Nyesui awaited for Tabia in there secrect spot after her dance for the boss man. The spot where he first laid eyes on the female. He didnt like the facted that the dance was for Nanashi, he would have much perfered it to be for him. He really liked Tabia and dispised Nanashi, however he did feel as thought he helped her alot with the dance. A smile grew just remembering that night. Seeing her dance was so amazing though, ever since that night she has been the only thing on Nyeusi's mind, she was all he really cared about.
To him Tabia was more then an entertainer, she was his most prized possession, his crown jewel. But there was always a darkness in the back of his mind, his ex-lover; the boss lady Nyoka. He has well since moved on but female, he never understood how they would hold onto something so long. But to him that was her problem, to him she was a distance memory and as of now a good friend but for Nyeusi, Tabia was the only female for him. He grew anxious awiting her, pacing back and forth. Should he keep waiting or should he go look for her? He wasnt sure, this was the first time he actually cared for someone other then himself.

 Tabia padded across the stones, her paws making no sound as she hurried to where she knew Nyesui was waiting. She couldn't go fast enough, but she knew she had to remain as unseen as she could be. There had been something in the air of the den when she had danced tonight. A tenseness that she could have cut with her claw. It made every hair on the back of her neck stand up, and when the Boss Lady had stopped her...Tabia had thought she'd seen something in her eyes, it made her go cold all over.
With little sound she slipped into the practice ground, gold eyes searching for Nyesui. Spotting him she ran over to him, her paws practically flying as she slid against him, burying her muzzle in his chest, breathing in his scent as her heart beat frantically against her chest like a frightened bird.

Nyoka was taken from the day Nyeusi arrived, he was okay with that because well he didn't intend on finding a mate, he just wanted a nice little heaven to relax without fear of being killed. But Tabia made that dream short lived and he was glad for that. Now he felt like there was a meaning to his life, and it was all in her eyes.
Nyeusi let out a deep breath when he saw Tabia, a weight had just been lifted and he nuzzled against her. He began licking her gently, and smiled. "What is it my jewel? Are you okay?" He said to her. He picked up a worried tone, he hoped he was just letting it go to his head but he couldnt help but worry about her. He coiled around her encasing her body into his. "Before i forget, you were amazing tonight." He grinned and licked her cheek softly.

Tabia looked up at him her golden eyes filled with a very real fear, something she never showed, never had. She'd felt safe here among the Kuroi'nera, till tonight.
" Nyeusi..." she whispered again, beginning to shake as the adrenalin of her flight wore off. She pressed into him, almost hiding in the lee of his body as the chill seemed to grow somewhere deep inside her. She's known what she had seen in her queen's eyes...death.
" Thank..thank you," she managed to stammer, " I..I did my best, though it wasn't him I danced for tonight Nyeusi...it wasn't him I wanted to desire me. It was you...and she knew, Gods above...she knew..." the Entertainer shivered again, fear making her eyes bright as she stared out into the night, at the shadows who could hold any assassin. He mind flashed to Noir, and she had to stifle a whimper as she clung to the male beside her.

Nyeusi could see the dismay in her eyes and he instintly felt unease, he coddled her into him. Tabia was obviously scared, of what however, Nyeusi didn't know. He could care less about anything or anyone, except Tabia. "What's wrong?" He said as he began to lick her in reassurance. "Shhhh, i promise, your safe with me, i wont let anything happen to you." It was true he wouldn't let anyone arm her.
He didn't quite understand what was wrong, "Who knew what?" He nuzzled her, not so worried about the questions he was asking but more about Tabia, his jewel who spoke them; he brought her as close as he could, all he cared about was her and she was horrified, so he would to everything to make her feel safe again.

Tabia looked up into his crimson eyes, her paw coming up to rest on his cheek, the tremor in it easily felt. Normally so calm and self assured, she wasn't now. As an Entertainer, working to Geisha, Tabia was no wilting flower. She could protect herself, and kill if need be, she was half way done with her own training..but she was no match for Nyoka's darkness, for her Noir, if she let go of his leash and set him to Tabia's heels.
" Nyoka knew Nyusi, she knew it wasn't for Nanashi I danced for all it was to be his. She knew it was you I desired to watch me, that it was you I move for. She stopped me afterward, didn't say a word, but the look in her eyes..." Tabia shivered, " She'll send Noir for me, and there will not even be a body left to mourn when he is done."
She swallowed, and took a breath, calming herself. She was Kuroi'nera, and if she was to get whacked, she'd not go down without a fight. She swallowed and looked up, searching the crimson gaze of the male who had come to mean so much so fast.
Dark and dangerous, she'd be dead right.

Nyesui froze, he could feel rage start to build up inside of him. The was no way anyone was going to lay a paw on her, not Nyoka, not Nanashi and sure as hell not Noir.
He lifted her head so that he could stare into her eyes, " Listen to me, Noone will touch you, i will never let anything happen to you, and i sure as hell wont let anyone take you away from me. Do you understand that?" His words were fierce and protective. He was soon to be the Head Merchant and that meant a closer tie to Nyoka. As for Noir, he has met him... and he already had a score to settle so he wasnt scared. Hes had to fight Lions and a leopard wasnt going to scare him.
Nyeusi didnt like the fact Tabia was so scared, his rage grew it almost caused him to start shaking but he had to keep his composure for Tabia. He stared once again into her Golder eyes, "I promise, i will never let anything happen to you." He licked her and pulled her into him making sure there wasnt a centimeter of air between them. He knew one thing was for sure he wasnt going to leave her side, not form one moment.

The female leaned into all the promised strength of his body, letting it shelter her for a moment, wishing for all the world she could stay here in the warmth of him. She turned her head, brushing her cheek against his ruff, breathing in the scent of him, making herself remember it, remember how he felt so close against her. She knew tears wet the lashes of her golden eyes, but she didn't let them fall as she pulled away from him.
" I will go to her Nyesui. I will go to my Queen and beg forgiveness and hope she will show me mercy. It is all I can do. She is ruthless, you know she is, and she will punish you for me desiring you. I can't have that on my paws. How could I live with myself if Noir hurt you, or worse, killed you? I couldn't, a life without you isn't one."
She closed her golden eyes and laid her forehead to his ruff gently, the touch barely there as she whispered, " You were her lover once, and ...and I think she my wish it again. I am nothing, expendable, and she is not above using me to have you...I can't let that happen either. Maybe if I go and swear to never touch you again she will leave us both alone. My blood is my oath..."
Tabia's heart felt like it had been torn asunder, but she could live with the pain as long as Nyesui was alive and well. She could bare it..she hoped.

"No." He spoke it with a stern tone, who that even frightened him. He wasn't giving her the choice to go see Nyoka. He wouldn't let her. He had finally let someone and he wasnt about to just let them go. "I dont care about what will happen to me it is no where near as bad as a life with you. I am not afriaid or our Queen or Noir, or even Nanashi, but i am afraid of losing you."
"She's jealous because you experienced a love i never gave her, i ran before anything serious happened, i was young and foolish i made mistakes. For me and her it was a past the never was, she just envys you. Your blood may be your oath but my oath is to protect the ones i love, and i love you." Nyeusi stood up and narrowed his eyes to hers. "Until Nyoka confronts you directly i can not allow you to do this, i care for you to much, and when and if she does i will be right next to you." He gently rubbed his muzzled against her cheek. He couldnt stop himself from letting out whimper, "I will not let any harm come to you. I promise." His tone was stern and gentle, it was a personal vow he intended to keep no mater what Tabia had to say.

Tabia licked his cheek, licked along his jaw, curling herself as tight around him as she could, the tears she's tried so hard to keep in, streaking her fur silently. As an Entertainer she'd learn to cry without sound, without movement, and she did so now.
" Envy kills, there is a reason they call jealousy the Green Eyed Monster." she laid her head back against his shoulder, " You said you loved me..." she whispered softly, rubbing her cheek back and forth, her tears now wetting his fur, " you said you loved me..."
She began to cry in earnest then, letting all of her training go, shedding the fur of the Entertainer, and merely being Tabia in his paws. She was scared, for them both, but was powerless to do anything, she couldn't go against her Queen, and she wouldn't go against Nyesui. Her only hope in sparing him was if Nyoka sent for her while he was away. She could parley than for his life, barter with her own.
It might appease her and by him his life, he didn't have to know, she doubted the Queen would call them both anyway, best to get rid of a rival quietly and quickly, with little fuss.

Nyeusi was already think about way to keep there relationship alive, He would rather leave the pride then lose his love. He promised to not leave her side and intedted to keep it no matter what anyone told him. He actually said he loved her, not only was she they first person he's ever said that to but she was the first female to make him fall for her so quickly.
"I do love you." He licked her cheek with compassion. "How about we go speak to Nyoka in the morning, together?" He didn't like the idea of seeing nyoka about there relationship but if it made Tabia feel safe he would do anything to keep them together. He nuzzled against her net coddling her and making sure she felt protected. "We can sorta everything out then, okay? I'll make sure no harm come to you." He rubbed his head against the top of hers and gently lick her tears.

Tabia closed the jeweled beauty of her eyes and nodded, though she was not sure it was safe for them to do so, she wasn't sure it was safe for them anywhere at the moment. They were both damned either way.
" If you think it best," she whispered, settling against him, just wanting to steal the rest of the night for the two of them, just in case. She took a breath, and laid a paw on his cheek again, " Come to my den with me, and let me show you how much I love you...we can chase the morning together, and forget about the night for at least a little while." She nuzzled his ruff and stood, looking at him over her shoulder before leading him to her den within the Entertainer's warren.
She'd love him well tonight, and face tomorrow with him paw in paw, no matter what it brought. Death or Life, she was his from now till the end of days.
