Amrita was a ghoul on a mission.
Her resolve to try and get a new body had returned, and that meant a few things needed to be discussed or thought though. One of which, of course, was bringing back some information to Malodore about what she wanted. The little Undead had attempted the Doctor's room, and was met with no answer. After waiting twice as long as she should have in front of his door, she picked her brain for where he might have gone next; sadly, a good chunk of time passed before she tried the library.
Still no Doctor.
Next came a peek into some of the classrooms, and then the Shed out back, and after nudging over a rock with one of her heels, heaved such a heavy sigh that her small shoulders slumped. Well, maybe he was in the Demon Dorms! She wasn't about to go there without anyone with her, though. Today, she seemed doomed.
On her way back, she decided to take the long way through the school itself, coming across the Creepateria and, miraculously, a vaguely familiar red hat. Brightening hopefully, she slipped into the room and padded her way closer towards the student in the red hat, hoping that it was who she was looking for.
"Uhm...M---" She paused. Oh god, what if he was busy?! Aaa she didn't want to interrupt! Squeaking instead, she covered her mouth with both of her backwards hands instead.

Today's special was... well, Malodore wasn't entirely sure what it was. Which was why it was currently dissecting it, having peeled away the tortilla-like skin and extracted a few bean-like organ chains from the soupy-salsa-esque goo within the 'abdominal' cavity. Delightful, how they mimiced 'actual' food so well...
The faint peep was enough to attract its attention, and the plague doctor turned its head to see who it was. "Yes? Ah! Amrita." It opened its beak in a smile, and set down its surgical equipment/cutlery. "A pleasure to see you again. Are you here to dine?"

Oooh, busted!
"Uhm...S-sorry for interrupting..." Amrita lowered her head sheepishly, linking her hands behind her back and fidgeting her toes behind her. She relaxed a little bit at the motion she always assumed was a smile, and slowly shook her head at its question.
"Ah! Um, N-no, I was actually, um, looking for you!" She admitted then, moving closer and then around the table to take the seat across from Malodore, folding her hands as neatly as her anatomy would allow; which wasn't neat. At all.
"I turned over a rock and everything!" She half-lamented, half seemed proud of herself. An odd tone for sure, but it was an odd thing to do when looking for someone much larger than a rock.

"Oh, you aren't interrupting," Malodore assured her, pushing the subject to one side as she moved to sit down across from it. "Such simple observations are scarcely capable of interruption in the first place..."
...
"A rock?" it inquired, politely. Apparently they weren't quite on the same page.

"T-that's, um, good!" Looking relieved, the little undead made another curious glance at the meal it had been taking apart. Weeeird, scarelings ate that? Part of her wished she actually ate to see what it tasted like, but the other part of her was sure this would be a good time to count her lucky stars.
"Hmm? OH! Y-yeah!" Offering a sheepish smile, she started to play with her hair. "Leave no stone unturned, right?" Now she was beaming with pride at herself, both for remembering the saying and for implementing it!

"Ah, yes, I see. Words to live by," Malodore said, calmly, hoping the ghoul would pick up on the sense of calmness and... be... calmed by it? That kind of thing was really more Riley's forte than its own, but it figured it may as well give it a go.
"What did you need, Amrita? Clearly you weren't turning over stones for no reason." The plague doctor sounded pleased. It liked being sought out.

The little Vetala did pick up the calm and she was, surprisingly, calming down. Still fidgeting with her hair and still looking more around the Doctor than at it. It was a habit she wasn't likely to break any time soon.
"Umm. Well...I was thinking about the body and...thought I should tell you before I forgot." Considering the little hiccup between the ghoul and Christof, it was a good thing she still seemed set on doing the project. The latter part of her sentence was in an almost lamenting tone; she hated forgetting, and she was surprised that she even remembered this long!
"If...that's okay."

"Of course! Have you given it more thought? There is no rush, naturally, but I presume you won't want to wait forever before attempting to take a new home for yourself." The plague doctor steepled its fingers and peered at Amrita with interest.

"Umm. Kind of." She actually hadn't thought about it in a while, but she did think about it a lot, mostly before the trip. Amrita did not in agreement to not wanting to wait. "I...I want out of this." The Vetala made a vague gesture to herself, but made a point of grabbing one of her wrists and letting it go limp against the table. Naturally the impact did not hurt her.
"It...It's starting to feel...weird." She informed the Doctor, wrinkling up what was left of her face.

"Weird?" Malodore tilted its head to one side. "How so? We can definitely speed up the process if need be, though we're going to need better facilities for construction..." It frowned a bit; though the emotion wasn't visible on its rigid face, it was audible in its voice.

"Yes...like..." Amrita paused, once more scrunching up her face not to frown, but to concentrate. What was the comparison she was looking for? Um. Um. Uh. It was hard to describe how one felt when your vocabularily sometimes went into the negative numbers.
"...Tight...?" She guessed, speaking very slowly as though she didn't believe that was what she was looking for. "L-like clothing that is too, um, small."
"...Ah! W-well, it's just starting, so, I don't think it's, um, too urgent!" She said, voice raising in minute panic accompanied with a mild side-to-side fan of her backwards hands. "N-no rush! Just...good to get started...?"

"Hmm." Malodore tapped at the side of its beak with one claw, the movement analogous to someone tapping their chin in thought. "That makes sense. Your spirit is ready to move on, and you need the new vessel to be ready for you. Well, then - in that case, we must lay out the specifics!" It pulled a small notebook and pen out of its sleeve with a flourish, excitement now evident in its voice. "Female, you said, yes? A similar human ethnicity to what you currently posses? What else?"

While Amrita did agree that she felt ready to move on, at least where it came to being comfortable in her own skin, the rest of what Malodore had to say confused her. She stared at it doe-eyed, trying to figure out what it was saying. It took much longer than she cared to admit, but when she figured it out, she poked the tips of her index fingers together.
"Uhhh...yes, that. Um..." Now to try and remember what everyone had said! "A-and I want to look my age!" She clearly did not recall that was an important thing from the first time the project was brought up. "And...umm...I asked Jericho and he said...Not taller than 5'11, B or C cup - whatever that means - and..." She puffed out her cheek for a moment before the held air escaped through her teeth, leaning forward to cup her chin in her hands, her feet swinging over the edge of the chair. "He said like Riley's, kind of."

"Ah... yes, of course." Malodore made a mental note; 'conventional' gender markers weren't in its realm of expertise. "Though we wouldn't want to overbalance you too greatly..."
It also glanced at her hands. "I could, also... if the hand-twisting bothers you, we could put the hands on backwards to start?"

Amrita had actually kept prattling on for a little longer, after the initial pause from the Doctor.
"N-not that I'd want one just like hers...um...she seems kind of...uhm, older than...you know, me." She gestured to herself lamely, and then pondered over the hands question. The little Vetala stretched her borrowed arms out in front of her, spreading her hands open wide, palms facing her and her thumbs on the inside. While backwards hands and feet were the bane of her existance a few times, she had to admit...she'd gotten pretty used to it. So used to it in fact, that a sense of dread welled up within her at the thought of losing them. Her limbs, especially her backwards feet, had gotten her out of many jams. Oh feet, what would she ever do without you.
"M-maybe...? I...I kind of...like them..." She murmured out, drawing her hands closer to her as if hiding them, even hooking her feet under the bench. A moment later she leaned in again, a hand pressed against the fleshy cheek of hers. "Besides...Um, it's a sign of possession, so...I don't think it'll go away!" She had leaned in to whisper this harshly, as if it were some terrible secret.
