The day after Shun's initial arrival had been a rather poor one in terms of weather. Aside from the heavy rain, there was also a mist and fog rolling on about. It was an absolutely great day to be moving his stuff in. He had managed to get in a few of his stuff, but had to go fetch some of his other belongings.
Along with his usual jacket, he had a hoodie on as well to try and fend off the downpour that was going on. Bent-Tail was huddled away under the hood as well to keep dry.
"Shitty day.." grumbled Shun as he held on tightly to the guitar case slung over his shoulder. It was doing its job and keeping the instrument protected from the rain at the very least.
Deciding to try and speed up the process a bit, he shadow stepped towards the dorm twice, covering some extra ground in the blink of an eye.

The trip to the island... Had it honestly been that long ago? All the mental trauma, new friends... Then again, recently, something else had pretty much replaced the place that fog-covered island had occupied in her mind. Something that wasn't quite as traumatic or painful. Alright, perhaps for a whole 5 seconds it was pretty traumatic, but for the most part, it was what came after that really caused her emotions to dip.
She had been doing a pretty good job at bottling it up and hiding it though! Well, as long as nobody close to her enters her room... Its a giant mess right now, with webbing everywhere.
In her defense, she needed an outlet for all that pent up frustration!
However, right now, she had other priorities; namely, visiting two boils in the reaper dorms. If Tess knew, she'll probably call it a scandal, but really, since they lived right beside each other and have a good knowledge of games... Two birds with one stone and all that, right? Its not like she knew many people with a good knowledge on video games... One of whom she did not wish to see right now, or she might flip a table (wherever that thought came from).
Umbrella held tightly in her hand, she shivered as she ran through the rain - yes, she ran; the fog was just bringing back bad memories, after all.
And then she spotted a hooded person ahead.
Why? Why must it be a hooded person?
... And did he just...?!
Giving whoever it was the benefit of the doubt, she quickened her pace to catch up before holding up her umbrella (it was difficult, seeing how tall this person is) to try to shield them both from the rain while trying to peek up at his face. Offering him a small, almost wary smile, she dipped her head as greeting, "Uh, hi...?"

Letting out a breath as he came out of the shadow step, Shun was about to quickly make his way into the reaper dorms so he could put his guitar away. That is, until someone had come running up to him to say hi. Who the hell would just run up to some stranger in this heavy rain to say hi?
Apparently, this girl would. And she looked a little nervous too.
"..Hi," was all he mumbled in response before turning to try and continue on.
Bent-Tail perked up at the new voice and peeked out from under the hood, giving a small wave before she fell out of sight due to Shun turning away.

At least she could see his face under the hood! That made her somewhat relieved, although it didn't stop her from being wary of the stranger... Then again, he doesn't seem to be very sociable at all.
"Are you new here?" She tried to keep up, still trying desperately to fit them both under the umbrella; half of her was slowly getting wet, however, due to the rain. Noticing the minipet tucked under his hood, she blinked, and would have stared if not for the fact that the boil had already turned away. Gesturing at his hood, she giggled, "You have a little something there..."

Just when he thought he'd be left alone, he heard her voice speaking from beside him. As nice as it was of her to share her umbrella, Shun didn't really want to talk all that much. He sort of glanced at her and simply nodded slowly to answer both of those questions. The reaper also tried to quicken his pace, though whether it was an attempt to get inside sooner or to try and get rid of this random girl.. was a good question.
Since the new girl was in his view again, the miced tea peeked back out of the hood and waved to her. When one random drop from the edge of the hood hit his nose, he quickly retracted back and wiped his face off of the water. Once that was taken care of, he peeked back out, though not quite as much as before. He wanted to stay dry after all.

"Awww, he's adorable!" She cooed, staring at the minipet that was now again hidden from her view. She quickened her pace yet again to catch up; he must really want to get into the dorm! Him trying to get rid of her was not even a possibility in her mind. She then raised her free hand, wiggling her fingers at the mouse in a sort of wave when he peeked out again, "What is his name?"
Oh wait, names!
"By the way, I'm Lizzy," She smiled, whatever wariness she had of the stranger gone thanks to the cute residing under his hood, "Its nice to meet you!"

Shun was considering just ignoring the questions as he reached the door to the reaper dorms. His little pet wasn't about to let this happen as he started chattering to try and get him to answer. It was rude to ignore that after all!
"I'm Shun. He's Bent-Tail," he grumbled, not giving much else as far as greetings went. Now he also had to wonder why she was following him all of the sudden. She looked more like a demon than a reaper. Twitching slightly, he just hoped she'd stop at the door while he went on inside.
There, he let out another breath, shivering some due to be completely soaked by the rain. A great day to be moving his s**t in for sure.

She wasn't normally one to classify others by their race, but... Whoa, this reaper is grumpy. Just like Johan from Christmas and Mac, even if the latter had stopped being such a grump for the most part. So far, the only non-grumpy reaper boil she had met is Mot... Hopefully, the whole grumpy-reaper-boils thing is not a trend or anything!
"Ohh, interesting name for the little guy!" She nodded just as they walked through the door to the dorms. Once instead, she kept her umbrella and folded it up before removing her jacket and slinging it over her shoulder; it's wet and wearing it will only cause her to feel colder. Luckily, the reaper dorms, unlike the undead dorms, was pretty warm despite the rain outside.
Now that they were out of the pouring rain, her attention went to the guitar case that he was carrying. She paused momentarily before smiling, gesturing at it, "You play?"

Pulling down his hood now that he was inside, Shun rubbed his arms a bit to try and warm himself up a little. That didn't help all too much considering how wet he was. He was going to need to let his clothes dry once he got to his room. But right now... there was still the demon girl tailing him. Surely she had some other reason to be in here than to follow some new guy around. Maybe she'd go on and do that soon. At least, that was what he hoped.
The mouse shook off some of the excess water on his own fur, turning him into a little nergal poofball for the time being. He moved from the top of Shun's head to one of his shoulders, where he watched Lizzy curiously. If she were to look closely, she'd notice the crook in his tail which was what got him his name.
About to move on to reach his room, Shun paused at the question, glancing back.
"Not when others are around."

Lizzy was, in fact, too busy with tailing this new guy to remember why she had came over in the first place... At least for now. She would probably remember it later, when she's not quite as occupied. A small, small part of her was still a little wary; she saw him do something weird in the fog the same way those... Those "reapers" had appeared and vanished using the fog. Perhaps she wanted to make sure that Shun wasn't one of them...
That and she's busy with staring at the cute on his shoulder. She was probably making more faces and paying more attention at Bent-tail than at Shun while walking behind him.
... Another trend. Grumpy reaper boils with cute animal companions.
"Why not?" The question slipped out before she could stop herself, her tone laced with curiosity; perhaps he's one of those who can't play in front of a crowd?

"I don't see a reason as to why I should," Shun said while shooting a bit of a glare towards Lizzy as he made his way through the halls. He really felt no obligation to play while others were around. It was an outlet for himself and he wasn't comfortable with having people get a look into what he's feeling or anything like that. Of course, he wasn't going to explain this to her.
Squeaking happily, Bent stared back at Lizzy, seeming to enjoy the faces she was making at him. He liked attention, unlike his grumpy friend. The mouse tilted his head from side to side at some of the expressions the demon made at him, while trying to mimic a few of them. It didn't work out too well.

That glare. She frowned in response, not quite sure what to say to that as she shifted the jacket that was on her shoulder to stop it from sliding down her arm. Taking larger strides, she moved to walk beside him, keeping with his pace even if she had to take two steps for every one step he took.
"I suppose not... I was going to suggest perhaps we could play together some time," She sounded wistful for a moment, but she wasn't about to force him into anything, seeing how he had already stated his stand on playing his guitar around others.
Looking up and observing Bent-tail's antics, however, she couldn't help giggling before grinning. She was that tempted to just reach out and pat him, but she wasn't sure Shun would like that very much...

Shun didn't pause as he continued to navigate the halls with his shoes squeaking slightly with each step thanks to be soaked. He gave a sidewards glance towards Lizzy as she spoke again, but didn't reply right away. So she played an instrument as well, possibly the same one. An interesting bit of information, but it didn't change anything. He barely knew this girl.
The only things he did know were her name, that she was a demon, played guitar and was a rather persistent girl. The latter was starting to grate on his nerves.
"I'm sure there are others who would be more willing," he said finally.
The mouse liked girls. They were easier to grab the attention of he had found. They were more likely to play with him and whatnot. He continued his antics in an attempt to make her giggle and grin more.

"Mmm, perhaps..." She sounded distracted as she was staring at the mouse on his shoulder, trying her best not to burst out laughing at him, although she was slowly losing the 'battle'. He was totally different from his owner! Too bad his adorable personality didn't rub off on Shun; then again, she was kind of glad that Shun's personality didn't rub off on Bent-tail.
"Is he used to having others handle him?" She finally decided to ask, tilting her head while gesturing at the mouse; this was basically her asking if she could touch him.

"Yes," Shun said without turning around. Down the hall, he could see where his room was supposed to be. He didn't look at the numbers on the doors, however, as the could go wrong for him. But he was luckily near the end of the hallway, so he just need to count the doors from there.
At the prospect that the demon might want to hold him, Bent perked up further.
The mouse seemed to always be hungry for attention and sometimes just jumped onto other people if he liked them. It was too bad Lizzy was a little too far and that they were walking else he might have tried to do just that.
