Apparently, some government officials are contemplating merging the US, Canada, and Mexico together UK style. There will be one currency and one President/Prime Minister. Your thoughts on this?

First, Canada is under the Commonwealth of Nations. Thus, Canada would have to break away from the Commonwealth of Nations if such a merger would be possible.
Second, it would cause friction in America since many would not approve of such a merger.
Third, a system like the U.K. would cause social problems.

I think the greater question. Is what other options are there. If this countries leaders keep spending as irresponsibly as they have been?
