a extra one for the sake of it XP

It had been a hole month since the two kyns and girl had disapeared, and they were all very anxious by the end. In that time Kameko had discovered a wind gem, and she had grown to her adult size. She had yet to meet the rest of the family.

then one day a noise at the north entrance had disturbed them, and they made their way through the cavers and towards the entrance. They were startled to see kichi had landed, while taku walked behind her. Kichi has a few bandages around her for paws, waist and tail, while taku mainly had bandages around his right leg and neck. However poke was a bit different...

At that moment she was sitting on Taku's back, and her arms, legs and torso were covered in bandages, as well as a bandage around her head. It appeared her left leg had a splint on it, and her right arm was in a sling, also heavily bandaged where the arrowhead had pierced it.

once they stoped, poke looked at her kyn and smilied nervously, waving to them with her left hand. They all appeared quite shocked.

"what in gods name HAPPENED TO YOU??" Kameko was the first to speak. She had expected to see them come back fine, but evidently not

"was it a tornament or a full out war??' shiro said next, bounding forwards in order to try and help her off taku.

"to be honest..." poke started. "we got beat up..."

"that is a understatment" kichi interupted. "you had to stay there for 2 weeks untill you could be moved!"

"really? l thought it was only a few days.."

"you were asleep half the time.." Taku started

As they walked, or limped, into the cave, a small bird flew downwards and rested itself on Taku's head, though he appeared to not notice it.

"and who is that?" Saburo asked while helped Kichi to walk in.

"we met her while we were traveling back, and the bird seemed to take a liking to Taku. Always seems to fly near him" poke explained, while gently stroking the birds feathers. "Taku doesn't seem to mind."

"She called it peggy, despite my protests..." taku continued. "and no one is to eat her, got it?" he looked at shiro who just rolled his eyes and continued forwards. It didn't look like they would be going anywhere for a while...

"bleehh, this is so dull..."

poke sat on her beanbag chair staring up at the celing, doing Absolutely nothing interesting. Her hole clan of kyn were out patrolling the edges of the terriorty, after the incident with that feral, taku and the others wanted to make sure there was no other kyn in their territory that could hurt them.

For the whole, poke was alot better now. She was not covered in bandages anymore and could walk around without aid, but she had been cautioned to take things easy, and because of this she stayed behind. Although after 30 minutes she was quite bored.

getting up again she decided to go for a walk around the den outside. It was a safe activty that wouldn't require alot of energy, so her kyn wouldn't complain.

through the hole, take a left, and she was out in the miday sunshine. It was plenesty warm on her skin, and a light breeze blew the hair from her face. It would have been a perfect scene, if not for the fact that in the distance a pinkish looking kyn was busy tearing into a carcus.

poke started. How the hell did she not hear him before? and how did her kyn miss this larg male entering. She did not know why, but hell was she gonna let him hang around and pose a thread!

grabbing her sword she stormed out into the open and towards the larger eruopean kyn. most people would have stayed well hidden out of fear, but she was not scared at all. perhaps stupid, but not scared. Although looking at the entrails of the dead animal was making her feel ill

"oy! what are you doing here, this aint your tuff!" she yelled at the kyn as it tore out more meat. It stopped and looked at the much smaller girl before ignoring her and continued with it's meal. It seemed quite content on ignoring her protests, untill she made what most called a foolhearty mistake. and jammed her sword right into the remains.

This caused the kyn to pull back, not enraged but not exacly pleased either.

"listen you overgrown lizard" poke contined now she had it's attention. "l want you to get the hell out of here, before either me or my kyn sersiouly kick your a**"

"and what, pray tell, can such a small creatre do to someone as large as me?" the kyn asked in a slight amused voice.

"a whole of damage if l really- huh? you can talk?" she stopped and regarded the male. "l thought wild kyn weren't able to communicate?"

"just because l don't have a bond" stated the male. "doesn't mean l can not be inteligent. Now may you please leave me alone while l finish off this, and be on my way?"

"how about no. Last time a kyn was here l almost lost one of mine to it, and l will not let it happen again."

the male just sighed. "l am not leaving, no matter how much you bug me to do so. I don't care if you have an army of kyn, l'm still not leaving. It takes alot more then empty threats to scare me."

"empty??" poke pulled the sword out, and then jumped forwards in an attempt to stab this stupid dragon where his right foreleg was, but he mearly reared back on his hind legs and casuly blew out a jet of fire. Poke jumped forads in a roll to escape the last and then landed a blow on his back forleg instead, slashing accross it. He winced, the pain a little more then he expected. "ha! take that!! that will teach you to underestimate me!"

the kyn then cocked a sly smile. " l wasn't underestimating you." and then laungced off his hind legs in order to manover in the air and send another jet of flame. Poke had alot harder time not getting roasted, but as she rolled this time, the kyn reached out and grabbed poke around the wasit, pinning her arms to her sides.

"checkmate"

"omg! this is awssome!" shouted a cheery poke as she hoped onto the head of a very fercious looking japanese kyn. The said kyn waved his head a little, unused to the idea of someone on top of it much less a person.

"careful there" shiro watched from the saftely of the ground. "you don't want to send our rider flying now do you?"

"She'll be fine as long as she doesn't try to yank off any of my horns" Ozzy warned while he lifted his head high off the ground. More giggeling came from poke and he sighed. "you seem to be injoying this a hole lor more then I am. Is this a carnival ride to you?"

"well we can make it one if you just keep still" trying not to fall off poke made her way towards the back of his neck and sat down, pushing herself forward.

"WWWEEEEEEEE!" she yelled as she slid down ozzy's back and right off the tail and onto the ground.

*A flash came from the front of the cave as a small shoulder dragon flashed into teh cave. darting about seeming to look for something of someone. Wings beating in rapid motions it came to a hovering halt, head turning this way and that.* "Where is she?" he muttered soon looking back toward it's human and companions that had come to this cave to meet up with a friend.*

*Walking behind the young kyn, was a warmly dressed human. Shaking her head she lookde at teh young kyn before looking about the den she had come to. It was a strange place, she most likely should have waited outside, but Sinzu was most impatient being that she hadn't seen Poke in a long time.* Sinzu, we should have waited outside instead of barging in, Who know what you could have gotten yourself into." The human scolded plucking the kyn from the air to set it back on her shoulder. "Anyways, we're already in so might as well stay."

*Stomping behind them was a larger kyn, his fleshy colored head looking about the den as his large wings folded to his sides, as to not get damaged. Wake as this one was named looked about the den smelling the scents of others. Shaking his head, sneezing a little the large kyn settled himself upon the floor near the door he had come in at. Not wanting to intrude upon the grounds that were not of his own. Regreting that he had to leave his den in the paws of a lunar. Racer, one who claimed he could handle it. Wake doubted it though, very highly.*

*Finally, standing beside the human a silver colored lunar kyn looked about the den, growling at the young shoulder kyn who had to barge in. Shaking his head some, Moonshadow sat next to his human, looking about. Strange scents met his nose, stranger sounds met his ears. Resisting the puppy urge to explore, he remained beside his companion, ever alert to anything that would come their way. Not willing to let anything happen to the human.*

*Sadie had looked back toward the one that had shouted and smiled at teh white kyn that had mentioned that she and hers were allies. She had opened her mouth to thank the kyn before she was cut off by the squeel that can from presumibly Poke's room. Before she could even begin to walk or much less 'run' to the room, the small kyn was laready gone from her shoulder and dashing through the air.* "I don't think she will ever learn." She said looking at Moonshadow who merely shook his head still sitting at Sadie's side before starting off when she headed to the other room leaving Wake behind, he seemed tired from the long flight there.*

*Sinzu was teh first into the room and landed upon the bed and folded her wings to her side before stretching out her long neck to sniff at teh egg. Only when a piece of shell hit her nose did she pull her head away with a small squeak. Angling her head up she looked up at Poke, much like a baby crane would it's mother, before looking back down at teh egg, tilting her head this way and that watching it.*

"She's never seen an egg hatch, net even Slick or Blaze's eggs." Sadie chuckled coming to stand beside Poke. "Good to see you again. seems that you have a whole host of kyns now. How do you feed them all?" she asked chuckling, turning her atention toward the egg on the bed.
