Cial's home is a quaint little cottage. Two bedrooms make up the back of the house, the front is one big open room, with a small kitchen in the corner. The sofa has been moved to sit against the wall so the room isn't broken up like it normally is. The ceiling is high and has bare rafters. Ceiling fans help keep it cool. There is a table set up with snacks and punch. Balloons litter the ceiling and furniture. The colors are light and muted. Soft, but slightly masculine in feel. Sparse decorating. Lots of things that are star-shaped.

Cial sat on the porch, her hands in her lap. She even was wearing a little makeup. A dress! When she'd seen what her dad brought her she'd groaned and slammed the door in his face. He hadn't liked what she did to it either. A smirk played across her lips at that. The cute dress was distressed, a wife-beater like tank dress underneath it painted with silver stars. Vertical striped tights and her beloved sneakers. A few necklaces and bracelets and the look was complete you could say. Everything was black, grey, or silver besides her shoes. They didn't match at all but she didn't care. She'd wear them till her feet didn't fit them. They'd been a gift.
She sighed and stared at her bitten but painted nails. A party. Her father was sick of her refusing contact with the other children. Not going to class, basically homeschooling. So he'd done this. Now she felt like some weird doll out here waiting to greet people she didn't know. Her wings tucked tight to her back, tail wrapped around her left leg. She was terrified. No one would come, this was the worst idea her silly dad had ever had... but she owed him. So Cial sat and waited.
Meanwhile her dad buzzed around inside, making everything perfect, checking his supplies. They would probably be stocked for months with leftovers. He tended to be all about the overkill. As he passed a mirror he made a face at himself, wondering if any moms would come, before laughing.

"Moooom," The cobwebbed-eyed child whined, "Why are we going here, again?"
"Don't know," The hybrid female answered honestly, "An invite was sent out, pretty much said "calling all freaks", and here we are. Besides!" She tickled the little incubus's nose with the tip of her skunk tail, causing him to giggle and playfully bat the tail away. "We just returned from an adventure which involved going into the Aztec ruins and finding that wonderful maze!"
Ialu quirked an eyebrow, giving his colorful mother a look. "Are you talking about the maze in which we were almost tapped danced on by some kind of freakish minotaur-thing from the swamp hybrid or the maze in which we were almost made fleshy pin cushions by twiced barbed stilts?"
"I'm talking about the very same maze in which we discovered ANOTHER puzzle! Which we are going to explore once you're older."
"D'aaaw, why not tomarrow?"
"Because YOU need to get reaquainted with your people! I'm not going to isolate you and make you alienated to your own kind, honey."
"I'm not alienated..." Ialu pouted, sticking his hands in his gradient black and blood red pants pockets. So what Ialu's been spending time with his family more than other Meta? So what he hasn't made a Meta friend yet? He was off having too much fun with his mother to care and to be honest, if she hadn't brought it to her attention, he would've completely forgotten that there were, in fact, other Meta just like him out there. His mother was a rare commodity, she said so herself, so she figured she wouldn't want him to experience the loneliness of not having others just like you around you. What a load of crack!
How many can say they've met the Kraken and lived? Or peeled off the barnacles of the greastest sea beast of them all? Or discovered the REAL whale that ate Jonah (its in the sky, by the way)?
Surely no one would understand, and who would want to listen to Ialu anyway? He's been told many times before he was a chatter box and that, thusly, got on people's nerves. Last then ANYONE wanted to do was get him excited, for then he wouldn't know how to shut up. He'd very much prefer to keep to himself, really.
"Ah! That must be the house! Annnnnd..." Anastaija took a deep whiff of the air, streaked tail wagging. "Ooo! I smell someone who's just like you, Lu!"
"Hm?" Ialu's shattered gaze followed that of his attentive mother's, finding a purple gal sitting on the stoop of her home. Mama was right, she did smell just like Ialu. Huh. She was pretty. Briefly he wondered if she's ever seen the pornographic depictions of Greek art. "Do I have to put on my good boy face?" He teased, earning him a swat of a fluffy tail.
"Just keep that shadow of yours under control and we'll be fine." The duo came upon Cial, Anastaija smiling with crocodile teeth. "Hello there, sugar! We're here for the party?"

Lavender eyes watched under lashes, as the pair approached her house. Legs hesitated to pull her up, but where finally defeated and Cial stood. She waved and plastered something like a smile upon pinkish purple lips. Her eyes mostly resting on the mother at first. Tilting her head and taking in the woman. Tail unwrapped from her leg and twitched behind her nervously.
Addressing the interesting woman first, "Hello, ma'am. Welcome to my home." She nodded politely and turned her head slightly to the son. An incubus. She giggled and scrunched her nose.
"I am Cial. And you are horned boy?" He was colorful, not that she could talk much, though. Her eyes followed the patterns on his wings, to the patterns in his eyes. Blinking a few times, a bit unnerved by it.
"Well regardless, I should probably be the welcoming hostess, let you both in." She pushed the door open and kicked a potted plan to keep the door open, balloons tied to said pot. Calling to her father as she waited for them in the doorway, "Dad try not to scare the guests."

The spearmint gum Ialu stuck to the roof of his mouth suddenly made itself present by how he blew a rather large bubble before it popped obnoxiously. He gave her a soft smile, fluttering his wings a bit. "My name is Ialu, but please call me Lu, m'lady Cial." Yes, he turned on the charm, it couldn't be helped, it was in his blood. Following after his mother, he took in the surroundings with a scrutinizing eye. What a cute, quiant, sleepy little cottage she had. He eyed the punch with a promise in his eyes that meant he was going to drink half for himself.
Overall, it was a family home, a small family home. Quite a far cry from the chaos of his own home.
"I like your home," Anastaija said, nose twitching to the scents, "Tis be cute. Can't wait to meet your father!" Finally, someone whom she can discuss little demonic issues with!
Ialu chewed mechanically on his gum, looking at pretty purple Cial. "So, what's the ocassion for such an event?"

He looked up to the door, bounding forward, falling over himself to greet the woman. He almost did a double take, but he'd gotten used to seeing odd sights back home. He cracked his winning grin and offered a hand. Freckles dotted his face, dark brown eyes friendly and welcoming. "My name is Seb, or Sebastien. I'm Cial's dad, welcome to our home. We are pleased to have a lovely lady in our home!" He winked and gestured to the punch. "Feel free."
Cial raised a brow at the m'lady, watching her father as she answered Lu's question. Internally groaning, he was doing it again! 'Ignore him.' The petite girl turned her full attention to the incubus. Her tail swinging back and forth, hands folded behind her back.
"Well, this party is honor of me not being very sociable. See, I'm not very good at being this." Her hands coming to poke her horns, and to gesture to her wings and tail. "I used to go to human school. Dad wanted me to get to know my own kind, stop pretending to be something, I am not."
She made a face, "I didn't ask to have to start over. It is hard enough, I'm not like most of you. My powers... I'm not fancy." She wondered if she should be more friendly, he seemed pleasant enough, but the risk of rejection was too great. Better to be rude, than fail.

How interesting... "Human school, huh? I'll admit... I've never been to human school." He's socialized with humans, never went to school with them. "My mother already figured I was going to be weird, so why subject me to such social torture? I couldn't blend in even if I wanted to. See my eyes?" He pointed to the corner of one of his spider webbed pretties. "I've always had these. People assume they're weird contacts, mother assumes them by saying they are. Of course this gets her strange looks and makes them question her parenting decisions, but that's all fine, we know the truth."
"Nice to meet you Sebastien, my name is Anastaija," She said, giving him a firm and friendly handshake, "You have a nice home! Better than my hole in the dirt. I swear, cave spiders are so persistent." Her black fox ear twitched as she figured out something to say. "So! How's life having a little succubi kiddie?"
Ialu studied Cial's distressed features, finding them somewhat... amusing. How strange... "Fancy in what way, m'lady? Believe me, there's nothing fancy about having a sleeping disorder." He grinned a pointed grin. "See why my skin is they it is? I'm not all that healthy, from lack of sleep. I don't mind though 'cause I'm always munching on someone's dreams to keep me hyper. Better than coffee, I assure you." He had a BAD trip on coffee once and he didn't want to experience it again any time soon. "I have a shadow that does mischief when I'm not paying attention to it. Ever hear of the Halloween fiasco? That was Playmate's -my shadow's name- handiwork. I have to fret about keeping my wings free of parasites, make sure I don't do a face plant into a bowl of soup... I'd say though, its not that bad. I mean, I wish I had a tail."

She flushed a bit, feeling silly. Of course someone who looked like this didn't go to human school. "I didn't look, I had a pendant. It made me look human. I had blue eyes, I liked them that way." Cial looked away, she had a hard time still accepting herself. Her lavender freckles and markings. The tail. "Your eyes are cool though. I knew a kid who would have killed for contacts like them. Though he was a tad creepy, and I am sure you... aren't." She groaned and shrugged off the awkward comment.
Was she comfortable talking about her powers? She hadn't even told Dad. Cial was quiet for a moment as she thought.
"Can I call you Ana? Thank you, I can understand the appeal of a cave! It sounds nice, though maybe not for me. I tried to take Cial camping once. Did not go over well. Lesson learned. I guess the thing I've learned is, she'll do what I say but she will definitely have something to say about it. She is still young though, I worry about what is to come as those teen years hit. Her race and all." Seb smiled and grabbed a cup of punch for himself sipping at it. "And for you?"
She clicked her tongue as she decided to go ahead and admit her new found powers. "I, well. I heal. Really fast. I don't get sick. Nothing fancy." Cial rocked back on her heels staring at the carpet. "Having a tail ain't so great. I knock things over a lot."

A limo pulled around and up to Cial's house. Although there were plenty of teens inside, Isolde was the first one out, clutching her invitation in one hand and a cute little leather bag in the other. Her dress was a bit on the short side, but Kei said she looked amazing and if she couldn't trust Kei's fashion sense, she didn't know whose she could.
Isolde's heels clicked as she went up do the door, and, despite the potted plant, decided it was most polite to rap her knuckles on the door jam so she could be invited in.

Surprised probably wasn't the right word, but it worked as a descriptor for when Aiden found the invite to a party in her mail. She didn't know anyone... well, she knew Edmund and she'd met Keiran and Willow at the Secret Santa event, and they were both very nice, but really... Edmund was the only person she really knew. So, she was more than happy to accept the invite. She was beginning to feel like a burden to Edmund, so this was the best way to make new friends.
She dressed herself in a red dress with a few ruffled layers, black leggings, and simple red flats with little bows on the ends. She figured that red had looked nice during the Secret Santa event, so why not now?
It took her awhile to find the place, but when she did she held back a little bit when a limo pulled up. Well... that definitely made her feel out of place. Maybe it was a mistake? After a moment or two of debating she forced herself to continue onward. She could at least alert the host or hostess that their invite had gone to the wrong person if that was the case.River had also received an invite, which... also stunned him since he hadn't exactly been out in the last several months. He'd asked his father about it, and Eno had encouraged him to go to the party. Well, if Eno was saying he should go, he figured it was the right thing to do. Normally his father was so... protective about him. So, he pulled on a light blue sweater, some yellow jeans, gray Velcro sneakers and his sad cloud necklace he'd begged his dad to get him awhile back. The invite had mentioned formal, but... he didn't really own anything formal so this was as good as it was going to get.
Upon arriving he noticed that he wasn't the only one to have gotten an invite, and thankfully he at least knew the girl that was up on the porch. Though he wondered if she would remember him. He was much less hesitant than Aiden was about approaching the house, in fact, he actually passed her on the way up to the porch. "Hi... you got invited too?" He came to a stop next to Isolde and put up a smile. Perhaps she'd remember and he wouldn't have to introduce himself and feel like a fool.

Not too long ago five invitations had appeared in the mail, one for each of Sun's children. Their mother handed them over while they were all home on the weekend. After they'd each torn into their envelopes, all feeling a little excited because it wasn't often that they received mail addressed just to them, they discovered they had all been invited to the same event. It was a party for a girl that they had yet to meet, though apparently she went to the same school as them, and came from the same place. They all decided to go, even Edmund who wasn't that fond of dressing up or parties. All five of them poured out of Isolde's limo one by one. Edmund was dressed in his usual standby for events which was a black button up shirt with a black and white checkered tie. On the lower half he had black dress pants and black dress shoes too. Keiran had tried to convince him to wear something new and different but Edmund was stubbornly opposed to that change. Gavin was wearing his own version of dress clothes, which were a mix of modern things and clothes that reminded him of his fairy heritage. Keiran had probably put the most care into his appearance and was wearing a red button down vest of sorts that looked like it might have been designed for a woman, but he was going to rock it anyway. His pants were black leather and clung like a second skin showing off his shapely legs without leaving them bare. Strapped onto his feet was a strappy pair of red stilettos which matched his shirt as well as his nails which were painted red for the occasion too. Willow was newer to this whole...dressing up and making yourself look pretty thing but she felt like she was getting the hang of it, with Keiran and Isolde's help of course. She had picked a pink dress and a pair of purple and fuschia flats. She'd even accessorized with a bracelet. She was wearing no make-up though because she still wasn't really into that. The youngest of the five, Nadia, was still a child. She was the only one that was the same age as the party's hostess. Her dress was brown reddish brown colored and a bit drapey. On her feet she wore sandals, because proper children didn't wear heels like her freak brother Kei did when he was a kid. Kei was the first out of the limo out of the five of them. His eyes scanned around for Ask's familiar four wings, but it seemed that the object of his affection had not yet managed to Travel to the party yet, unless of course he was inside. Sighing a soft sigh of disappointment at the lack of Ask thus far, Kei trotted after Isolde who was knocking on the door jam. "I think we can just go in, the door is propped open after all." He turned to regard the boy with the fluffy hair as he spoke to Isolde. Kei thought he looked familiar but wasn't totally sure. Gavin was out of the limo next, all smiles and looking forward to the party. One never knew, there might be some hot girls and guys floating around he could flirt with. Besides some of his friends were possibly coming later, so at the least he could probably hang out with one of them. Willow was right on his heels and the two of them went ahead of Kei and Isolde and let themselves in. An open door was an invitation after all. Gavin scanned the room for either targets for his flirting or one of his friends. Willow meanwhile was scanning the room for the second half of that list, hoping that maybe Theo was going to make an appearance while she'd bothered to dress up and everything. The siblings ended up splitting up as Gavin headed towards the two adults, one of which had to be the host or hostess. They both seemed to be attractive, which was also a plus. He sidestepped the two of them in favor of getting some punch and overhearing their conversation so he could figure out which one lived here. This left Willow wondering where she should go next. The best option seemed to be the two children who were talking to each other. The girl had to be Cial who's party it was. She walked over to the two of them with a pleasant smile on her face. "Hello there! I'm Willow." She turned towards Cial. "You must be Cial right?" She gave a smile to the boy too so he didn't feel ignored. Nadia was the next of the siblings to make her way out of the limo. She stood there staring at the little group forming on the porch and tried to decide if she really felt like going in there. Edmund stepped out behind her, also wondering a similar thing. As Edmund's eyes fell on Nadia though he placed an encouraging hand on her shoulder. "I'm sure this is going to be fun. Ready to go in?" This earned him a bit of a sigh from Nadia but also a small smile. "I'll head in. You should say hi to that girl over there." Nadia inclined her head towards Aiden before swiftly heading into the house. Edmund looked surprised as he noticed Aiden standing there and headed over to her. "Hey Aiden, I didn't know you were invited too." He greeted his best friend with a smile. "You um... look nice." He felt like he should complement her because she did look nice, and a gentlemen should complement a lady when she looked especially nice. The hesitation came because it was still a bit odd for him sometimes to think of his formerly male friend as female. All the same, he had meant what he said.

Ask of course couldn't help but remember the last party he'd been to. The halloween disaster. He'd been shanked in front of all of his friends, and Gavin had laughed at his halo boxers. Ugh... This time he'd planned on accidentally "losing" his invitation but just as he was about to make it go poof into the trashcan he'd been caught with it by the worst person possible. Kei had not only spotted him with the invitation, but he also knew that Ask had nothing to wear to a nice party. The perfect, flawless, inescapable excuse for him to drag Ask out shopping.
The result was actually rather nice, for Kei. Ask thought the pants were too tight, the shirt too restrictive and the shoes too ... something. The only part he liked was the belt. Belts were useful, and kept him from getting shanked again. Oh man he was doomed. Quietly he Traveled to Cial's house and slipped inside, hoping to avoid everyone and stay unnoticed.

Cial winced as the people started coming, unsure how she was supposed to handle all this. She didn't even know them. Not one friendly face, besides her Dad to relate to. 'Oh well, stop whining and just tell them all to get inside!' She smiled politely at the boy she'd been speaking to, "I'm sorry, a hostess is never done. Kill me now." With that Cial poked her head out the door.
"Hey guys, stop lagging you are welcome to come inside, have some punch? No punching each other though please. I heard this place is rowdy." She raised a brow, attempting some sort of humor, and generally feeling rather silly for it.
Pulling herself back inside she scanned those who had already entered. A lot of her guests were older, and she wasn't quite sure what to say to them. Cial felt suddenly very shy when a girl greeted her. "Oh, yes I am. Nice to meet you Willow, welcome to my home."

Theo was a man on a mission tonight. He had received an invitation to a party being hosted by a girl he had never met, meaning that this was a literal ticket to a free-for-all. He had already come to the conclusion that everyone had gotten an invite - as he had checked with his friends first - so of course he was going. And he was going to be smart about it. Theo figured that if he got there early enough, he could raid the snack table and scope out the ladies far before his sister showed up. And she WOULD show up. He saw the word 'formal' on the invitation, and there was never an opportunity to dress up that his snakefaced sister passed up. So he would just have to have his fun before she came and stomped all over it.
That meant Theo had done his math by the time he snuck up on the house, taking lazy liberties on the dress code by wearing a black dress shirt untucked over his everyday tight jeans. That had a hole in the knee. By all rights he should've been slapped for that outfit decision, but he knew the chances of that were slim. Spotting the group gathered at the door, Theo eased himself over and made a smooth attempt to brush past the majority of them without drawing too much attention. Whether he succeeded or not, he made it inside and immediately started to scope the scene, noting that Gavin was off intending to do God knows what with the adults, and that a girl with familiarly purple hair was greeting someone younger nearby. It also was to be noted that all these chicks were looking their best. Nice.
It was not a coincidence that he stayed particularly near Willow and Cial as he eyed the punch table from across the room, trying to decide whether or not he wanted to raid the food or...interrupt the girls' conversation first.

Cial’s eyes diverted as she waited for the girls reply her young mind enticed to distraction. Meer seconds and she was lost to caring. As another guest entered she watched him. He was far more colorful than most, and by the punch bowl, that one was quite colorful as well. Her eyes drifted back to the black and yellow boy. The one who had a distinct bee theme, a theme! Now she couldn’t very well judge, considering the stars on her garments and adorning her hair. Still a grin crossed her lips. As the older boy approached she watched, assured he did not notice her stare. She was rather short, much to her own frustration. Cial angled her eyes up to him as he stood near them, not yet introducing himself. She knew she had flushed a hue that was pink with a hint of lavender. Making her freckles all the more apparent on her puffed youthful cheeks. A tilt of the head and look up and down his body again before further thought could be pursued. ‘He is cute.’ Very cute. A full grin broke over her lips and face, as she stepped closer to him, holding her hand out expectant of a handshake.
“Hi! I am Cial.”
Her intended conversation with the older girl named Willow forgotten.
