Skills: Fishing in the river, 'street smart', can be very diplomatic, can't fight very well but will do so if threatened, is very loyal and can sometimes be wise for her age. She loves to hunt and is a very versatile lioness and will jump from job to job.
History: She was abandoned by her mother when she was just a little kit with only her name to know her parents by. Pastel played with Karver when she was younger but she had the curse of always being young on her so as her friend aged she stayed the same age for quite a long time and it was traumatizing to her as she watched her friend go further and further away from her by becoming an adult and starting a pride of his own without her seeing as she was stuck as a cub but had the mentality of an adult and secretly crushed on Karver. But the lioness that begged him again and again to make their own pride together, named Hope, took advantage of her rival in love's eternal youth.
She was found by Solio and Rackna and was taken into their pride but all Pastel could think of was Karver and she hoped that he still liked her and she waited for herself to grow up finally. One night after crying herself to sleep and se began to lose hope, she found she'd grown into a beautiful teenager the next day much to her happiness.
After that, she wanted to leave the pride that she'd joined and roared at Karver one day when she saw him in order to ask him but as soon as he approached the pride lands, Karver chickened out as he had to fight Rackna for him. Pastel's heart was broken as her crush ran off with his tail between his legs and had her hopes up for no good reason.
Pastel, after he left she didn't even participate in the pride as she was angry at King Rackna for having to make Karver try and fight him and the other lion chicken out. Until one day when he told her she could go as she hadn't been participating at all and he was annoyed by the glares she gave him.
The teen lioness was happy about that and really didn't like Rackna's pride lands anyways and she was glad to leave and with that said she ran across the desert towards her target which was an oasis as other lions she met told her and it was very far across the hot desert sands and with the sun blazing down on her. She was lucky she made it there in one piece.
Through her long and tiring travels she had become an adult finally as she walked into Karver's pride lands. After talking with him for a moment, she became cross eyed and then flopped to the ground with heat stroke from the very long journey she'd managed to make by herself.
Karver picked her up on his back and right from the start of being there she didn't feel welcome at all in the pride she'd wanted to join with all her heart. Everyone glared at her and they talked behind her back and Hope didn't like her either by then the lioness after having a jealous spree of Pastel, had managed to ruin Pastel's life already, taking advantage of her because she was small for so long.
Hope didn't act like her namesake, taking advantage of another lion that she knew had feelings for another and taking him away from her. Poor Pastel. She was placed in the water and she managed to come to and listened to everything the mean stuck up pride had to say about her. In a fit of sadness and sickness, she got to her feet and tears started to fall from her purple orbs as she attacked Hope or tried to. Failing, she glared at Fayola, one of the ones who was talking behind her back and ran away from the pride.
The adult decided to leave mean old Karver and with his ugly and evil queen. Her heart was shattered and she collapsed after running away, sobbing. The next pride next to Karver's is Ling's. Maybe she'll have better luck there and be treated nicer? Ling seems like a wise and nice king to Pastel.
Personality: She is calm a quiet. Despite her rough childhood, she had also managed to develop a very motherly attitude. She enjoys playing with those her age as well as those younger.
