But I'm relying
On my photographic memory
While painfully realizing
It's not all that it's cracked up to be

Photos are memories caught in time. They show laughter, smiles, the good times between friends. They are the moments in which you know you just have to document, for you never want to forget them. They are the times that will never fade, because when they began to you can glance at the photo and just remember.
For one man, photos are all he has. Those smiling faces all he knows, for they are all he can see. [X] has suffered a traumatizing moment in his life. His family, his friends, he lost many of them in a trip. A plane ride to New York city, it was supposed to be a big get away. One where everyone he ever cared for to attend. They would celebrate his graduation, a party in the big NY, what could be better.

But dreams are shattered in a failing engine.
In the sound of screams all around him...
In the sight of the cold limps around him...
In the feel of the tears on his cheeks, ..
The taste of blood in his mouth
In the smell of his dead loved ones....
[X] was one of the soul survives of a terrible crash. Found in the wreckage three days after the crash. Three days where he was surrounded by the bodies of the dead, of his loved ones bloody and pale faces. Some were beyond recension, but by looking at their mangled body.. he could tell. He always knew....
It is simple to guess what happened to [X], the man utterly lost his mind. For a bit anyway. All the male could do was seat, stare, and sometimes... just scream. Now he doesn't even scream anymore. Falling into a catatonic state.

He can only be reached thought the photos...
When he sees the smiling faces caught on film its almost as if he is thrown back into the moment. He began talking, laughing, acting as if those around him are the people in the film with him. Videos, audio, nothing else holds the same effect. Only the photos. But even then, its not as if he sees reality, only the past.
But a cure has to be found within.
His doctor is determined to help him. And he knows the key lays within those photos, those times caught in the past. Surely their must be way to bring him to reality, to shock him in to facing what his mind cannot.
This is a story about a doctor. [Y]
This is the tale about a patient.
This is about mending, and refunding oneself even after everything is lost.
But most of all... this is a story about love.

And falling's just another way to fly
I wonder why it's never easier than
The first time
