Breathing deep she craned her neck back and omitted a howl that broke through the birches that surrounded her sleek form. Rage, as alpha, called out not only to her pack, those who resided here already, but called forth to those that wandered closeby.
Home she called, This can be home.
It had been a long while since new wolves had passed by and come to stay, but now, with many thoughts and times at ease, it was a time of prosper with the whitetail, the ravens were in check with chatter, and no omens were within the sun, so their shaman said.
Rage walked towards the borders, a smile upon her maw. She hoped and smelled upon the wind that this day might be different than the rest, perhaps this day she would welcome someone anew.

 CielTi shivered, it had been a dark night, he didn't know where he had wandered to, where he was going. His head darted everywhere looking out for anything that would attack him. He was in complete fear, lost, unsure, hungry, and alone. Then he heard something. Faint at first because he was lost so far in his own thoughts and fears. "I must be hearing things." He shook his head, trying to come back into the present moment. Then he heard the howl again, this time strong and clear, "Home, this can be home." His ears lifted and he pinned where it was coming from, home, he had forgotten the word, but the warm feelings inside him began to stir. He remembered being a pup, playing, and being around other wolves. He howled back as he ran toward the sound. "I mean no harm, I'm here."

A welcomed sound filled her ears and she stopped, breathed deeply and came to a familiar clearing. Peering around the oculus form she looked around to where dips in the earth remained empty from those long gone, long disbanded into the night and days of new times. She stood in the center where Phib once stood, and she peered to the area where she once sat as a pup alongside Malik. She was so small then, and she was unsure of her future, her home in the valley, lost.
But then, that day, she had come here, come home.
She called out to any, now, and in hope that they would come forth, come home, and join her family, her pack amongst the pine and birches, the seashore and find solace in the sounds of the waves lapping the shore.
She stood with her tail high, ears erect, in the clearing, she heard paws bringing forth a stranger as their scent was unfamiliar. She was in a strong but nonthreatening stance, stating alpha but also friend.
Her amber eyes caught the sight of something bright, and the smile on her maw played across the entire length, a bright fellow indeed.

CielTi reached the clearing and dropped his head lower as he saw the female. She looked so strong, he noticed the interesting markings on her leg, but tried not to stare. "Hello, my name is CielTi, I'm told it means sky tiger, but I am not at all fierce, very much the opposite," he smiled and laughed slightly. "I'm passing through this area...I'm not sure where my home is, but, when I heard your call, it reminded me off a long time ago, when I was a pup...I think I had a home then." He looked up a little at her but kept his tail low, knowing she was alpha. "This is a nice area that you call home, I would like to have a home like this," he said to her

"Ciel Ti," she spoke, not testing his name on her tongue, but speaking it slowly, elegantly and with respect in his name for himself, not in pride for herself in speaking his name. "I am honored to be in the presence of a sky tiger, whether or not you may believe yourself so," she smiled and her ears twitched. She lowered her tail, hoping to set him at ease. She was alpha, but not wanting to threat one seeking a home, one she could welcome with open mind and heart and spirit to this pack.
"You've come across the packlands of The Outriders. We are a pack of calm, simple, some might call is normal pleasures. We pride ourselves on family, friends and relations of trust and strength in numbers. Not merely physical strength, but the strength of friendship."
She took a few steps, and moved her head to lead him beside her, "Come, I'd like to show you a bit more, take you to sea the sea, perhaps then, for sure, you will know to call this home." She hoped he would. She was anxious with anticipation. "Walk with me Ciel Ti, friend. I am Rage."

CielTi felt a spark of confidence as the female talked to him. As she lowered her own tail he felt a bit more comfortable around her. He had never been around other wolves since he was young...and he barely remembered those times now. He listened as she spoke, a pack! He had come across a pack! His tail wagged like a pup, as she talked of family, and friends, strength, and trust. "I've had no one but myself for so long. I would be in grate gratitude if you showed me more, the sea? Amazing, a wolf told me I had the colors of the sea once, but I have never been there. Thank you, Rage." He bowed his head and followed her excited what he would see next.[/align

Rage laughed and began to lead the way. "Such an eager one, Ciel Ti, I'm surprised you have been traveling on your own. For such an eager male, I would believe you to be a hunter, or guard for a pack already. None the less, there are plenty areas of expertise you can choose from. Hunter, guard, babysitter, when there are pups, you may also learn from the shaman, if you like."
She wove in between the trees with ease, and watched him.
He did look like the sea, and moved like the waves.
"The Outriders is welcome to newcomers who are searching for home and family, but, do know we respect duty and pride. The Outriders is not a pack for the weak hearted, everyone is to due their duty, their task, it is how we survive and stay strong."
She smiled at him, and felt the earth begin to grow harder, more coarse. "We are getting closer to the shore, do you hear it, the sea?"

His eyes widened..it surprised him that Rage felt so highly of him, a hunter, pup care taker...shaman. He liked the sound of shaman or hunter.
"Well thank you Rage, I do like looking for things in the woods...I think that's how I became a wanderer in the first place."
He tried to recall his past again but so much of it had gone blank in his mind.
"I'm not sure how well I would do with pups Rage...I've only ever been one...I've never taken care of one."
He thought it might be fun to take them on adventures...but what if he got them lost, like he had become...he shook the feeling from his mind as he followed her through the trees. He trusted Rage. He listened to her as she talked about duty, pride, tasks, and staying strong. He didn't think he was very weak or he wouldn't have survived on his own. Would he be able to assimilate...become a member of a pack again? He got angry thinking how his pack had never come to find him. He felt excited for a new challenge, he wanted to please Rage, the only wolf that seemed to ever pay him any attention.
"I will adhere to the packs rules and standards, I am new to being a member of a pack again, but I will do whatever is asked of me to help the pack survive and be strong."
He smelt something strange, and heard something strange, something strange but oddly familiar.
"I do hear the... sea!"
He picked up his pace and ran to the edge of the forest stopping in shock at the vast blue body of water that was on the horizon.

Rage watched as Ciel Ti became excited as he smelled the strange scent that she had first smelled when she came here as a pup and when he saw the vast sea she smiled as he ran and let his paws touch the shore.
Her tail swayed behind her as she walked beside him and she smiled, looking out to the sea.
"I have no doubt you will fit wonderfully in the pack, you just must find where you feel you are most suited next so that I may have you follow one of the others who holds the same rank tot each you and show you what must be done," Rage said with a nod of her head.
"What sounds most appealing Ciel Ti? Scout, guard, hunter? Is there anything in particular you have always wished to strive for that the Outriders may help you try to reach?"

CielTi's eyes widened as he saw the vastness of the ocean, he coun't tell where it ended. It seemed faimiliar, strange feelings began to stir inside him reminding him of when he was younger.
He followed Rage, and jumped in the cool water, it felt amazing. He splashed around, put his nose in it, and even swam a circle around Rage.
Stopping he listened as she talked. He had never felt so welcomed. Scout, guard, hunter...he played with the words in his head. He definately liked walking around and watching for things. That is what he mostly did when he traveled alone.
"I would like to be a scout Rage, do you think you can show me?"

Rage smiled, laughed and shook her head, "I cannot just this moment, but there are others, those that are both guard and scout that can teach you well. We are family and teach onto others what we know so that we can stay strong and grow together.
Tonight when the air grows a little chill, listen for the guards and scouts calls, and you may seek out to them, I will let them know you will be coming. I shall also find an area that will be suitable for a den for you if you'd like."
