 Awakened SpiritIt's been years since Yusuke and his friends had all their adventures. The ex-Spirit Detective ended up returning to the demon world after a blow-up with Keiko. Kwubara and Yukina ended up together and having a child. Yusuke found a demoness that he fell in love with and had a child also. In a not so surprising turn of events, Hiei and Kurama ended up together and had a pair of twins. The old friends kept their friendship alive no matter the distance between them, and strangely enough, their children got along with each other. Now, years later, a new Spirit Detective has been chosen and somehow has ended up in the Demon World, a really bad place for them to be. What will happen now that that events seem to be occuring that could change things once again?

Characters
 xxxxKiera
Youngest of Kurama and Hiei's twins.
She is a kitsune with control of plants like her red headed parent.
Out of the twins, she takes more after Kurama in personality too
though she looks like Hiei in appearance besides having fox ears and tail. Cyrusxxxx
Oldest of the two twins.
He takes after their dark haired parent with his ability to use fire.
A kitsune also like his sister.
He is overprotsimilarfsimilard similiar to Hiei in personality
while looking similar to Kurama in appearance.
xxxxKraivin
Son of the former spirit detective turned demon. His mother is a demon from
the demon world after his father Yusuke left his old sweetheart after a big scene that caused
him to leave and go back to the most comfortable. Kraivin is a usually quiet person and
only speaks when he believes it is needed, having mostly gotten his mother's temperament
as he grew older. Though his looks are more Yusuke like then his mother. He has more of his
mothers demon side in him, and thus has the more dragon like demon features such as wings
and a tail, with markings of the mazoku, from his fathers side.
Kinji Marimayxxxx
The youngest daughter of a family of eight. She is similar to Yusuke in a sense
that she always acts before she thinks, but with a lot of spiritual awareness. Usually it's to follow what
her heart tells her too, and she's unafraid of if's, and's, or but's. Or for that matter what the future holds for her. She
had a tough attitude that she always puts on and pretends she doesn't care when she does. Have grown
up with no friends at all she tends to linger at being a loner and unsociable at times. So when she died, it all came
as a shocker to everyone, going through something similar to what Yusuke went through she found her self being
the next spirit detective.
xxxxxKalua UrameshiThe mother of Kraivin, and wife to Yusuke. She has a personality
similar to what kraivin's is. Her son looks nothing like her, and looks closer to Yusuke. She
is also currently pregnant with the newest addition to the family, though she doesn't at all
look it. This smaller form is nothing compared to the Demon Dragon Form.
Yusuke Urameshixxxx
Yusuke used to work for Koenma as the spirit detective until his
demon heritage showed up, and Koenma's father tried to have him destroyed.
He had multiple adventures both as the spirit detective and not. He made many friends along
the way and became a force to be reckoned with. After a final fight with Keiko,
he returned to the demon world where he met his new mate and has been living there since.
The ex-spirit detective has a son now and another child on the way.
xxxxKurama
From the famous fox demon thief Yoko to the human boy Suichi,
Kurama has come a long way from what he used to be. He still has some of the darker aspects of his old life,
but the kinder and more gentle ones from his human life have softened the once ruthless fox demon.
After the adventures, he had with Yusuke and the others, Kurama stayed in the human world til his mother died.
With no real reason to stay in the human world, he returned to makai and joined up with Hiei.
The two ended up becoming mates, and now have two kitsune twins.
Hieixxxx
A forbidden child doomed to die as a babe, he proved many wrong by living.
He grew strong from the trails he faced before going to the human world and joining up with
Kurama and another demon in stealing three sacred treasures. He was defeated by
buffoon and ended up joining the spirit detective, Kurama and the buffon Kwubara on a
mission. He continued to join up with the group until he returned to the demon world for good
after the tournament to decide the ruler of makai. Years later, Kurama joined him in
the demon world, and the once partners became mates and had two children.

Kinji walked down the streets that seemed always familiar to her. Konema had been annoying her with supposed mini missions here and there, if there was anything min about it. She tugged at the rim of her hat down wards a bit, as her blue eyes took in the people around her. Today was a slow day and she literally felt bored about everything that had been going on so far, and she'd been following a trail that had finally lead her to no where. Sighing she wandered the streets slowly. When she made a wrong turn down a street that looked a bit off to her. She turned around at a sound that sounded oddly like a person, and accidentally tripped over something on the ground. She slammed hard into a door to some building, when she felt a sudden sense of vertigo come over her and she fell hard. She blacked out for a moment, before she came to again. Her eyes blinking up to an oddly colored sky that didn't at all look like the normal blue she was used too.
"Damn....how hard did I hit my head?" she questioned herself thinking this was all a figment of her imagination.
Kraivin was sitting in his usual spot, a large mound of rock and dirt to the edge of the land his father's father had once been the leader of. He tucked his wings up behind his back the folded appendages fitting neatly against his back, as his spade tipped tail swayed back and forth slowly. His gray eyes shimmering slightly in the suns rays. He looked over the forest, having spotted something odd, suddenly fall into the forest though he was uncertain as to what it was. It didn't draw his attention enough to want to immediately check it out though, his curiosity would eventually get the better of him.

Cyrus leaned against the tree while he watched his younger sister convince a sapling to grow bigger. Kiera was sitting on her haunches, her hands trailing over the plant's leaves as she whispered, feeding some of her ki into it, "Come on, grow. I know you're tiny now, but you can get as big as the other trees if you would just grow."
Cyrus shook his head as he looked up at the makai sky, his red fox ears twitching. How he had allowed his younger sister to convince him to this little outing, he had no clue, but then again, maybe he did. He looked back over, his gold eyes lighting up slightly when he heard the black haired foxess give a cry of trimuph. The poor, dead looking sapling was now a small tree. Kiera stood, smiling brightly at the tree that barely reached her shoulders. It wasn't very big, but it was an improvement. She turned to her older twin, who gave a small smile back before his expression blanked. The foxess headed towards her brother, her steps carefully not to crush the flowers in the small clearing. Her black fox tail swishing behind her as her red eyes sparkled in happiness for her acomplishment. Both kitsunes turned though, faintly hearing a crash. The twins glanced at each other before jumping into the trees and heading in the direction they had heard the noise.

Kinji looked up at the red looking sky once she was standing. She brushed the dirt off her pants and stretched a bit. She picked up her hat that had fallen off and placed it back upon her head. Her blue eyes looked around her as she tried figuring out what the place she was in was called, having come to think that this wasn't a dream or something she was just seeing. She rubbed the back of her neck before shoving her hands in her pockets before setting out in one direction, having thought it best to keep moving then to stay in one place for to long. "What now? Koenma.....what have you gotten me into now?" she sighed as she walked through the wooded area slowly.
~Elsewhere~
Kraivin sat a bit longer before stretching out his pitch black wings, and taking to the sky. He didn't fly fast having not been in a hurry to get to where he'd seen the thing fall from the sky and land at. He wondered as to what it could be, and something ran through his head a bit as he remembered the squads that were out looking for humans that had fallen past the void and to their world. He oddly wondered as to what a human smelled like let alone looked like. Sure his father was something to go by for a bit, but he was more demon then human, since he had given up his life in the human world to live here after Kaiko had upset him greatly. Getting a bit more curious he picked up speed a bit.

Cyrus and Kiera jumped between the trees branches, barely making a noise. The two were silent, using the years of practice to keep from getting in the others way. They slowed down, hearing a female voice. Kiera glanced over at her brother, mouthing, Human?
The red head nodded faintly in reply. Neither could feel a demon's ki, and idefinitelyly didn't smell like any demon that any of them had run into. Soon, they came upon what they had guessed had fallen. It seemed to the two that a human had fallen through the barrier. Their parents had talked about that fact a few times before. A pair of red eyes and gold eyes looked down at the woman, one set in curiousity and the other blankly. The dark haired foxess looked at her brother, motioning down to the intruder. Cyrus made a cutting motion, mouthing, Stay hidden. The patrol should be headed this way soon, anyways.
Kiera pouted before nodding, replying, Fine, but we should make sure no demons attack her. You know that not all of the demons agree with the whole no-attacking-humans policy.
The red headed kitsune nodded in reply, and the two stayed in the trees for now, following the human that had unwittingly entered the demon world.

Kinji stopped and looked around, noting the feeling she was getting wasn't unpleasant, but it didn't feel human either. Her blue eyes narrowed a bit, but she said nothing. Botan had explained she had a high advantage in spiritual awareness, about two times more then the previous spirit detective. She was unsure of what the bluenette had spoken about but she went along with it and just accepted what she said. She started moving again, but this time also keeping tabs on the feeling she was having. Having done a few missions had told her when people were hostile and others were not. These didn't feel hostile in the least, or at least they weren't for now. She came to the clearin of one of the forests edge, and she looked down from the slight cliff drop over the other forest below and she sighed slightly, wondering if she should go around or climb down. She paused though when she felt a hostile aura, and she turned slightly to look along the ridge. She didn't see whom it was, but she knew that it wouldn't take long for the being to decide to attack her.
~Elsewhere~
Kraivin found the spot, landing gently as he sniffed at the air, picking up a scent that smelled feminine, or at least close to it. Which meant it was a human whom probably didn't act like a women would usually act. Nodding to himself he kept the scent and put it to memory so he could track this person when ever he pleased. He took to the sky once more, finding that there were demon scents close by as well, which meant the person had already drawn a lot of attention, either good or bad he didn't know.

Kiera paused, sniffing the air slightly before her nose scrunched up in disgust. Cyrus shook his head fondly at his sister's reaction to the scent of other demons nearby. The two kitsunes paused in the tree line, the red haired one leaning against the tree and the black haired one crouching. She crossed her arms on her knees, leaning forward slightly in interest. The human female felt different, like she had some hidden power. Kiera stiffled a sneeze as her tail brushed her nose. She huffed silently as she watched the human. Cyrus glanced at the silver haired woman before looking about. He could feel a demonic prescence coming closer, one that wasn't friendly at all. His ear twitched hearing Kiera's stiffled sneeze as he focussed on the demonic prescence.

Kinji let her hands fall from her pockets. The special thing about her is she knew alot of attacks, not thanks to her constant bickering with her parents to let her train in dojo's over the course of several years. She she let her hands got to one side as her fingers made a cage like grip, before a blue spark ignited a two fist sized blue orb within her grasp. She stayed poised and ready, having learned to mask her energy over the past few months of working under Koenma and Botan. The demon reached the forests edge, it was definitely male, his red eyes looked directly at Kinji. A growl ripped its way from it's throat.
"Ahhh....human, it is good you dropped by. I was hungry, and looking for a snack...though you look like more then a snack.....you look delicious," The demon swiped it's tongue over it massive row of teeth. Spiky looking hair ranged down it's back to the tip of it's long tail, from it's head. Two horns sprouted forth curving back a bit as its claws flexed in a way of intimidation, yet Kinji looked the opposite. It's deep red skin looked like that of blood and Kinji only smirked at him when he roared out loud.
"To bad for you....I'm having a very bad day, and if it's a fight you want then you got one," She laughed slightly. The demon enraged by her attitude lunged forward thinking her incapable of beating him. She let her spirit energy surge, and it made the beast falter a bit. Though it didn't last long as he once again surged forward thinking it was only a ruse and that some near by demon had caused it and not her. When the beast was only a a few feet away, she thrust her hands forward and her fingers let loose the ball "Spirit bomb," She said out loud, the beast yelled out his pain, before the small ball seemingly enveloped him before exploding in a mass of light. Nothing was left when it was over, she stood straight and looked at her right hand before making a fist, "Two more.....I'll save them....he didn't seem like a worthy enough fighter anyways, but I accepted the challenge and won." She was about to move away from the ledge when it suddenly gave out from under her.
~Close By~
Kraivin paused in mid flight, feeling a slight surge in power. It was strong yes, but not enough to take on B classes yet, or anything stronger for that matter. He started over to the direction of the power surge, his slow flight a bit more cautious now.

Kiera blinked in surprise at the attack. She glanced at her brother, both thinking the same thing. This human wasn't normal, no, she had spirit energy, which meant that she might be the new Spirit Detective. Red eyes snapped back to where the woman was, hearing the sound of falling rocks. Before Cyrus could stop his sister, the black haired kitsune had jumped down, drawing a seed. A brief flash of ki, and a vine had wrapped around her upper arm. She hit the ground on her knees, the vine shooting in two directions. One dug into the ground while the other shot towards the woman and wrapping around her ankle. Cyrus jumped down also, moving to help his sister. The younger kitsune looked down, shouting, "Standing on a ledge like that is not a very brilliant idea, especially considering the chance of a rock slide."

Kinji was shocked and hadn't yelled at all when something wrapped around her leg and she came to a halt. She looked down her body....well up if you consider she was upside down...and followed a vine that was tightly gripping her as to not let her slip and followed the vine up to the ones whom had saved her. Her eyes blinking slightly as she listened to the one's voice calling down to her. Unable to help herself she called back, "Yeah I'll remember that next time when I'm battling a blood thirsty beast on the edge of a cliff."
Sarcasm littered her words, as a soft sigh followed soon after. She turned slightly before grabbing the cliff side. She turned herself right side up before crabbing hold on the vine that still clung to her. This time she was greatful her hat didn't fall off, or she would have lost it and probably had been unable to find.....if she ever survived that fall. Though she had fallen before to get here she was unsure how she had survived that one as well.
~Elsewhere~
Kraivin landed on a dead tree that lingered at the forests edge. Though what he saw made him raise an eyebrow. Two Kitsunes sat at the cliffs edge with a young silver haired girl half way down the cliff side, with a vine wrapped around his ankle. He folded his wings and waited to see what would happen.

Kiera laughed as she tugged on the vine. She looked up at her twin, who sighed before grabbing a hold of the green vine. He wrapped it around his hand before pulling it up. He leaned over the side slightly, holding out a hand silently to the girl. The black haired kitsune smiled, gratefully, as she shouted down to the girl, "Yes, well, you should not wander into areas that are unfamiliar. You never know who or what you'll run into. Can you grab my brother's hand? He can pull you up."

She was unsure why but she felt amused by kitsunes. She chuckled softly and took a hold of the male kitsune's hand, "Well....considering I fell into this strange place by sheer accident....I could say wandering was a better idea then standing still, who knew what saw me considering I seemingly fell from the sky." she joked lightly when her senses picked up another demon nearby also none hostile for the time being. "Where am I anyways?" and then as if remembering something she also told them her name, "Oh....and I'm Kinji....Kinji Marimay."
Kraivin leapt down from his his high perch to a lower one, "Yes indeed. You had caught my attention, human." he said in a soft baritone, yet it was also a little lighter in pitch at the same time. Yet an odd sense of gentleness came from his words as well.

Cyrus pulled the female up before standing. He glanced over at the appearance of another demon, one that wasn't hostile. Kiera smiled politely at the girl as the vine shrunk back into its seed form. The black haired kitsune stood, putting the seed away. She glanced over at the winged demon as she replied to the girl, "True enough. My name is Kiera, and this silent man is my twin, Cyrus."
Cyrus glanced over but kept silent. He was silent like their dark haired parent was. He normally let his younger twin take care of the talking. He thought it was amusing that Kiera looked like Hiei but had the ability and personality of Kurama while he was the opposite, looking like their red haired parent and was like the dark haired parent in power and personality.

Kinji chuckled softly, "Well it's nice to meet you both." She looked over to the winged demon and smirked, "Mother always said I drew to much unwanted attention. Though I don't care if I did or not," she shrugged slightly as she looked back over the ridge, "Now how to get down from her safely without breaking my neck in the process."
Kraivin stared silently before speaking again, "Such a familiar attitude.....you remind me awfully of my father." He retorted before stating his name as well, "And I am Kraivin."
"Great....I'm being compaired to a demon's father.....Well it's nice to meet you to Kraivin," she sighed and decided to walk along the ridge to find an easier way down...or whether the ridge slopped down or not.
