 I am the daughter of the Wolf ....
Arriving after everyone else, Alice wasn;t surprised to find a bonfire with a roasting grizzlie on a pit already there. She placed Chase down, and noticed a Larina awake, her eyes sparkiling happily. Alice changed, and sat next to Larina smiling. "So you're the Alpha here?" Larina smiled at her, and nodded. "I hope you don't mind, but I think I'm going to come with you on the remainder of your quest."

Chase was starting to come around. He heaerd some talking, the crackling of fire, and a nice smell of food. He didn't bother to open his eyes, or get up, since he was still tired and guess he probably couldn't get up. He took a few shallow breaths and started to move to get comfrotable. He pulled his legs closer to his chest, and his arms near his head, as if supporting it. To anybody watching him, even if they were close, Chase would've looked as if he had gone to sleep or something of the sort.

What does it matter to you about us? We're just 'demi-gods' as everybody calls us. Even though some of us aren't." Larina looked at Chase briefly, seeing as he moved. She didn't notice anything, but felt a weird feeling as to why this complete stranger would go out of her way and be the last one to arrive. With her best friend. "And, why, might I ask, and don't care if you oppose, that you would go out of your way to bring back my best friend. You have tons of other people here who could've done it. Why you?" She gave her a glare, though it seemed harsh, is was also questioning. ☿♃♄♅♆♇♈♉♊♋♌♍♎♏♐♑♒♓

Alice caught the defensive look, smiling. She looked at Chase, and a bit of care floated across her face at Chase in his helpless moment. "He's well.... interesting. Especially his secrets when he mumbled on the way here. But he's your Beta from what I gather, and i got the information about what was going on from him."

More than she should be having for soembody she just met. While her gaze faltered, a slight gasp of stun escaped her mouth, but then her glare returned to Alice. "Yeah, I guess you could call him my 'Beta'. And what do you mean, 'Intersting?' Chase is as interesting right now as the dirt. And he doesn't even have secrets." Larina shook her head. "We tell everything to each other. There is no secrets between us." ☿♃♄♅♆♇♈♉♊♋♌♍♎♏♐♑♒♓

Alice smiled, but it wasn't friendly. "Everyone has secrets darling. Even if they don't know it themselves. And we followers of the Wolf Father are different than others. we're primal. We find things interesting, that others might not."

Nik had a small bowl of food and was munching on it. he was too hungry to really care what it was. it had been a bit since they had stopped for food when the chimera attacked. and what little energy he had when the fight started had just about vanished with the adrenaline rush.

"Primal versus Society. We, Society, actually take respect for having secrets, and even if we might want to find out the secrets, we don't prod. Alice huffed. "You don't understand our way of life, Chaoschaser. We know who we believe could be a mate after a moment's glance. Or as you ""Civilized"" folk call it, a boyfriend." She then stood and turned away walking to a nearby rock alone.

Chase was starting to fall asleep, until he heard the argueing. He forced his eyes open, and saw Larina storm off, and Alice move away. He got up, forcing against his better sense, and started to walk over to Larina. His hair was angled wildly, due to being carried here by a wolf girl, and having being planted on the ground, passed out.
Chase gently put his hand on her shoulder. "Hey," He said softly. "What's up?" He smiled gently, and motioned towards an empty log. He stumbled a bit, but sat down, rubbing his legs.
((brb. back in an hour or so. ))

Chase's hands balled in fists. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He instantly regretted telling Alice what was going on. He opened his eyes and looked at Larina. "Don't you dare start with that bullshit Larina. Yeah, I might have secrets, but there ones I've sworn indirectly to keep. If I told you them, then both of us would pay the price. Physically, emotionally, and mentally. And even if it came out, I'm telling you now. I would never try to hurt you that way, but somebody who holds power over the gods, and us. Okay?" His eyes were sincere, and he was telling the truth. His father, no, their father, Chaos, had him indirectly swear not to tell Larina. If he did tell, then she would lose her power at camp, and he would become top-dog. Chase shooke his head, getting up and ignoring the pain, though he stumbled before knealing next to her. He wiped the tear away and hugged her gently. He honestly didn't care if she hurt him, at least she knew he was trying his best.

"Be ready for tommorow. Wolf Girl will be joining us..... Good Night Chase." Larina then walked away to her bed roll, which she pulled into the deeper trees to fall asleep in. ☿♃♄♅♆♇♈♉♊♋♌♍♎♏♐♑♒♓I am the daughter of the Wolf ....
After Larina had gone to bed, Alice approached Chase. "What's wrong Fatetwister? Lion got your tongue?" She asked taking a seat next to him.
