 The ocean was huge!!! He had never seen so much water gathered in one place before. Had it rained so much that it just became endless? What kept it from rolling further onto the land? Zep had been flying about, getting his daily small amount of flying in. But he had stopped after seeing this body of water. It was just too much to handle, he wouldn't be able to fly and keep an eyeball on it. He'd probably fly into the water somehow. So he stopped, and landed as gracefully as he could along the beach. The sand around the water was like the sand about the lake he lived by. Just a lot more of it!!! Zep was actually gleeful of this area. He loved it. The smell was so different from the lake. He closed his eyes and took in a lungful. It was different, but good. This was going to become a favorite spot of his for sure. His wings flapped a bit, and he trotted up the coastline for a good twenty minutes leaving a trail of hoofprints behind. No matter how far he got though, he couldn't find an end to the water. This was amazing! Zep really wasn't paying attention to the other half of the scenery. He had no idea he wasn't alone...

 Takuto had decided he needed a break, not that it was a bad thing to be with friends and loved ones, but a guy who hung out with 2 girls on a regular basis... He was starting to go nuts.
He needed a friend, a friend of his own gender that was, he knew there were many stallions out there, but he had yet to work out the right way of telling his other 2 companions he needed a break without one or both of them making a fuss. Mitsuki wasn't so bad, she would give him space if he just said, or had the right tone of voice and tells that he needed a break. Meroko on the other hand.... She would make a big fuss if he expressed any kind of wish to not be around her.
So today found him galloping along the beach, no one was chasing him but they might have well have been. He was focused on the running, everything else had become a blur to him. He would usually enjoy being by the sea, he would stand and sing at the water line, but for the moment he just needed to burn off the feeling of being stuck between a rock and a hard place. And so he had soon caught up to the other stallion and gone past him, showering him in water droplets from where he was charging through the surf.

Water suddenly dashed across... well, everything. Zep quickly shook out his wings and looked around to find the source of this sudden spray of water. Golden eyes landed on the other stallion just galloping along the coastline without a seeming care in the world.
Zep laughed lightly to himself. Often he'd fly with the same wild attitude, though he couldn't fly as far as a regular sort could run. Fluffing his wings once more Zep fought an inner battle. Trying to decide to just let the other run off, or to go after him to see why he was galloping in such a way.
The alicorn steeled his nerves and took off after the other stallion, galloping along the surf until he just took flight to catch up. He landed as close as possible to the other and tried to gallop out of it without being too clumsy and land on his face or something.
"What are you running for?!?"
He seemed to be meeting all sorts of weird sorts in all sorts of weird ways lately. The small one dragging him off for adventuring, randomly meeting another stallion with a stutter by a stream, etc, etc. Now he was trying to flag down another stallion as he galloped like a demon was after him....
Wait.
Was he running from something?!?!
Zep looked over his shoulder as quickly as he could whip his neck around. There was nothing that he could see down the coast line, but it could just be a slower sort. The alicorn's pace moved up a touch, a chill of fear rolling through him.

Takuto glanced round as he herd a voice next to him, though he had been vaguely aware of someone next to him, though he had tried to ignore it, mostly because he dreaded the idea that it was Meroko out to get him, or worse some alone time with him. But hearing a stallions voice he looked round and skidded to a stop, his hooves digging into the damp sand.
He moved forward, trotting to catch back up after his sudden stop as it had taken the other stallion a little while to also stop. But he moved closer looking at the alicorn curiously, not really sure where he had come from or why, but it was a stallion, he was glad of that, he didn't need another run in with a female right now.
Looking at the stallion when they were bot level with each other again, shaking his head. "No real reason, I just needed to let out some energy." Thinking to himself it had been a wonder he wasn't running all out while he yelled as well, tough that might have made more worry than anything, that or cause a stampede, and while the idea was vaguely funny it would be bad too. "Why were you running?" Seeming confused that the stallion had been running even faster than he had.
