Arona finshed her classes for the day and gone back to the Gryffindor tower to dump her school books in her trunk. She glanced outat the window at the heavy rain and scoffed. She grabed the mood color chainging ink and one of her two wrighiting books.
With the ink and book in hand she went back down to the common room from the girls dorm. The common room was oddly emptey but Arona didn't mind it. "They must be at the Great Hall or the library or something." she said to herself and sat a table by the window. Facing away from the fire place.

Siianna came into the common room wearing a scowl. Of course it'd have rain on the day she had some free time to go practice. She missed her swords practice but sighed as it couldn't be helped. She noticed one of the girls from the other day in the main hall and greeted her. " Hello. Arona, right?"

Arona looked up and nodded "Yeah that's right." she said. "Gess I'm not the only one up here." she chuckled lightly and closed the book. "Siianna... or Sii right?" she asked back as she corked the mood ink.
She cleaned off the quill and then looked at Sii, and saw the scowl on her face. "Something Rong?" she asked with a quriked eyebrow.

Sii sat down on the couch across from Arona. "That's right." She smiled and shook her head while looking out the window. " Not really, I mean it's not like we can change the weather." She leaned back and let the rest of her disappointment out. " So what are you working on?" Nods towards the quill and paper

Arona looked back out the window. "Now that would be a neet spell." she said with a smerk. She then fround at the question and put her hand on the leather book. "Nothing of impotince." she said pushing it out of Sii's sight. She was a little releaved that it was the story she was working on and not her dairy but she still didn't want people to see it yet.
Arona looked back out the window then at Sii. "So what did you want to do, that you can't on acount of the weather?" she asked.

Sii shrugged not wanting to push the subject. " Oh I was wanting to go out and practice with my sword." She unclasped the little figurine around her neck and in a moment it was a full sized sword. " I heard non magical things weren't allowed so I couldn't bring my own sword. Thankfully wizards don't put much or a price on things like this so it was cheap." She said a word to the sword and it shrank back down where she clasped it back in place.

Arona blinked at the sword amazed "That's so cool." she said with a smerk. "Yeah I heard that too, but wouldn't normal swords fall under magical things even if they don't have magic power? It's not like all our clothing are magic." she said with a shrug. "Still you'd think they'd have more sport options or something." she said pulling the clover out from behind her ear and twurlling it a bit.

" I'd agree but no the sword couldn't come. As for the sport options that would be totally awesome, but I doubt there's enough interest in sword sparing. It's a pretty outdated interest." She smiled at the thought but shook her head. "So what hobbies do you have?" She was quite enjoying this mundane conversation, no one needed a shoulder to cry on or someone to help them with something, it was a nice break.

Siianna smiled as Arona went into her list of hobbies then shook her head at the last part. " I don't do fencing. This is more like broad sword type of sparing. Those fencing lances wouldn't do too much if required to defend one's self from an enemy." She'd seen fencing and it looked like a bunch of stuck up snobs p***y footing with one another and not doing any useful training.

Siianna thought for a moment. " I suppose it could help your dexterity and maneuverability but the thrusts and things just wouldn't work correctly for a straight on defense or attack. Not to mention the foils are meant to bend not stab through." She leaned back into the chair and crossed her ankles in front of her.

Arona looked at her confused. "Foils?" she asked not knowing the heck that was but she didn't completely care what it was ether. "Ah well, aren't practice swords not meant to stab anyway?" she asked thinking about it.

"Yes practice swords aren't meant to deal true wounds but they do hurt an aweful bit if you get hit with them." She changed her position in the chair slightly. " Though I prefer to practice with the real deal. After all every sword is balanced differently and I would hate to defend myself poorly because I wasn't used to the sword. But enough about me, what do you like to read and write about?" She leaned forward obviously interested in Arona's response.

Arona thought about it "I'm working on a story. I also wright a few poems but I don't know if I am ready to show anyone ether book yet. Manly because the poems are in my journal." she said with a nod. "And since the story's not really done yet doesn't seem right to show it to someone yet." she added. "As to what I like to read something easy with a good story, and plot. I'm pretty open to any form of music as long as it's got a good beat you can Dance to." she said with a smile.
