STORY
It is the year 2396 on the 8th planet from the star called Gamma Centurion. The planet’s name is simply Centurion-8. It is the site for the most advanced research labs in the galaxy. The scientists there have discovered two different ways of improving Human capabilities. One way is through genetic manipulation, and the other, through nanotechnology. When the scientist brought the results back to the head office on Earth, the government was split down the middle; one side saying they should utilize genetics, and the other stating that technological advancements would be better. This was the start of an argument that would split humanity into two major factions. The genetics advocates would come to be known as the GUA or “Genetic Utilization Organization”. The technological advocates would come to be known as the TAC or “Technological American Coalition”. These two factions split Earth into an ever present warring state. By 2400, the Earth’s environment was nearly destroyed, most of its major cities decimated, and almost all of its modern armies fighting for virtually nothing.
The scientists who originally discovered the applications of genetics and technology, decided to move off world, trying to find a middle ground between the two advancements, in order to find a peaceful end to the war. Not shortly after, someone on one side of the war decided it would be “a good idea” to launch biological attacks on the other. The opposite side responded in kind, and the population of Earth was completely decimated. By 2405, having no central Earth government to control them anymore, the colonies declared themselves as sovereign nations, and formed alliances with each other. This once again added fuel to the fire, as the colonies also had differences in opinion regarding the use of genetics and technology. The alliances were once again split, and a galaxy wide war ensued.
The colonies had seemed to have settled their differences, and came to a cease-fire agreement in 2414. This agreement was fragile however, and one false move by either side could once again spark an all-out war.
The story began, in 2423 on Varis Acadia. Varis Acadia was a planet that allowed people from both sides of the war to live there, not discriminating between either side, keeping everyone equal. The cease-fire had been stretched thin, and war could have broken out at any moment.
Now, Varis Acadia has fallen, turned to glass by an indeterminable number of nuclear bombs placed on the surface. No one survived, at least, according to the military. A single ship, housing 300 soldiers and scientists, and our heroes, escaped just before the planet died. The man responsible has been dealt with, but there lies a greater danger in the galaxy. The man responsible was taking orders from someone else, someone stronger than him. The man responsible, The Figure, was a super clone, named Number 9. he was a part of a larger organization, and there are eight others like him, eight others stronger than him, and all of them take orders from a man they call "The Creator." They believe him to be some sort of god, and carry out his will without question. Varis Acadia was just the beginning, and our heroes are headed towards the Technologist planet Venelia, unaware that it is the next target set by The Creator.

Sides/Groups The Geneticists: The faction of colonies that believes that enhancing human abilities through genetics is the gateway to the next step in evolution. They are headed by the planet Saturn-5, a terraformed world, 5th in the Algolian System, closely resembling the Saturn from the Sol system. Their genetic modifications are a part of everyday life; almost anyone can get one with the required paperwork. Their army is well trained, and highly advanced; however, their technology is not as advanced as the Technologists.The Technologists: The faction of colonies that believes that the future of humanity lies in technology. They are headed by the planet Agenhue-6, an Earth-like world, 6th planet in the Aegian system. Their technological modifications are available, but highly regulated; anyone who wants a modification must submit to a series of background checks and psychological tests. Their army is decently trained, but relies heavily on technology rather than ability. Their technology is more advanced than the Geneticists, but their combat ability is hindered by dependency.The Underground: A network of groups, believing that neither side is completely correct. They believe that the destiny for humanity lays in the combination of Genetics and Technology. They have limited resources; however, most of the members have a modification, from either side. They have begun testing the combination of modifications, but the results have been mostly unsuccessful. There have been some isolated successful incidents, but their results are unrepeatable. Their main base is housed somewhere on Varis Acadia. They mainly use guerilla tactics to combat the armies of the factions; resorting to trickery, underhanded deals, bribery, and coercion to achieve their goals.The Take-No-Sides: Those who choose not to take a side. Spread widely throughout the galaxy, they lack a unified standing, and are mainly ordinary citizens. They generally have no modifications, but many choose to have a modification done, just to make their lives easier. They support neither the Geneticists nor the Technologists, but are less active than the undergroundSkeletons For Characters:

exclaim When in a fight please keep in mind each person’s modification, some are better than others. (The profiles are on this page, it isn't too difficult to come back and look.)

exclaim No cybering (See rule 1) (Kissing and such is okay up to a point, but anything after that, gonna have to have a short time skip)
exclaim Be active please. Try to post at least once a day. (If you're waiting on someone, that's a decent excuse, but not an indefinite one!) If you are going to be gone give us a warning BEFORE you're gone.

WANTED LEVELS
Note: Wanted level indicates how badly one of the sides (or the Varis police force) wants to capture you. Scale of 1 to 10. 1 to 3 is not at all (you can walk around in public), 4-6 is capture order (If someone from the side that is after you knows who you are, they'll try to capture you alive.) 7 or higher is lethal force on sight. If anyone gets to 10 wanted, it is a manhunt, and they are Public Enemy No. 1. I'm using character names in random order for this, if you can't remember who it is, just scroll up. Everyone starts at one, until it opens, then the total wanted level will be calculated by reviewing bio info and actions later on.
