Grassy plains in the night 
What a night to spar... My challenger sure picked a good time to train. No daily distractions, and the world is asleep. Nelliel Shizuka... I remember the name, but I just don't remember from where.
The kid knew that he had heard the name from the shinigami academy, but just knowing the name wasn't going to help.
I'll remember when she appears.
He looked up at the moon and waited patiently for the arrival of his opponent.

I walked through the grassy plains slowly dragging my kimono on the grass. This was my first spar after leaving the Academy due to my mother and father's death. I had an small feeling that I knew who my opponent was but I couldn't quite connect his name. The Night was as beautiful as it could be the moon shining bright over us and sure the fact that the field was mostly clear was amazing. I then spotted the silhouette of my opponent on the grass and looked up looking at him and I spoke "Hello Tsukirou-san" I said and bowed respectively and awaited hisresponse.

It was one he remembered from not that long ago. Had it been a year? 6 months? He couldn't remember the last time he was at the academy. He looked down to see that familiar face from before.
"Nelliel? From the kidou class? To send me an invite like this is quite the honor."
Tsukirou jumped down from the large rock, his body slowing as he fell before his feet touched the ground. There was a gentle breeze as he landed from the light force of reiatsu coming from him. He looked up at his former classmate, giving her a kind and warm smile.
"It's been awhile since I last saw you. I couldn't have imagined you entering the Elite, you're so gentle. What brings us here?"

I looked up and there he was that guy from kidou class he was as I remembered but now he seemed more confident. "Well its a pleasure to see you again Tsukirou-kun it has ben a while since our kidou class together" I said as I smiled a bit out of happiness. "Well I needed to spar and well last I remember you were a great fighter although a little bad with kidou" I said as I chuckled a bit remembering when Tsukirou had messed up at Kidou Class. "Well I guess this would be a very good spar for both of us I believe" I said as I moved the hair out of my face.

He couldn't help that his reiatsu control for kidou was the worst he knew of. He let out a sigh and his head dropped.
"I can't help that I failed out of that class. I never liked kidou in the first place. Wasn't my decision to waste my time in that class room either. Doesn't matter though, I got into a private class for the more swords related fighting."
He looked up again at his sparring partner, once again, giving her the same smile he had before. He stretched quickly before walking closer to Nelliel. He was a good ten paces from her now as he prepared himself.
"Well then, I suppose we could spar to see how much we've grown. I hope you prepared yourself well for this fight, I'm not as weak as I once was."

"I have heard a lot about you so I sure know you have grown quite a lot about you" I said as I smiled and slightly moved the right side of my kimono so my sword sheath would be visible "So I think this is it its time to show each other how much we have grown" I said and took my stance as I awaited for him to make his move. I wanted to be as polite as always specially in an spar there was no point rushing and doing reckless stuff against your partner and risking injuries for both.

Nelliel... Here I come."
Tsukirou disappeared in a flash, and appeared in front of the girl. His palm was pointed directly at her stomach about a foot in distance. He pulsated reiatsu into his hand and made a weak burst with his raw reiatsu. Almost like a weak sho, the attack was basically a rough push if not a shove. He hoped that she would be able to keep up with him, but only enough for her to try to defend herself.
If I remember, she was bad at close quarters combat, but her kidou skills were great. So long as I keep close distance with her, this should tilt the favor of the spar to me.

I lock my eyes on him as he flash close to em. I had heard about his push ability and I knew what it was capable of. I then decided to dodge it with an smart move, so I placed both my hands on top of his and used them as support to catapult over his head and land behind him; then spin kicks aiming at his back.

As he saw her counterattack, he grabbed the handle of his backmounted zanpakuto with his free hand and turned the blade to the kick, blocking it successfully. In another instantaneous movement, he turned his body quickly, parrying Nelliel's kick, and aimed his legs towards her legs to trip her.
She's gotten faster with the reaction I'll give her that, and that counterattack nearly hit me. Guess I underestimated her.

I saw through his move so I back flipped in order to dodge his leg sweep and landed a few steps away from him then looked up at him and smiled slightly and flash stepped in front of him and with a swift move kicked up aiming at his chin.

As soon as he grabbed her, he stood up quickly and through her back some 3 meters to put some ground between himself and his opponent.
"That was really close, you've certainly improved on your fighting skills. I can't believe can actually put up a fight while wearing that kimono. That's rather impressive for starters."
He chuckled a bit, imagining how hard it would be to fight in dress wear like that. A bit to formal to fight if anything else. He did however, remember back in the days when Nelliel was of the stylish type in the class. Tsukirou brushed the dirt off his clothes, once again preparing for another barrage from his sparring partner.

I smiled a bit about his complement while I regained composure of my body then I removed my kimono and my under uniform showed. It was the excat same one as Soi Fon's had used in the past but mine was completely purple. I see you have improved quite a lot Tsukirou-san very nice I then stood there and awaited for him to make his move.

As he turned back to look at her though, he saw that she had a shinigami uniform all along. It took him a minute before he could talk, rather curious on the color of the uniform. Of course, it wasn't the first time he had seen a strange uniform.
"Well... That's new..."
Tsukirou flash stepped once again, this time to Nelliel's side. His blade was already unsheathed, almost like he had taken it out within the flash step. His first attack with his zanpakuto was aimed towards the woman's side. He didn't want to make the attack too fatal, however the speed of his swing said otherwise.

I was impressed at the speed and strength behind his swing. I quickly turned to my side and unsheathed my sword quickly and slashed at his attack in the opposite direction making the swords collide and started to push towards him making the swords sparks while and making us be face to face with an small space between us "You sure take your spar serious I'm glad I chose you to be my partner"
