I have yet to read these books but I am told that no one can call themselves true Steampunk fans until they have read the following:

Journey to the Center of the Earth

10,000 leagues under the sea

Jouney to the Moon (I think this is the name...?)

I believe I have all of thoes somewhere so I plan to read them all soon, but I have only heard good things about these and evidentially they are the most classic Steampunk novels out there, they were steampunk before steampunk exsisted biggrin

Ah, Jules Verne.

Journey to the Center of the Earth wasn't so much a steampunky book but it indeed was a great read.

10,000 leagues however is a bit steampunky. Also A good read.

I recommend them both, well anything Verne that is.
