The nightmares of what'd happen with the fight with Wolfy had eased slightly in the past week or so, but they still plagued the chibi senshi and drove her out to try to find these bullies. The ones Scheelite had indicated, but she wasn't sure she'd find them particularly but she could at least try to convince all senshi not to be bullies.

So Super Hug-bell was scouting the streets looking for her next target to speak to. She wanted to know as much about the other senshi as possible, to gather why they fought and to see which ones were misguided. It was a large task, the child didn't think she could possibly convince everyone, but she wanted to try.

Her search lead her to pause at a playground, opposite of where she normally ended up. This one had those spring ride on toys, in the shapes of a few different zoo animals. Hug-Bell decided this was as good of place as any to wait and see who came by. Taking a seat on the bear spring toy, the Chibi waited...

"I'd say you were out late and ask where your parents were but..." Regulus called out, approaching from an angle at which Hug Bell could safely see and evaluate him, and vice versa. Their energy signatures were clear enough, but he figured the extra showing wouldn't hurt anyone's feelings. Not lately.

He -wanted- to think she was just an surprisingly short young teen, but he couldn't convince himself of that untruth of age. But she was a -kid-. Bad enough that most of them were teenagers out dealing with blood, pain and death, but she couldn't have even been that. What the hell were things coming to? Did they think this was the Children's Crusade, ready to use children to storm the Negaverse? Obviously they'd missed how well the first one had gone.

"You ok, kid?" He didn't know how else to address her, she was a little kid. If her parents knew about this, and he hoped they didn't, they surely would have been worried senseless, and if they knew and weren't worried, she needed better parents.

Hug-Bell had thankfully learned how to dismiss Barnaby into space, though when she wanted him she could call him back. It was useful, handy even. She paused when she felt and heard an older senshi appear. She smiled softly, thinking, "I'm doing better."

She watched Regulus curiously, head tilted, "You're not a bully are you?" She asked giving the springy toy a soft nudge to move back and forth. She didn't expect the answer to be yes, though it was worth a shot sometimes.

That was an arguable term, and Painite probably would have accused him of it, but Regulus hardly thought he was a bully... but then he wasn't sure what the squirt's criteria was.

"Not that I'm aware of, but then I'm not sure most bullies think that they're bullies." He admitted, walking forward and resting a hand on the head of a painted tiger. He seemed largely unaware that between this, HugBells choice of ride and his large scarf ornament, someone probably could have made a Wizard of Oz joke.

"What'dya mean by Bully?" Her fuku wasn't black, so she wasn't a parallel, or a corrupt senshi, who apparently also wore black. (He doubted that this was a coincidence.), but he was still curious what she was looking for by searching for "Bullies."

The child eventually got off the bear spring toy and walked over to Regulus, "I was attacked by someone named Wolframite of the Negaverse." She paused biting her lower lip she'd practiced a million times in the mirror but saying what she was aiming to do to an actual person was harder, "He had told me before he tried to hurt me, or probably worse, he did threaten to..." She paused, "...k-kill me if he found me out alone. That there were senshi that held him hostage and killed his friends. They also burned his face."

She paused, "I'm looking for them because I know that's not what a senshi is. I want to convince them what they're doing is wrong. We're not suppose to hurt others unless there's no other choice."

Her butter yellow eyes were looking at him, "They're being bullies and they shouldn't be. Specially since they're giving all of us a bad name." Hug-bell was watching him now and curiously asked, "So, are you?"
PostPosted: Mon May 16, 2011 2:25 pm

The brief description of what had happened to Fauntle... er.... Wolframite... sent something unpleasant crawling down his spine on ice cold skittering feet, and he found it difficult to repress a shudder. He'd caused small burns, that was just how his abilities worked... but somehow he didn't think that was what the girl was talking about.

"...No... but I do think I know who you're talking about. They're a group calling themselves the Blood Moon Court. Another senshi friend of mine mentioned them the other day."

What they were doing was way beyond bullying, but there wasn't a point arguing that with a little girl. "I've tangled with Wolframite before, but that was before. Before the Blood Moon must have gotten to him."

He did frown though as he considered part of her words, partially wanting to reach over and put a hand on her shoulder, maybe even try and force her to let him take her back to her home. "...Which begs the question what the hell are you doing out alone?"

She'd have to forgive him for swearing, but he was especially upset and concerned now. Not only were their children Senshi, but the actions of the Blood Moon sounded like they were putting everyone in the line of danger. If Wolframite, who in his own weird way seemed to have a code of honor, would attack children... there wasn't probably much the Negaverse wouldn't do to any other senshi, especially since the Negaverse had no reason to know, or care, that the Blood Moon had drawn a sharp black line between themselves and those who still held out hope for the return of the White Moon Princess, Princess ChibiMoon's mother, or the purification of the corrupt.

Hug-bell paused, that name again. "That's what Scheelite called them." She said softly eyes narrowing in thought looking off to the side. The wheels were turning in her head, before she looked back to Regulus.

"He was pretty mean." She frowned, "Called us animals, but we're not because we make the choices of our actions." She nodded softly she'd seen him shudder as she spoke.

The words didn't bother her, it reminded her of sailor Iris. "You sound like Sailor Iris now." She said softly, with a pause, "Because Iunno how many would be willing to help? I have people on my phone I could call if I need help." She was hoping he wouldn't be too mad at her. "And I'm trying to learn to fight better!"

"People call people who do really bad things Animals. It makes them feel a little better to..." he looked for a way to explain it. "It's a way of separating them out into us versus them. Bullies versus... well... everyone's who's getting hit with their fall out."

It was going to give him a headache, he was explaining life lessons to a kid who should never have been handed a henshin pen, not for a few years yet. If he ever found out what cat thought this had been a good idea...

A few ideas sprang to mind, involving a good pair of soccer shoes and an tape for measuring distance.

"If people don't want you out here it's because they don't want to see you get hurt, Kid. They'll feel responsible."

Hug-bell nodded softly, "Yes but we can still make better choices than animals can." She pointed out. Standing there watching him curiously, she seemed to be thinking.

"Name's Hug-Bell, Chibi Super Senshi." She added, "So you don't have to keep calling me kid."

She shook her head. "I don't think they want me out here, but most of them don't know I'm looking for bullies. Or they're too nice to tell me they don't want me out here." She reached up and adjusted her hoodie and teddy bear ears. "I just don't have a team like some of the others do."

"Teams seem to be kinda hard to come by these days." He admitted. "Last one I was in pretty much just..." He spread his hands as though scattering dust. "Fell apart."

"They figure they've got your best interests at heart you know. People have gotten killed out here, and no one wants to be the one trying to figure out if they're responsible for someone appearing in the obituaries. That's a lot of weight to carry."

He wasn't sure she'd understand, but little kids tended to be a lot smarter than they let on. He and Celeste had often grasped far more of adults conversations than said adults had thought possible, usually causing very awkward questions later.

"Regulus, Super Senshi." He offered back, adding. "Kid is shorter." This with as straight a face as he could manage, under the circumstances.

Hug-bell nodded listening to him, "That's sorta sad. Why'd it fall apart?" She tilted her head curiously.

Hug-bell nodded again, "I know, it's why I tried to pulled Hypnos away from that prince guy in Eylsion, she was being dumb." The child paused, she shifted slightly, "Heh, guess it's sorta the same thing. Though I want to convince them they're doing wrong." She nodded.

She paused looking at the older senshi, with a lofted brow. She was trying to think of something else to call him when her eyes landed on his broach, "If you can call me kid then I'll call you lion." She nodded matter of factually.

"Some teams just do. We just didn't have a solid enough reason to stay together I guess." It was like crying over spilled milk to regret the disolution of the Basterds at this point.

"Who's this Prince guy?" he asked. He'd missed that, being laid up from Sassolite's attack, and apparently whoever this 'Prince' was (Perhaps just an particularly elaborate uniform, like Leo's?), he apparently hadn't made a particularly notable impression on anyone, other than perhaps Hug Bell. Very unlikely then that he was ACTUALLY a prince or any authority figure, since surely that would have made more ripples, or like Nehlina, they would have made an brazen attempt to tell everyone to follow them...

He brushed aside dismissive, insulting thoughts about the blue haired parallel and her creepy court.

"Lion's fine." He laughed. "Probably easier to pronounce." And it was part of his last name anyway, if you translated it. Not that she knew that.

"Oh..." Hug-bell looked at him curiously. "So you do things on your own now? Or do you keep in touch with old team members?"

When he asked about the prince she blinked, "The prince in Elysion... End-y-mion?" There was a pause and wrinkle of her nose, "En-dy-mi-on." She tried to pronounce it, the Japanese name rolling off her tongue. "He wasn't very nice, threw a... I think she might've been a princess, I'm not sure, in front of him for protection from the negaverse."

She paused, "Chibimoon called him daddy. So, I think he is a prince or something if she's a princess. I haven't seen him since though. He wasn't very nice anyways." The child nodded distinctly remembering have to try to save Hypnos from getting hurt.

She smiled, "Okay Lion." There was a giggle, before she pulled out Barnaby, "Oh and this is Barnaby. He grows big, and wanted to say hi." She added holding up the bear.

"Endemion? That's a hell of a mouthful." he frowned, tucking the name away. Had he heard it before? It didn't really ring any bells, but the fact that ChibiMoon had referred to him as her father was... How could Serenity, the queen they all felt a hole for in their hearts, have fathered a child with someone who would throw someone else in front of him as a shield?

"He used someone as a shield? What a turd-rocket."

A colorful term, but he figured it was -technically- clean enough for the ears of children. He really did sound like a turd-rocket though.

"I haven't heard hide nor hair of him, maybe we'll get lucky and he crawled back under whatever rock he was hiding under in the first place." He grimaced, crinkling his nose slightly with disgust.

"Hey Barnaby." He added, charitably, reaching out a hand in a (only partially) teasing offer to shake hands with the bear. "Nice to meet ya."

"Something like that." The child replied with a nod, "And yes it is, hard to say too."

The child nodded, "I think there's something wrong with him... since he did that. Iunno I don't think he was like... what I was expecting from Chibimoon's dad."

She giggled at turd-rocket, it was pretty funny even for a colorful word. She nodded softly, "He might have. Maybe he'll realize he was being dumb for throwing that other lady in front of him and come out to at least apologize. It'd at least show us he's not a brat."

She grinned when he reached out a hand to Barnaby. Hug-bell made Barnaby take Lion's hand to shake it. She grinned, "If you ever need saving Barnaby's here to help!" The child added.
