Camelot was not quite used to powering up and going out on patrol. He wasn't sure what he was patrolling for, for one, and told himself to focus on what he didn't know. An odd order, but it helped him find a direction, and a reason to go out night after night.
He didn't know why now, with all the difficult times he had been through, all the horrifying moments he had faced without powers, all the people he had seen hurt and could do nothing to hurt, he suddenly had this ability to turn into someone else. Himself, but stronger. Dressed as, of all things, a knight. A Page.
He didn't know how all of his senshi friends were, and he wanted to find out. He wanted to help them. He remembered how it had felt, that strange sensation in the back of his head, when he was fighting with Themis on the roof. That was how he could tell if a senshi was nearby. He would follow that feeling, if it ever happened again, and he would see if anyone could help him understand things better.
He didn't know when he might run into trouble, if he would feel them coming too. It made him keep his guard up. As best as he knew how. But he was still very new to the whole thing, so he was missing some critical confidence.
Still, he was out, he was walking a dark street on his own, powered up and wondering what he might encounter. He was nervous, to say the least, and he stuck to shadows and corners.

Niflhel had been sitting against a fire escape waiting to see who came by. After his encounter with Scheelite and the face the other boy had gotten a little close for comfort Niflhel was attempting to stay out of the reach of anyone else for a little while.
However, another power signature peeked his interest. He looked this way and that before pausing watching one particular direction, it wasn't an officer of the Negaverse from what he could tell. He frowned softly, the person also didn't hold what he could tell was a senshi signature. The only other thing he could think of was it was another knight, since he knew what Youma had felt like as well.
His brow lofted watching to see who it was. "Nice weather isn't it?" He quarried, from his perch.

Camelot let out a yelp of surprise and he looked up to see Niflhel nearby. He blinked, then took a breath and let his nerves calm themselves. Only then did he feel the energy signature of the other. It wasn't like a senshi, and though he had not yet met a nega while in this form, he didn't get any evil vibes.
He assumed that meant this person was like him, but he couldn't be sure and didn't want to just assume. He cleared his throat, nodding his head.
"It's nicer than I thought. Are you... ah... is this your area?" He tried. Did they have designated patrol areas? Was he stepping in someone elses 'turf'? There was so much to learn, and he was making it up as he went along. He would have to find Themis again, and ask him some questions. Or maybe, if this stranger was like him, he might know a bit more.
It might have been a bit of a blow to the ego of anyone else to have to ask people who were younger than him, some substantially, for advice and help, but not Tony. He had seen what senshi could do long before he had been given this chance to help them, so he was more than happy to yield to the knowledge of anyone who might be able to help him.
Once he was sure he was with a friend, of course.
"I was just, ah... passng through..." Nice and casual. He noted that he needed to work on a new kind of professionalism, so he didn't scream 'newbie' at first sight.

Niflhel lofted a brow, curiously when the other yelped. "Hm.. if you pay more attention to the power sources you wouldn't be caught off guard." He made his way from his perch.
"Yeah, it is nicer than they said it'd be on the news as well." Niflhel paused, "Hm...I don't think there are Areas honestly." He answered with a chuckle before shaking his head.
The boy was looking at the older man curiously, before shrugging, sizing the other up, taking note of the sheild. "Knight?" He questioned before giving a pause to think, "I'm Niflhel, of Saturn."

Camelot nodded his head sheepishly.
"I'm still... getting the hang of that..." he admitted carefully. He chuckled, getting the feeling that this was definitely not an enemy. Unless he was just mocking Camelot for being a newbie. Which wasn't unheard of, but also just mean.
He smiled, relaxing a bit.
"That's good. I thought there might be some more... established... people running around, that might get uppity if a newbie wanders into their. Uhm. Zones." He could only run on assumptions, and now that he knew that one was gone he marked it off in his head. He could patrol around where he wanted, and it would be fine.
Good.
He looked at his shield and nodded his head slowly.
"It seems so," he said thoughtfully, considering his get up. When the other introduced himself, offering his hand when Niflhel was close enough to take it. "Camelot. Of... Earth." He hadn't thought about it before, but that came to him as well. It sounded like he was just saying it, because that's where he was, but in fact it was true.

Niflhel nodded, "It takes some getting use to." He knew all to well when he was monster chasing that he had to actually stop and pay attention. "It becomes second nature after a while. Difficult to tell who's who until you're nearly on top of them, but it's there."
He gave a soft nod, "Mm, I hardly doubt they would, and if they do they're pricks anyways." Niflhel didn't seem to mind saying things how they were, "It's sorta like, 'well it doesn't have your name written on it we can be here if we want'."
It was sorta true he hadn't seen anyone's name on any beat. He smiled, looking over the symbols. "So that symbol is for earth then?" He asked to be sure peering at the circle with a cross in it. "Nice to meet you Camelot..." He had to resist making King Aurthur jokes, in all honesty he liked King Aurthur.

Camelot nodded his head. He was slowly learning the basics, and certainly going out enough to pick up lessons. Sometimes the hard way, sometimes when he ran into another person like him, or, more commonly, senshi who were fairly used to the game.
At least he was a quick study.
"Uhm," he looked at the symbol, nodding his head. He didn't know, but it made sense, maybe. "I guess so! Ah. Pleasure to be met. I'm still not used to... you know. The two name thing. Or anything, to be honest. But I feel... like I need to get used to it, as fast as I can. There are people that need my help. Do you feel that way?"
He was interested in learning what another person like him might be doing with their skills. All Tony could think was to help the senshi he owed, and the ones he had not yet met, and see if he couldn't make some kind of a difference in this war they were fighting. Help them to live normal, mostly teenage lives.

Niflhel was watching Camelot, "Yeah..." He paused as he pulled out the handle of his chain which was in the shape of an h, "I had to do some research but found out this was Saturn's symbol. Best guess is they're related to the planet you're technically from."
Hoping that explanation would help better. "Yeah, the two name thing gets awkward. Specially around the negaverse, however, senshi I think are okay to divulge that information if there's one you really trust."
He paused when the other asked the question about if he felt people needed help. There seemed to be a moment where he was thinking, "I suppose I do." He coughed, "At least the senshi, hard to be a normal person and try to help them when you know they need it but they insist that you get in the way." He'd had that happen too many times. "Though... at the same time, I feel like there's something we can do for the negaverse as well. I don't know what... but they aren't all bad."
His eyes drifted up to the roof tops, and he tilted his head. "Huh...." He seemed interested in something as he turned around to watch for a second, "Must be seeing things..." He shook his head, hoping maybe he hadn't actually saw anything lurking on that roof.
"But yeah, helping's important. Though sometimes observing is too when you want to learn what your up against."

Camelot looked thoughtful. The planet they were technically from. He couldn't imagine being from anywhere but Earth, but perhaps he was thinking in a bit too simple a way. That was beyond him still, but he was learning more and more.
He smiled when Niflhel mentioned giving his identity to senshi he might trust.
"I certainly hope that's the case," he chuckled. He had first powered up right in front of a senshi, though he was glad it had been a good friend of his. There were many senshi he trusted with his life, and Themis not least of all. In fact, he felt compelled to go to those whose identities he had learned before all this happened, so they might be even.
It seemed fair.
He watched as the other knight thought, tilting his head. He wasn't sure he agreed flat out, but there was a point there. Even he had met Negaverse agents who hadn't attacked him straight out, or even talked to him.
"I know they're not all bad, but what they do, and have to do, is the problem. I am certain there is a way to end this war between them, without having all this death and their lives getting ruined. I mean, look at you. You don't look like you're much older than most of them are, on either side. That, I don't know. To me that's just... not fair."
He sighed. He hadn't noticed anything on the roof which meant, of course, that something was there. Watching the strange duo, and waiting to drop down on them for a snack. Or a full out meal, considering there were two.
It crept closer, moving down the side of the building, out of direct line of sight.

Niflhel nodded, "Indeed, but from the looks of things, and what I know of, Senshi don't kill people so it seems okay."
He nodded, "I know," He paused and coughed slightly, "I ended up saving one from a senshi because I didn't think the senshi wanted to actually kill the officer." He shook his head, "Though in the first place the officer shouldn't insult someone's mother."
"I might be a bit older than some of them," He thought about Aurora, "Most of them aren't out of their teens as far as I know." he frowned, and shook his head. However, he was a bit on edge now that Niflhel had thought he'd seen something, man he missed being able to track youma.
"And it's really not. They're not old enough to sign up to go war in this country, yet alone smoke or drink and they get pulled into whatever sort of war this is." He was still gathering information from both sides that he could.

Camelot nodded his head, but his impulse to continue the conversation was impeded. Though the topic was interesting and he could talk about it for a while, thinking things out and putting them into words for the first time, it seemed duty would call first.
"Do you get the feeling there's something lurking...?" He asked, not meaning to interrupt the talk, but his eyes were glued on the building where he had seen the shadow.
Then a thick, discolored fog rolled in and Camelot found himself gagging. At first he thought it was poison, straight out of a classic B movie. Some thick, green gas that was noxious and was either going to kill them or knock them out.
Instead, it just made him cough and gag, his eyes watering. The smell was disgusting, and he felt his stomach do a flip. He felt like he was going to throw up.
"There's something there!"
Which was probably obvious at this point. The youma responsible for the thick gas. It had a thick body, rotund, but stood on two feet. Its limbs were short, though its back legs looked stronger than its arms, and it had a thick tail behind it. It had a long, raccoon like face, long fangs, and small eyes.
It was almost cute, disregarding the stench and its desire to kill the two knights.

Niflhel had resided himself to listening, to Camelot and for noises being made other wise. "Yeah... I thought I saw something on the building..."
It took a moment but he noticed the gasses before poor Camelot, trying to cover his nose. Which was, rather impossible, Niflhel would have to make a note to carry a bandanna or something with him from now on. The choking gasses got past his sleeve which he was trying to cover his mouth with and he started coughing as well. "Really? I wouldn't've guessed."
The page grabbed his chain from his side, "Watch out." He choked as he slung it past the other and towards the monster. Hoping to grab it by a limb, and maybe stop the smell... it couldn't get worse right?

The Page of Earth coughed and gagged, trying to fill his lungs with a fresh gasp of air, but unable to find on. The stench was thicker than the actual gas. and it was making his eyes water and sting. Something told him it wasn't poisonous, considering he hadn't died or fallen stricken to the floor yet, but he had been wrong before.
Holding his arm up over his face, he tried his best to clear his vision and block his nose from the scent. It felt like the vile odor had burned itself into his nostrils, and he would never get the scent out. Or off his clothes.
Had he just been skunked?
Youma skunked.
"Oh, God, this is awful," Camelot whined. He pulled himself to the side when he saw the other attacking, shifting his shield on his arm so he could fight properly. The youma didn't seem happy with these two trying to fight it, and it ducked down to its fours, its large tail sticking out over its back. A thick cloud of gas burst forward from the tail itself, in self defense.
"Ack!" Camelot announced. "We need to hit the tail!"

Niflhel's aim sucked, specially in this cloud. He was trying his best to not breath any more than he absolutely had to. "We need, to get out in open space..." He managed to choke out grabbing Camelot by the arm.
"Come on." He looked back, "Hey stinky if you want us come and get us." He yelled out trying to provoke the youma into a game of cat and mouse. Aiming his chain for it's head, he wasn't going to aim for the tail until they were out in the open, luckily Niflhel knew a park wasn't TOO far away. "I know where a park is. Maybe we'll be lucky and have fresh air."

Camelot stumbled with Niflhel, coughing as he went. It felt like his throat was coated in the gas, burning like acid. He was coughing badly but he had taken a large dose of it without guarding himself. It was like swallowing a skunk, he imagined.
The youma followed after them, not happy but feeling better about things now that it had them on the run. It wasn't exactly a runner, with its stumpy legs, and it didn't seem to know if it was supposed to be on its back legs or on all four. Two were too stumpy, but the curve in its back seemed to dictate being four legged.
It was like it had only been half formed. And it was not happy about it.
Camelot nodded and ran with them, looking back as the chain seemed to snag the youma and it resisted, spraying gas everywhere. At least they were out of the alley, which allowed the gas to spread. The youma had the chain in its mouth, lashing its head back and forth. Camelot turned around and ran back to smack the thing in the head with his shield.
