Tip 1: Be Active!
Being active in the nudity event thread will really help you get sponsors, as a lot of regulars lurk or post there, and quite a few of them are generous. (Don't beg though, that's a basic thread rule and is silly!)
Tip 2: Be Nice About It!
If you're a d**k in the thread, it's seriously doubtful that you'll get sponsors, and it goes a long way to getting you put on the event mule's ignore list if you do something that might only get you a slap on the wrist normally, so just be nice!
Tip 3: Ask Friends!
Who is more likely to donate than those you know? Almost no one, so don't be shy (or too pushy,) and ask some friends to help you help your friend out! You're passing the buck of generosity, and it's just awesome!
Tip 4: Great Incentives!
Try to have a really good incentive if that's how you plan to get sponsorships. Lottos for great art and rare items are a good way to go, and they're easily done, too. Make sure the artist won't flake out on you though! Try staged incentives, too, it encourages users with smaller gold amounts to sponsor you, and every little bit helps a quest or charity! You can also offer your own art out as an incentive, but make it a guaranteed draw if you aren't great, you'll get practice and they're get guaranteed art, and a charity or quest gets gold, a win/win/win!
Tip 5: Advertise (Carefully!)
Put a link in your signature with the event, who you're going nude for, and your incentives. You can do it in post styles, too, but make extra sure to ASK the thread owner for permission, or you can find yourself in a heap of trouble! (Advertising is against the rules of practically EVERY forum.)
