James heaved a huge sigh as he worked on dressing Corwin up in his outdoor wear... also making sure to choose 'fancy' clothes and give an attempt to make him look presentable. He went so far as to tie back Corwin's long, beautiful hair with a bow, and give him an overcoat to his white and black shirt. He looked presentable... Sunday-clothing best, even. That would have to do.
As he drove the still-sleepy Corwin to his appointment at the center, he fidgeted with his own attire a bit. It was one thing to make your child a shining example of class, but quite another to do so to yourself. Plus, it was the full moon soon and he was drawn to more animal-like behavior. It made him rather uneasy around people, as he didn't know when he was going to 'go wolf' on them and... sniff someone's butt, or try and bite them. It had happened in the past, anyway. He'd never live that down.
"Corwin?" the man called to his son, reaching across to gently shake him awake. "Corwin, we're here.. time to wake up."
The dragon-half child woke quietly with a yawn, and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He yawned once more, but was awake enough to help himself out of the car when James came to assist him down to the ground.
"Now remember what we talked about. Best behavior please. We're meeting some very important people, and we don't want to make them think any less of us - right?"
Corwin nodded, and reached up to adjust that ribbow-bow slightly, so it felt more centered on his head. "Yes, father."
"Good boy. Let's go."
With that, he walked into the building, approaching whoever was waiting for them there.
"Hello... I'm James Reid, and this is Corwin Reid... we've come for an appointment?"

"Hello again you two!" Apoxi greeted happily, reaching up and patting Corwin's head lightly. "You know, you didn't have to make the appointment's so early - she could have come in the late afternoon. Would you like to go and see her first as she's the one on the clock?"

James nodded, and set his son down, waiting until all four legs touched the ground before he let the boy stand on his own. He reached down to hold Corwin's hand in his own, giving his son a smile, and squeezing lightly to show he was there for him.
"We would. Corwin's very excited to be meeting everyone, and as a result was up a little late last night with anticipation. He's a bit sleepy, but I'm sure he'll wake up if we walk a bit."

Apoxi laughed and reached out to pat the boy's head, "Well come on then kiddo!"
They were led down a few halls to what looked like a somewhat interesting reception hall. Inside was actually kind of shocking - it was almost purely white fluffy clouds like seen in commercials or movies about angels. Seated neatly on one with her legs crossed, filing her nails, was a woman with rather large cleavage and a round rear end. She wore little more than light pink lingerie and an almost see-through nightdress over top of it, her cloud-hair long and wispy today, like the soft clouds all around them, and hanging over her shoulders. Her real hair was blonde with pink tips, and she had two large rainbows trailing through her cloud hair,intertwined softly.
Upon seeing Corwin, she waved with one hand, playful in her actions. "Hey little one. Here to meet me?" she asked, patting a cloud beside her.
