Nene
Nene heaved a sigh, struggling to keep her lips from twitching back into a snarl. These idiots were going to be the death of her. She was ready to string up half the damn males as was, the only thing that saved a majority of them is they were sons of the queens. However, if that Kepo brat didn't stay out of her way...
The dark hyena took another deep breath before casting her eye back over the river. She had left the only half way sane male to keep an eye on the lion brood for a moment while she stole away to the river's mouth for some much needed quiet. Sure that Igola kid was cracked in the head, but he followed orders to a T so that was all she cared about.

Ruko
Ruko was sulking - and limping rather heavily on his back paw. The last bought of 'I can fly!' moments had ended badly and now his back paw was strained. It had almost worked though! It was all going perfectly...until he hit the ground. The male hyena had his shoulders hunched and moved lamely along the riverbed he had found. He had no set home, so wandering and trying to stretch his paw - since he refused to admit it was hurt, just a little sore - was the only plan for him.
He grumbled a little under his breath, cursing his wings, when a rock slipped beneath his foot, dislodging his already wobbly balance and sendinghim tumbling into the river. Thankfully, it was not hugely deep, so he only became damp, not drowned. The splash and crash would likely garner attention though, he knew, though he was unaware of the nearby pack.

Nene
"Well ain't you just full of grace there sunshine." The gruff drawl was full of scorn as Nene reguarded the clumsy male. Great just what she didn't need, another damn idjit to deal with. Hadn't she just been trying to get away from them? Emerald eyes reguarded him frankly out from under a shock of white mane. First glance might mistake her for a male, what with her gruff and husky voice, broad shoulders , thick short body and thick neck. The scent however was purely female.
"Boy, you can't even stay grounded and you got all four feet? You are in a world of trouble."

Ruko
Ruko startled at the sound of a voice, glancing up through slightly damp strands of fluff, to peer at the person addressing him so rudely. At first look, he did mistake her for a male, but the scent confused him for a moment, and he did not respond rudely in return. "I tripped," he mumbled, wiggling back onto his feet with less than graceful movements.
"And I hurt my paw flying," he continued to excuse his clumsy behaviour, standing dripping in the river bed.

Nene
For a moment all she could do was stare at the dripping male with astonishment. Flying? Oh dear gods, he was not only a little stupid as she feared he was completely mental. Her shoulders slumped as she shook her head. Really? Who has she pissed off that she was saddled with all these retards?
"Flyin? Boy don't you know you ain't a bird?"
"Flyin? Boy don't you know you ain't a bird?"
Ruko
Ruko looked offended and blinked, before his face settled in a sulky expression. "I know I ain't a bird!" He protested, unconsciously mimicking her way of speaking. "If I was, my wings would work better than they do! But that don't mean I can't fly! And I will!" He turned sideways, displaying the wing markings on his side, as if to prove, ha, he would be able to fly someday! It was possible!
He just..hadn't figured out how yet...

Nene
Nene groaned feeling a headache coming on. "Alright, alright simmer down." Taking a deep breath she counted to ten..then twenty before giving him a rough smile. Well it was kind of a smile though it had a few too many teeth in it, more of a grimace but hey she was trying. "Where you from?"
Ruko
Ruko was slightly perturbed by her smile, but she was trying, so he flashed her a toothy grin in return - his a little more earnest than her own attempt. "I'm a wanderer. Dunno where I'm from originally, but I guess I'm from everywhere now." He beamed, looking unconcerned by their former disagreement over his wings. "You a wanderer too?" He asked, curiously.
Nene
Well at least he wasn't completely mental after all...a little bent perhaps. "No, I live here along with my pack and my queens. What's your name?" He seemed like a sweet enough boy, so perhaps it wouldn't be a total loss. The pack always needed fresh blood. She twitched an ear back towards the pack to make sure no one was calling for her before looking back to the male before her.
He wasn't bad looking, even in his current state. Yes she could see him snagging the attention of one of the royal bit..uh brats. She smirked faintly to herself at the near mental slip before turning her attention back to him.

Ruko
"Oh," he looked surprised. "There's a pack nearby? I hope I'm not intruding." He might jump off cliffs often, but he wasn't suicidal. He didn't want to die because he encroached on some packs territory. He perked up at the question of his name. "I am Ruko'rajua'rusha!" He bobbed his head in a bow to her with a grin. "What's your name?" It was only polite to ask, after all, she had asked his name.
This female seemed nice enough. Well, not really 'nice' but...not like she was planning on killing him, which Ruko supposed made her nice enough.

Nene
"Nene," came the curt reply as she looked him over with a not so sweet smile. Yes he would defiantly do..."As a matter of fact you are intruding Ruko. We don't take too kindly to strange males just passing through. Now if you wanted to stay, make yourself useful for awhile...well we ladies won't take it amiss."
He was certainly entertaining enough...surely the queens wouldn't take it too amiss if she brought the male in. They needed fresh blood, what with all those pups and so few unrelated males. "Yes I think you will do nicely."

Ruko
Ha. Nene. Curt, to the point and pretty plain. It suited her, and it also wasn't a mean sounding name. Ruko counted this as a good thing and peered at her in curiosity. "Oh, I'm sorry," he apologized, eyes wide. Make himself useful? What did that mean?...well, he did feel bad about crossing into their borders without their permission, even if he had not realized they were there. "Well, I don't mind helping out some ladies if you need me!" He grinned.
Nene
Nene actually chuckled then, " Since I wasn't really askin it was implied you were, but good. Now first things first boy, I may be nasty, but I am a hell of a lot nicer than most those bitches there. So watch your mouth among the women. Boys try s**t on ya, you can fight back but don't cause any problems. " She got to her feet, shaking out her short dark fur.
"I'll set you up with Igola. Boy is stupid as the day is long but he knows how it goes and will keep ya from getting your face eaten."

Ruko
Ruko's eyes were wide, and he watched her with faint worry - though he was obviously curious. He nodded, though he wasn't a fighting sort. "Obey the girls, beat up boys, got it," he said, with a joking tone, but he was slightly worried. What if someone tried to beat him up?....he could always fly away, he decided.
"Sounds alright to me," he said, with a force bright tone. "I look forward to meeting Igola..." he froze. "Wait. Face eaten!?"

Nene
Again came the wicked chuckle as she peered at him from under her thick bangs. " Well you can just fly away can't ya boy?" Ok this one really was too amusing. Perhaps she would look into keeping him for her own pet, surely she was allowed to have a favorite from the harem..not that she had partaken of any of the idiots there yet.
Ruko
"Yeah, sure, definitely," he mumbled, sounding faintly nervous, and shifted a bit closer to her, ready to be lead into the pack, though he was disturbed at the idea of his face getting eaten. "I can totally escape if I need to. I'll be fine!" He beamed, slightly nervous.
Nene
Nene rolled her eyes fighting back another laugh as he moved closer. Sure like that would save him. "Come on boy. If I am away too long the slaves start to think they can get away with things. " Without waiting to see if he would follow she turned on her heels and headed back the way she had come.
Ruko
Ruko glanced back over his shoulder, looking towards the rogue lands. He could probably run for it, but he glanced back at Nene. He had a feeling that she would follow him and probably drag him back bodily, without him being willing or not. He glanced at her, surprised to see her already walking off. He quickly jogged after her, keeping behind her a little. He was not afraid, he was just being cautious...
