run and battling those pesky cops, nothing will ever be the same will it?xxxxx► GOVERNMENTA mixture of normal humans and people who where blessed with powers and manipulated or threatened into joining the government ot hunt there own kind. Savage isn't it? The Governments main idea is ridding the 'pests', A.K.A, Genesis before they overthrow the government._____________ xxxxx► TIMEIt is only the year 2012, nothing much has changed. Technology isnt to advance from what we have now. So No flying cars, No cure for cancer, or anything spectacular. Humans continue to expirement day and night discovering an' what not. xxxxx► HUMANS Humans are pretty neutral not anyone's side but are NPCS [[Non-Playable Characters]] for this roleplay. Corinne, Or Cori, as she prefers to go by, was taken to live with her mom after a divorce. She remarried, and Cori had a nice Dad along with a nice Mom. She lived happily for a couple of years. Till she turned 7. Her old Dad came back. Drunk on who knows what...Cori went to get her Mother. However, Her real father pulled out a beer bottle and slammed it aganist her throat crushing the girls voicebox.

Stuck with sign language, the girl went from being outgoing to a complete introvert and timid girl. However, she holds a strong hatred for drugs and her Father. Jonathan walked through the city streets, trying to stay under the radar as best he can. The people of this world were not kind to the genesis, but he did not care. To Jon, the genesis were superior to normal humans, and they feared his kind. Their twisted ideology of being "perfect" in their so-called god's eyes made Jon chuckle. How could such an imperfect, inferior, and all-around unintelligent race be perfect. Ah, well, Jon thought, If you're going to have dellusions, you may as well make them grand.

Cori sat on the curb of a busy street. She was a mess. And in all honesty, she didn't care one damn thing at all. The people looked at her as she passed, whispering where her parents where.
Probably partying and drinking beer to crush the remaining brain cells... she thought as she placed her head on her hand. She got up, her stomach growled loudly. Not one person who walked by gave her any money. So, it was back to being a savage animal. For today anyways.
Casually, Cori walked up to a bakery. A women in her 30's baking bread quite contently. Cori walked, picked up a loaf of bread. Her mouth watered. She was tired of eating meat from other animals. As she made her way to the door, the women perked up, "Are you going to pay for that?!" She asked, with one big leap, Cori out the door and into the busy street. She could hear the women calling the cops from her store. Damn.

Jon heard the ruckus the bread woman was causing. This'll be fun, he thought, running towards the source of the commotion. A young girl stealing bread, a classic situation, great for acting the hero. Jon ran towards the girl and grabbed her. He ran into an alleyway, eluding the authorities by hiding behind a garbage bin. "Stay quiet." Jon ordered. He peeked over the bin to see if they were followed, no signs of anything yet, but he still wanted to wait a while before letting the girl out of his sights.

It was to be expected, given the fact that she had been on the run for the last few days and probably looked like a truck had run over her. Stupid wealthy b*stards. Just because she somehow ended up sending their car up in flames, they just had to have her brought in by the police, by any means necessary. Maybe if their stupid brat of a kid hadn't gotten her so worked up, their Ferrari wouldn't have been toasted to a crisp at the moment.
xxxLauren shoved her hands in her pockets, shaking her head to clear all of her thoughts. She didn't need to worry about that right now. She was in a nice town, the cops couldn't pick up her trail, and she had just enough money for a meal. Things were looking good for the time being.
xxxAn angry shout rang in her ears, and the auburn-haired girl looked up. She blinked in surprise, staring at the scene that unfolded in front of her. A little kid was fleeing from a baker's store with a loaf of bread while the owner angrily babbled on the phone with authorities. Then, as if right on cue, a teenaged boy leapt into the scene, grabbing up the girl and ducking into an alleyway. The pyrokinetic grinned. Interesting.
xxxLauren waited for the police to pass, then made her way down the alley. She peered behind a nearby garbage bin, scowling at the two. With a huge sweep of her hand, she grabbed up the little girl's collar, putting on her best intimidating look. "Stealing bread, I see? How naughty of you. You should be ashamed." she scolded the child.
xxxWith another swipe, Lauren popped the boy on the back of the head. "And you there! If you want to act all heroic, saving the criminals isn't the way to do it." she said, glaring at him.☣

"There's nothing wrong with a little curiosity. I know they say curiosity killed the cat, but I'm not a cat," Jon laughed.
Jon sighed a bit, "Although, according to the government I'm not even human anymore... Probably shouldn't have said that." he said, now desperately hoping the girl isn't a genesis-hater.
Tomas sat quietly on a street corner, dressed in street clothes but with a few weapons hidden on him because the higher-ups sent him on a hunt for the genesis. He waited for his partner to show up, a genesis who was trained to kill other genesis. Sending someone to kill their own kind, and a kid! He's barely sixteen and he's sent to battle. What the hell are they thinking? Tomas asked himself.

₡orinne ₡aylor Cori was doing just fine 'till this man with intentions of who-knows-what...grabbed Cori and whisked her away into an alleyway. She was so stunned, and if she could scream, she would.
Cori glared at him, Is he going to turn me into the authoritys and get a montary reward? Fear began to grow in her eyes, till a woman came up. She so badly wanted to get out of here, but the cops where running around like ants. She blew her bangs in frustration.
What a noisy bunch. They're both so shifty and defiant. Cori stepped into the middle and shook her head at the girl with the enemy statement. If she was cop, they'd probably be on there way to the station.
Without anymore interruptions, Cori lifted the bread to her lips..and bit into it hungrily. She listened to the two bicker.
With growing curiosity, she looked at the man. He wasn't human? Could he possibly be like me? What about this lady? Cori then slapped her head. Oh God, if shes with the bad people..were screwed...This guy is definately not going to last in the wild if he goes around boasting this. She looked at the woman, waiting to see her reaction to his statement.
