The Slytherin Common Room ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅ ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅ ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅ – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Buzzz.... buzz... buzzzzzz... Quillan frowned. There was that horrible fly again. Honestly, why was it such a snot? Couldn't it let a poor kid rest in peace? Obviously not, since as soon as he thought that, the fly came around again, buzzing like it was nobodies business. Quite irritated, Quillan's eyes shot open and he jumped up from his sitting position, his wand directed at the fly. "Immobulus!" He shouted; a light blue spark came from his wand, causing Quillan to look away.
Urghh... too bright... Bloody hell. No matter, it got rid of that pesky fly. It wasn't going to do any more buzzing on his watch! Thus, Quillan laid back down and closed his eyes, ready to drift off to sleep.
Buzz... buzzzzzz...
It's just your imagination, bud, Quillan reassured himself, smiling a little. But then, there was the noise again. Quillan's eyes shot open again and he sat up. Where is that blasted creature? His eyes darted around the room and finally, he spotted the fly buzzing near the window. Huuuuhh... what did I hit then? A bit anxious, he glanced to where he casted earlier and saw an owl frozen solid. "Oh, bloody 'ell!" He groaned, falling back onto the couch, utterly defeated.
Buzzz.... Buzz...

Kennedy was glad the owl had landed on the chair where it had. He grinned. "Poor bird." If it had been a second later... Kennedy was sure he would be frozen to the spot where he stood.
Kennedy plopped into a chair and raised an eyebrow at the boy laying out on the couch. Personally Kennedy would not be caught dead sleeping on the couch in the common room. He had heard that a bunch of fourth years tended to play pranks on first years who take time to nap.
He was trying to ignore the other kid. However the fact that he had frozen an owl in a half sleepy state... made him a bit anxious... and only a minor bit impressed.
Kennedy moved over to the window. Without second though he smushed the fly. There... now it would be safe to play his organ in the common room. Carefully he settled in his favorite chair and made the Keyboard grow to normal size. He started playing.

Quillan hadn't heard Kenny speak, in fact, he was so absorbed in falling asleep that he hadn't heard him walking past to the window either. He was exhausted, so exhausted, in fact, that he didn't even care about the fly anymore. That insect had knocked him dead. It really killed him, it really did. Quill shut his eyes tightly before rolling onto his stomach, burying his face into the pillow. So soft... Not only that, but the pillows muffled out the sounds around him--including that blasted fly. Don't think about it... Quillan ordered himself, heaving a large sigh before nuzzling closer into the couch.
However, the pillows weren't able to block out all the sound. Just as he made himself comfortable, these loud, horrible noises came into his ears. "Bloody hell!" Quillan jumped up again, completely frustrated. When he came to completely, his eyes rested on a boy playing on a keyboard. "I was sleeping here, buck." Quillan frowned, plopping back down on the couch, completely exhausted.
From where he was laying, he waved his hand up. "Oy, kid. Why not take a break from that racket. Pull up a chair and take a nap... or something," or anything, for that matter, but just quit that noise! Quillan groaned. First the fly and then this kid? Was there no peace here?!

Kennedy raised an eyebrow."Your a Slytherin right... " He glanced at the door to the boy's dorm room. "I'm pretty sure Hogwarts isn't over admitting for the amount's of beds they have." He continued practicing. He wanted to get the new bridge figured out when he and Von sat down to compose some more.
He paused in his playing. " So...Why are you down here? The common room is always loud." He raised an eyebrow and placed his hands back on his keyboard. "At about noon im gonna head down to the lunch room... so you can sleep then."
That said he started into a more lively tune than what he had before.

"Great observation, Captain Obvious." Quillan muttered, rolling his eyes from his spot in the couch. How else could he get into their common room if he wasn't a Slytherin? Then Quillan groaned. He wasn't getting off to the best start with this kid--sarcasm wasn't any fun when it was used against you. I wonder if this is how everyone else feels when I'm being a smart aleck... The realization left Quillan feeling mournful. It was quite annoying and he promised himself to fix his ways--though he doubted it would happen anytime soon.
"The Common Room isn't always loud--just when someone's in it, apparently." Quillan retorted, talking into the couch. "Oh, brilliant. How thoughtful of you," he responded dryly, peeved at this boy's presence.
He was getting even more annoyed when the boy began some strange jolly tune. It sounded like some sort of folk song and it was lame as heck. "You're quite considerate, y'know that? A real prince." Quillan exclaimed, pushing himself from off the couch and into a sitting position. He ran a hand through his hair and stared the other boy down. "It's noon already, isn't it?" He was just itching for this boy to leave.

"Thank you... I quite thought it was an excellent observation... but i will settle for great..." He leveled a challenging look toward the other boy. He couldn't help it... He absolutely loved a good battle of sarcasm and lackadaisical attitudes.
"Well obviously.... I would really hope that when no one is in the room there isn't a bunch of loud music or things playing... That may be enough to change my whole out look on magic..."
His fingers played the tune even while he talked. He had played this melody many times and this was a very nice way to royally upset the other kid.
He completely stopped playing. "A prince? You think so? Now you are just trying to flatter me." He gave a sarcastic girlish smile. "Noon? Already?" He glanced around for a time piece. "Nope Its 11: 48...." He grinned. "Which gives me... 12 more minutes to play another few songs..." He started into one of the most obnoxious songs he could think of....

Quillan's eyes narrowed at the boy. "You're the type to settle for less, no doubt," He retorted, flipping over and laying face up on the couch. He really didn't bother to look at Kennedy any more. But that blood curling noise--it made Quillan want to clamp his ears shut! He really couldn't understand some people's kids, sheesh. What an obnoxious brat. Quillan's eyes strained as he stared up at the ceiling. To be honest, he felt as if he gained a bajillion pounds over night. All of his body was stiff.
Now, he was just certain that this kid was doing this to get on his nerves. "Oh, definitely. Y'know, I think you are such a prince--prissy attitude and all!" Quillan elaborated, smiling viciously. Though his playing was horrible, to say the least, he wasn't going to let this kid get under his skin any further. "I bet you're thinking of making a band, right? I'd think it'd be fantastic! You'd par up with Alvin and the Chipmunks, I dare say," Quillan threw out a Muggle reference, wondering if the other boy would be so ignorant as to not understand... That would be entertaining.
"Ah, I am afraid to say that time piece is a few minutes slow. Nasty thing, really. It's noon, trust me--or if you don't, why don't you go check a different piece and come back here? I'm pretty sure the room next door has a clock. Because, y'kow, I wouldn't want such a chap like yourself to be late. Now skedaddle." Quillan shooed Kennedy with his hand, not even bothering to look at him when he spoke.

Kenny offered a smile."Hey.... sometimes people need to settle... can't always get the best thing..." His mother had raised him to like the best... but be ok with second best. As it was Kenny's family wasn't from super rich roots.
He laughed out loud. He had to honor the kid's barb. "Good one..." HE had walked into that prince set up. However he was very amused by the next statement out of the boy's mouth. "Hey.... they made millions... I would be happy with that."
"Well i guess Serge will be waiting for me then..." He turned back to his piano. "I will be off... in about... 9 minutes.." He yawned and picked out the jeopardy theme.

Quillan snorted. This guy just admitted he wasn't the best, and there was little more that could give him satisfaction at the moment. Well, not that Quillan needed any more confirmation that this guy sucked... Just listen to that blasted racket! In actuality, Quillan was surprised that the windows were still in tact!
"Yes, but their dignity just about went down the drain with that. No way to live, mate." Quillan rolled his eyes. Of course, this was a bluff. He'd give up his dignity in a heart beat to get millions. And you know what he'd do with those millions? Buy an army of chocolate frogs, which he would promptly release onto the grounds of Hogwarts. It. Would. Be. Awesome!
"Your clock is fast."
