Good evening my dear fellow I Shot'ers. If it hadn't been for Lineoleum we all wouldn't have decided to meet up with each other back in the greatness of Frontier Skies. Yes. It has almost been a year now since we enjoyed the rocky rides of the airships and hunting eggplant.

But Liney has inspired many of us and made us stick together.

That is why, as appreciation for him and as gifts for his birthday, we all must BAND TOGETHER TO MAKE HIM ART!

Yes. Make Liney art. But it'll be a part of a contest as well, so whoever makes some good art will get a prize, too! And I have MONEY (right now I just hit a million) so if your art is WORTHY you will get SHINY GOLD.


But I know we are all antsy and love to draw like crazy mofovo's, right? Of course right.
This contest has two parts!

FIRST PART [you MUST do this part first before you can do the second part!!!!!!]:
draw Lineoleum art ((as in draw him, not something strangely random))
~This includes making it good to the best of your skills
~Make it funny if you want, or make it serious
~It MAY be a comic, but please do not spam me 20 pages. At most 5 different sections. ((you could have 3-5 panels per section if you get what I mean))
~You may include a certain theme, like Frontier Skies, to the drawing if you so wish. It is not required, though.

Please sign all of your art pieces and post them in this thread. =D


PART TWO ((OPTIONAL)):
This is going to be about the other May babies. After you have made Liney his art, you have the option of submitting art of the other people born in May. As stated, THIS IS OPTIONAL and is only an extra part of the contest.

~It can be of any May Baby you want to draw. It can even have multiple May Babies if you want to draw more!
~You may add other non-May babies to the picture, but to enter this optional second part of the contest, it must have one of the May Babies in it.
~The theme can be of any choosing you so wish.

But what exactly will you get out of this?

The winner of the Part One Liney Art Contest will get money. I haven't determined the value yet because it really depends on the effort put into the art.

Everyone who enters into the Part 2 contest will obtain a prize, though. If you enter in more than one art piece into the Part 2 contest, you will get multiple prizes (or a larger amount of gold).
Example: I submit 3 art pieces to Liney's contest, none of them win, I don't get a prize. But I submitted 4 art pieces to the May Babies section. Each entry is worth 5k, therefore I get 20k for all of my art. ((once again, example, prizes and prices may vary))


So it would be in your best interest to participate in both contests.

Remember: You have to do part one before you can post art for part two.
You can do multiple entries for each contest.
You are only assured a prize if you submit art for part two.

I'll probably crap out on this one too, considering I'm lazy as hell, but I can at least try. /:

As long as you guys put some effort into the drawing no matter how good you are on whatever you're using ((it could even be MSPaint)) it's better than not entering.

Like I said, if you get to Part Two then you still get a prize. It'd be worth the time to even try to make MS art.

Umm... trying to do art on a computer with a toddler and no decent program is completely, utterly, a task I simply cannot do. what I will do is try and commission some art, so Liney still gets art and maybe write a poem. I find most of the contests to be difficult... They can become time consuming so I do apologize for not entering. Its not that I wouldn't put the time in if I could, I simply can't do much with a two year old temper tantrum toddler and working my job.

But for Liney, I wish a happy birthday and like I said I will try to comission some art.

Note it's not like I can actually do better.
Because I can't.
I will try though.
