I listen to pretty much everything outside of country. Something about the twang and voices just rubs me the wrong way. But other than that, I'll listen to anything pretty much. So, in actuality, all I don't listen to is "gangsta" rap and country.
But yes, I'm babbling.

I tend to listen to classical music, or completely instrumental. Dunno how to call it.
But then again, I listen to songs like 'One Week', or 'Fighting Dreamers', so I guess that it's pretty random.
But yet again, I despise heavy metal (?), rap, country, and such.

I pretty much stick to rock and select bands from the 80's. But, I am pretty much up for anything, except rap, country, and most pop (Sorry, Brittney. xD), there are exceptions of coarse.
As to what genre I would be...I think I might be alternative rock, but something sort of upbeat too. Not too depressing. Maybe like Coldplay or Death Cab for Cutie. Dunno...

I listen to just about anything. But I too would be a musical if I had to pick, because I love singing and dancing and all that stuff!

I'm ecclectic--I can find something good in most genres, and probably like things that would scare a few of ya. If I were music, I'd probably be an electronic arabic pop song!

My favourite genre is Classical (Baroque, actually, but let's not get too picky). I also love the 20th Century composers, like Debussy (Sunken Cathedral = sideways-vee three). I also listen to a lot of bands like Evanescence and Linkin Park (which, at my school, labels me as a "goth"), Story of the Year and My Chemical Romance (which makes me both a goth and an "emo kid"), Creed and Seether (not sure what genre they are), System of a Down and a bit of Coldplay. I also love jazz and jazz-influenced music. W00t. Go eclectic me.
If I were a piece of music or a genre, I'd be...a Serialism piece. I may not seem to make sense, but there's a strict order and logic behind the madness.

I have to say that most of the music I listen to has a technological feel to it. That doesn't mean that I don't listen to other genres though, as I like to switch gears to Rock & Roll styles, as well as Classical and various others. However, my greatest love is music that comes from Video Games, which I am an unabashed fan of. The classic NES symphonies from Zelda, Megaman, Mario, Kirby, etc., have meant more to me than any song sung by any famous artists. I can admit that now. Aside from any VG music, I also enjoy many songs performed for the Tokusatsu shows in Japan, notably by Hironobu Kageyama and Endou Maasaki.

I listen to rock, techno, opera, soundtracks, and musical soundtracks.
I'm hesitant to use this label, but I also to listen what I assume to be 'indie'. I'm not all too sure what that is, but I can't think of anything else to really label Modest Mouse as.

I listen to everything. Rap and country included. Though I guess if I had to narrow it down, I'm more of a classic rock and alternative kind of gal. I really like bands such as Third Eye Blind, U2 and Everclear, and I've started listening to a lot of Asian Kung-Fu Generation.
If I had to be any genre, I'd be J-Rock. Fo' sho'. =O
